Indigo - Yonge and Eglinton

This library is so cool, they have a big novel collection, a lot of interesting books and many other nice stuff (games, toys, gadgets) It is very clean and the service is great!

Really good store to find fine gifts and interesting things, but overpriced. Sometimes, just way too expensive.

The good side is that there's a sale section which you can fine really cool things for a more reasonable price.

Lots of great books to chose from, staff is friendly and will tend to you anytime. Definitely be back

Great place for gifts, books, or just to kill some time. I used to head here and wait for friends when we were going to see movies.

The staff are helpful and friendly, the merchandize of good quality. I could spend hours browsing, and buying a nice book of course.

A big box book store that offers a whole lot more. This is a great store to browse in, if you have the time. Popular book titles are usually in available with plenty of copies, other titles are hit and miss. As you would expect, there is a wide variety of magazines and periodical publications.

This store offers an assortment of merchandise beyond books. All kinds of gifts, including clothing and accessories as well as a wide range of higher end stationary. There is an Apple / Electronics section and a Starbucks Coffee Shop on the second level that overlooks Yonge Street.

Staff are friendly and helpful and always willing to help you get that difficult book. The store is clean and well kept and help is usually easy to find.

ACCESSIBILITY: This is a two floor store. There is a stairway in the centre of the store as well as escalators and elevator.

It's a decently sized Indigo. Never too crowded, so there's always space to sit down quietly and read. There's even a Starbucks inside, so what's not to love?

Absolutely fabulous! I unfortunately forgot her name, but a staff was so passionate about books she tried so hard to help me find one that I'd enjoy and she made book shopping really fun, thank you:)

Easy to shop and the staff are very friendly. Plenty of stock for books and related items. Found a frother I forgot I wanted! Also got to meet a new author promoting their book in store!

It is a good store to buy books and gifts. With a floor only with books, you will find what you are looking for

Good selection of books written in French, but the staff are moody and I don't like the overall vibe/layout of the store. It feels cramped. Not my favourite Indigo location.

I was having an issue ordering online. The website was glitching for two days and wouldn't allow me to check out. I called the store and explained my problem to try and see if there was any way I could order over the phone. Whoever picked up the call was so rude. She would barely let me speak long enough to explain why I was calling, and was frustrated that she didn't understand what I was trying to say. How about you listen and then you'll understand what's going on? She was clearly exasperated and did not want to be on the phone. I called the online services number, waited on hold for about 15 mins, and decided that I'd rather just order from Amazon. I already spent two days trying to order from Indigo, but apparently Amazon wants my money more.

Indigo made it very easy to pick up the book I ordered for my daughter during this second lockdown. No contact. Simple. Happy customer

I wished there was 2 ppl working the door line may have went faster but overall not a bad experience but when you are paying for parking.

Picked up my curbside pick up order today. Order was correct and and staff were friendly. I would definitely order online again and pick up here

Well due to the current COVID situation, one is not allowed to enter and browse. But the staff were extremely helpful in locating and bringing the items I desired.

Great selection, location and very helpful staff. They have also been on the top of their game with regards to observing Covid-19 protocols. Waiting for the days when one could go back and spend hours here

This location is a good example of a well-maintained outlet w/ proper social distancing protocols being followed by staff and customers. I was impressed with the way they are continuing their day to day operations. They have a wide selection of fascinating reads available for purchase at good prices. Ive been meaning to get my 6 year old introduced to motorcycles. I picked up a coffee table read about the american motorcycling industry and the history of Harley Davidson. Will definitely re-visit.

Great experience. Usually has lots in stock. Staff is friendly and extremely helpful at this location, depending on who's working. Lots of FREE parking in the area. Always nice and clean. Very close to TTC (above Eglinton station).

Really helpful advice from the cash clerk. Not many bookstores left, but here's hoping this one is doing well, because the place has a nice vibe, and we were treated well.

Fantastic 2 floor location. Staff are always helpful and friendly (tech side especially). The Starbucks at this location is never busy and often has places to take a seat and read.

Went shopping to pickup certain books in a series. Store was clean and isles clear. Had to search for someone to assist but once found they were very polite and took me to where the books were. One book was not in stock but they phoned the warehouse and they advised I could come back tomorrow or visit there store downtown who had it. Very much appreciated their honesty and time helping me out. Checkout took awhile as they where busy.

I am a frequent customer at this Indigo location and I have purchased from here many times, but recently, I had a very disappointing experience. I visited this location with a friend of mine, and as we were browsing the aisles, we noticed that a male employee had seemed to be following us. We noticed him but brushed it off, and continued our shopping. After a few minutes, we noticed that 2 different male employees and a security guard had been following us. I decided to put away the items i intended on purchasing and left. One of the employees had followed us all the way to the front of the store. We were not approached by this man but we were left very uncomfortable after this situation. As a woman of colour, I felt that my privacy had been invaded by these employees. I will no longer be purchasing from this location, but if I do return I hope that the employees can be educated and trained to work on their issues of misogyny, racial discrimination and ageism in the workplace. I treated the employees and the merchandise of this location with nothing but respect, but was not given the same treatment back. As a customer, I should be treated with kindness, but instead I was violated and disrespected. Do better.

This Indigo location is conveniently located by the subway and opens quite late for a shop. At the front of the store there’s staff recommendations. I like the categories they chose like Throwback of the Month and Author of the Month to highlight other books besides current bestsellers.

There’s an extensive home section that feels larger than other locations. Check out the clearance section at the back. I included a photo of the reduction in prices as an example of the clearance prices.

There’s also a new baby registry at the store. I haven’t used it so can’t speak to the experience.

I love Indigo, especially this one. The layout is great. Staff is very friendly and the place is dog friendly as well. You get a very good vibe overall!

One of larger stores with a great selection of books and other novel gift ideas. Some good bargain books can be found. Great selection of books for kids, young teens and adults

I've been coming here for years. This location always carries a large collection of journals, agendas, and calendars.
