Indigo - Pinecrest

This is always a fun place to go shopping. They have great prices on books. The store is always clean and well organized. The staff here are always very friendly and helpful. They raise money for local schools and education supporting literacy and reading for kids in Canada and even the local school community.
The washrooms are clean. This location also has a fantastic kids section at the back of the store with a huge selection of books. They also carry kids decor, baby clothing, lunch bags and backpacks, plush toys and toys of all sorts.

Is fantastic and great way to relax and exercise in the pool it's a great way to enjoy the summer

Went there for a book, the website said there were 7 in stock in the store. Checked multiple sections that it could have been in and couldn’t find it. Wandered around for 10 minutes looking for a computer to look it up or a staff member to help me. Couldn’t find either so I left and ordered the book on Amazon.

Absolutely rude staff with zero customer service in the children's department. Won't ever go back to this location.

This indigo branch is so cozy, and may i say, HUMONGOUS. The staff team are very helpful, and patient! Since its so big you're prone to spend a lot of time here, so if you have a parent waiting on you in the car outside, just buy them a coffee from the starbucks right beside the indigo and it'll naturally buy you more time heheh

Absolutely beautiful store. Lots of wonderful books, very well organized. Great selection of unique gifts for everyone on your list. Everything I ever purchased there was great quality and loved. Staff is helpful and knowledgeable. During COVID, staff is very respectful of safety measures.

They control number of folks entering and cashiers are quick and effective. The line to pay is long but the flow is great so no one gets angry, impatient.

They always have what I want and are very kind and helpful. I have always gone back to them over and over and they never disappoint. Plus, I get to have my Specialty coffee on my way out the door. Awesome and awesome.

This is a convenient location. Great open layout. The cashier's are nice, please add employees on the floor for assistance.

Chapters is my Tiffany's. Nothing wrong can happen when you are at Tiffany's. This is obviously a biased review from a book lover.

However, distancing myself from the emotional standpoint, the Pinecrest location is one of the better Indigo/Chapters facilities in Ottawa because of a large free parking lot, a nice separate walkway to Starbucks inside, large footspace, good reading area and a large selection of books. Bonus: It is close to Ikea, Michael's, Linen Chest and the highway - for shopping or taking the route back home.

This location (we still refer to it as Chapters) is a superbly-stocked store with lots of interesting non-book items in stock, as well. All staff we encountered were friendly/approachable and knowledgeable and helped us to locate four relatively secure titles. We also purchased a great lounging/bath robe for a dear friend's birthday. While we did not have time to take in the Starbucks, the wonderful aroma of coffee and assorted baked goods enhanced an already very welcoming shopping experience.

Found what we were looking for. An item had no price tag and there isn't a lot of scanners in the store so took the item to the register to get the price which was a bit inconvenient.

Great store, very big. Lots to see and their merchandise sections are well placed. Very conveniently situated beside a Starbucks, as coffee and books go very well together. Staff was also very helpful with merging Plum Cards when at cash

Great location, great café mocha, great service and a Fab patio on a sunny day. It felt like the first day of summer, so much appreciated following such a looking winter.

Recently renovated with some great gifts and designer things for your house, this large Indigo has a fair-sized Starbucks (note that they have moved the magazines to the OTHER side of the store.) and LOTS of selection when it comes to books.

I dropped a star because there no longer appears to be a low-budget/clearance section (well, I didn't find it).

Very poor if you are looking for technology books. Titles covering 2010 and 2012 versions of products were being sold at full price in 2019. Many titles had slight handling damage as they had been on the shelf a long time.

This isn't really a bookstore anymore. It's so filled with toys and merchandise that it's lost the feel that Chapter's used to have. Where you could take your kids and everyone would end up a chapter or two deep into their books and excited to get them home.

Love this place! Could spend hours just browsing. Also recently learned that I could bring my dog into store. Huge plus for me!

The book store has a really peaceful environment. You can get almost any book here and they have a Starbucks inside the store so you can get coffee while enjoy your book!

When I walked in, I discovered all different sections to browse. It’s different from all the locations. Very bright and cheerful inside. Friendly staff.

Lots of staff there especially at peak times, everyone is always smiling and friendly while you are talking to them! They have lots of selection. Easily my fav location for books.

It's still good but I felt like the Chapters branding was more pleasant, but this one hasn't changed too too much so that's good.

Good size store but the parking lot is a little confusing for some people. Part of the parking lot is one way but some people can't grasp that fact.

Good selection and useful staff, just prices are usually much higher than Amazon or even their own website sometimes. Good sales though, especially on books you'd have never even considered reading

Love the bookstore. Awesome helpful staff. Kids love it as well. And this one has a Starbucks, even better! Coffee and a good book.

Convenient location, however not a complete stock, you might need to go to other Indigo to find the book you are looking for

Waited 25 minutes to get help in finding one book when I got to the cash which had 28 people in front of me I noticed one of my books the back was peeling and I bought it as is because I could not afford any more time going back and getting another copy
