Indigo - Toronto Eaton Centre

It was good experience exploring Indigo @ Eaton Centre. This two story store offers a wide range of books, including bestsellers, fiction, non fiction, child books and much more. I did not see any author events but knew that, they will host most often. There are stationery, gifts and lifestyle products available. Really good place with addtion of cafe shop on second floor with good view of outside.

It is busiest shopping destination in South of Toronto. All round connected by roads with parking in lower area. Though I suggested reaching by public transport as parking is not cheap. You may spend few hours in this area.

It's where the books live. I love any and all Indigo stores, but this one is perfectly fine, you should go there, buy some books it will make you happy.

Absolutely huge. Has a large lego section on the second floor. Board games, stationary, and home decor as well as its extensive book selection. Very kid friendly.

The best bookstore I could ask for. I started buying books from indigo in 2017. Needless to say, I never knew I would be able to connect with so much literature. I became a crave for books especially mangas. When I come here, I’m always greeted politely and the atmosphere is very indulging. Everyone is happily browsing and reading while the employees help assist you if you are looking for something in particular. If I can’t reach the store, they always help me on the phone or I order as many books I can. It’s very fun to collect points and whenever I order, I order a lot! I recently got into Attack on Titan, Jujutsu Kaiden and other novels or sets like The Outsider or Tom Clancy’s Jack Ryan. I’m always happy to buy books from Indigo, they got their stuff right on. Keep it up!

Sure. I knew what I was looking for and the Customer Service was absolutely wonderful! He checked the computer to see if they had it in stock. Yes, they did! I told him, I'll take it. Then.he walked me up the stairs, to the exact spot, and voila! I picked up the books, went to the cash and was out the door! All in about 15 minutes! Beats being online for two hours!

I love the Toronto Eaton Centre! So big! So many options, i could shop here for years and still not get to every store. Clean! Everything you need is here!

Large wide selection of books and merchandise. Well organized and you can get help finding items through kiosks or inperson. Very nice if looking for a gift or if you like reading.

This has all been a challenge for everyone and the staff are trying their best. So, thank you for that!

The associates were very friendly, they helped me kindly. Store is organized and customer can find books very easily.

We visited this few times. They have a wide collection of books. They also have home utensils, greeting cards and so on.

Though it’s always busy, this store is clean, organize and they always stop to help customers and answer questions. Huge selection!

Only go once a year to get Christmas presents for my nieces and I've never been disappointed. The guy who served me on the second floor today went above and beyond, cannot Thank You enough. Excellent Staff & Service.

Huge indigo, it can be super hectic during the holidays which makes it bad for those who are claustrophobic. They try their best either way.

Was looking for bilingual French-English books. Unfortunately they don't carry any. Disappointing considering these are the 2 official languages of Canada.

This Indigo location has a huge variety of books. Definitely larger than most Indigo stores. It is pretty organized considering how crowded it gets in there. I love coming here for a long time and getting lost in the large selection. The staff are friendly and helpful. Great location to find the books you want.

I love this place. The only reason I am not there every day is because I can't leave without buying something. Its Toys R Us for adults

I always enjoy going into indigo or one of the other names in the chain. One thing I like is that they actually follow the listed Canadian prices on the books which a lot of other book stores ignore and add an additional percentage on top. I still enjoy a good paper novel and this is one of my favorite place to buy new books. One thing about going to a place like this over online is you notice a bunch of new books you never really recognize online.

Crowded! Almost always crowded. Nowhere to sit usually, but I am sure they set it up like that on purpose. Starbucks in there is a nightmare, long lines and never any seating because people are stuck on their laptops with no coffee with them and are just wasting spaces. But, besides all that, the staff are friendly and there's a good selection of merchandise that is almost always in excellent or perfect shape.

Always has a great new selection and other convenient gifts during holiday season. The price isn't quite as good as BMV and the lineups can be very long even outside of the holidays.

The staff was inattentive and disinterested as they allowed a woman to cut in line and go to a cashier to pay for her stuff during the massive lines during the holiday season. They need to know that incidents like these are very disturbing. That woman who aviofed waiting in line left the store with a giant smirk on her face. I informed the staff and cashier immediately that this was unacceptable

I love this place here at Eaton. Great selection of books. Keep in mind though that it is usually crowded if you want to have a quiet read there before you buy.

I called during the holidays to put a book on hold. The lady who I spoke with on the phone was very helpful. She even recommended another book by the same author that I might be interested in for another gift. Great customer service experience overall!

I would give 0 stars if I can. Came to this location to buy the in stock lego as recommended by the Indigo salesman at Yorkdale. I was assured that they will price match the item but the manager refused to do that. Thank you, Indigo! $10 parking on top of a dissatisfied child and 1 hour spent driving there! I wish you all the best but I will never step foot in your store!

Great place. Good staff. All willing to help. Had an issue with an item coming in from them broken and they rectified the issue quickly and entirely. Highly recommend this one

I changed my mind about this place was there today with my daughter the girl who work there let my daughter do the dolls hair then this other clown who worked there came along and ripped the doll out of my daughter s hands said they don't allow this no more and told my daughter to leave I spend alot of money there every month no more u need to get ur staff in line I plan on going to the police regarding this never going back until you fire that clown

Everytime I visited, books were not in stock. Always very busy, with non-book items and Starbucks, it's becoming more a gift store than a bookstore.

This is by far the best book store I have been to. I love the fact that you can borrow the books, magazines, comics, etc.and sit at Starbucks to read and work.

All the staff is super friendly and helpful, they are very knowledgeable when it comes to advice and the place is so cozy and welcoming.

It also contains a massive section for kids (American Girl) ;)

Check it out, my regular place to go on weekends.

For a person lime me, indigo is a good place for buying books and stationary at best rate. Thanks for warm place and good hospitality.

Scrubbed up bookstore? Organized so that it is easier to look and shop online. Not particularly specific as to where you can find things. Needs a better remainder table and bargains.

Indigo Stores are lovely. They are well laid out, with plenty of space, and two floors at the Eaton and Bloor St locations. Love the children's book section, always well stocked. Baby gift items are excellent quality. Lots of gift items for home and adults too, and a really fun place to shop at Christmas!

Bookstores are becoming a rarity. I missed browsing real books, turning real pages, and feeling amazed and intrigued as I read random pages. I love the visceral act of browsing, not just virtual browsing. This Indigo reminds me of that love. The staff knows their stuff and can help you locate a book quickly.

Unfortunately, it's located in a busy mall. The lighting is a bit harsh and there really isn't a good place to just hangout and read. I don't think they encourage that. It's more of a place to go in, buy a book and leave.

And for bookstores to survive, they have to turn into more of a gift shop and they have an entire floor dedicated to gift items.

Clean layout, help if you want it but not overbearing. Two floors and lots of space, the spiral staircase is a nice touch and adds to the overall magical feeling of being there. It's got a Starbucks and is a great place to hang out and I am certain you could find any book you want there.

Indigo's omnipresence, great selection, friendly staff, and comfortable environment are largely responsible for the excessive backlog of books sitting on my desk for me to get through. They're also responsible for me being such an avid reader after a few years of picking up nothing besides textbooks. Now that I'm back in the US I wish I had access to such an available chain of bookstores.

This location as well as the one just North of it on Bloor are my two favorites.
