I hired them to move half of one storage unit to another city. A few weeks later, when a company I had already hired to move my business (with several tons of heavy equipment) to another city fell through, I was able to hire this Movers to make the move within two days. The team did an amazing job.

Super friendly and efficient. They were cautious with everything, helped me arrange the furniture, and made it, so I felt at home right away. Thanks! I'm hoping it will be a long time before I have to move again, but if/when I do, I'll call these folks again.

The guys that showed up were super chill and hustled the entire time to get the job done in a timely manner and at a very reasonable rate. I would definitely consider using them again.

They were responsive, friendly, and honest. There were no hidden costs that showed up along the way or after the move. Everything they touched was handled with caution and care. I would not hesitate to use these guys again.

Pretty straightforward movers! Make sure everything is packed when arriving because they get straight to it. They quickly gathered my belongings, and I appreciated this a lot.

Affordable service! Inner City Moving & Storage Company helped me move my mother into an assisted living facility and myself into my new house on the same day. Staff was prompt and reliable, and their rates were reasonable.

Paul and his guys helped me with the move. They arrived on time, handled things delicately, helped me with packing the stuff and the whole move was smooth and finished even before the committed time.

They were very RELIABLE MOVERS. They have all necessary things to pack glass table top and other glass items to prevent from any damage during the moving process. Closet box is definitely a stress relivers and they are very friendly with my kids and pets throughout the entire move. I really thanks them for a wonderful move.

Timely, communicative, friendly, respectful and very skilled in moving things safely. They were well prepared with all of the tools and accessories needed for an efficient move and to maintain the quality of the floors and furniture. The estimate and booking process were fast and easy.

Inner City Moving was excellent from start to finish. They made a move in precisely the time estimated and were very careful with all my stuff. They were done much earlier than we had planned, saving us money and time. İ strongly recommend them.

I liked that they wrapped all the furniture in protective blankets to move it around instead of breaking things or risking scuffs. I was so impressed with everything from their strength to friendliness. It seemed to me that a friendly neighbor was helping me move. Finally, when we got to my new place, they helped me arrange things around the apartment in their places. I will recommend this company again and again!

You will see many 'revised' reviews, but this is not a 5 star moving company.

I have moved many times in my life and this was easily the worst moving experience of my life.

I packed everything I neat boxes to avoid heavy or awkward moving. Everything was in a 10 by 10 storage unit that took 45 minutes to load.

Movers were 40 minutes late (not a big deal obv, things happen) but I explained that I had to pay for an elevator and a time frame from the superintendent of the building. They said they would rush because if we went over time, I would have to pay more.

I had moved just a month earlier and put everything in the storage unit myself, so I told the movers this would be an easy move. They complained I had too much stuff (a storage unit 10 by 10 to a one bedroom condo) and took twice as long as I had done the month previously by myself. I hired two men to do the job of just me and they took double the time. I am not a superwoman, and I can't help but feel this was totally intentional.

Because they were so late, I had already moved about half the unit to the loading dock already, so I don't know why it took so long.

They smashed several of our items. A bookshelf had the entire back ripped off and hidden behind some boxes. Hidden for me to find later. The walls got all smashed up too, even though I said it would be fine to leave everything in the living room and I'll take it up myself, they said they would take up the boxspring- smashing every wall on the way up. So now I have to manage several broken items and repair all the chips and scratches all the way up the wall.

When I approached the owner he basically said I had underestimated the amount of furniture I had, and that I don't know how moving works. I literally moved the entire contents less than a month ago.
It was needlessly dismissive.

I booked this company off the reviews and only later saw they were all 'revised' reviews.

So hopefully you can read this review and book an actual moving company and not have the experience I had dealing with this company.

The crew arrived right on time, packed some things that I didn't have good packing materials for! It was the smoothest move ever! I highly recommend them

Two stars for easy communication when booking with Paul. However, the movers were not organized. They work hard but I don’t think they have tons of experience with moving and how to place stuff in a trolly or truck efficiently. It took three guys 5 hours to move a two bedroom condo to the storage building cross the street. A lot of my wood furniture is scratched because the movers were just placing them however they see fit. They also broke a west elm mid century night stand ($600 retail). The movers begged me not to call the owner to ask for compensation because they got paid $17 per hour and he said the owner would charge them for the damage. Their insurance policy says 60 cents per pound per item, which means I can only get $24 back assuming the night stand is 40lb. Thus I never reached out to the owner for compensation. It could be just the team I got that day were not great. I hope the owner can improve the quality of his team.

Edited review. While my initial experience was slightly rough with cosmetic damage to a few items and a broken desk, I was compensated fairly. Paul cares about the customer and his teams work and always strives for a happy outcome. The movers themselves were understanding gentlemen and worked hard to help me move my stuff from my bachelor up two flights of difficult to navigate stairs. I'd choose this company again,

I was very happy with how well my move went. The guys were great and it went quickly. They also took good care of all my stuff and absolutely nothing was broken. The move was completely stress free. I will definitely hire them again.

We used Inner City moving 3 times now and just love how well things go with these guys, they showed up on time, they wrap all the furniture before moving them, they charge what was promis and they were just excellent movers. Thank you Paul, Malcolm and Alrick thanks Inner City moving.

Outstanding professional service. Really came through and saved the day with their efficiency and promptness.

I have to warn everyone not to use Inner City Moving. After I had e-transferred my deposit, received an email and call from the Company confirming that I was booked in for the move, they did not show up when they were supposed to for my move yesterday! I called several times and no one answered. When they finally answered, they proceeded to tell me that they didn't have me in their calendar. I had to forward them the confirmation email and show proof of my deposit e-transfer. When the movers finally came, it was two hours after I had originally booked in. It was extremely stressful. Do yourself a favour - choose another company for your move! This Company is disorganized and extremely unprofessional.

Highly Recommend Inner City Moving for any downtown moving. They were excellent with communication, scheduling and managed to do the move quick and easy within a 2 hr time slot, leaving the rest of the day open. Would definitely use again in the future!

Had a great move with Inner City. A little mix up on the start time but Paul kept in touch and the guys were great.

My first time using movers and had a great experience! Even with all of the recent snow they were able to move the whole truckload from start to finish in under 3 hours at a very fair price. Highly recommend.

They were a little late but (traffic these days fr, so I understand) other then that, they were great. Very kind and accommodating. They worked fast and were respectful of my things as much as they could be. The one guy chikchalk said hi to all the cats so definitely a thumbs up to that, the other one had pretty eyes. Also they lifted all my furniture like it was made of paper. They were all so sweet and had great energies, also they were HUGE like these are some big guys, so yeah they are great at there jobs. Also Paul the guy who sets it all up is so sweet and has a great voice. Overall the experience was so great, almost wish I needed more things moved.

Just had a great moving /storage experience with Inner City, yesterday. Owner/Manager Paul was great to deal with. His team came on time, worked very fast, wrapped all of my furniture very well and were friendly and polite! I would definitely recommend them.

I had a particularly challenging move from Toronto to Ottawa. My "stuff" had to be moved into storage during two separate sessions and then moved from Toronto to Ottawa to a condo building without a loading dock. Amongst all this, I experienced unexpected delays and changes to plans due to unforeseen circumstances. During all this chaos, Paul and his staff were professional and courteous and adapted to all my changes with good humour and understanding.

The good:
The movers worked hard and were friendly.
Coordinator sent a third mover to speed things along.

The bad:
Movers showed up 45 min late, and didn't communicate well during that time.
A couple of small items sustained some damage from mishandling.

We were hesitant at first due to some negative reviews. However the team was incredible. Shout out to David, Sloan, and Mehave. They helped box and wrapped every piece of furniture and miscellaneous item and moved everything in 3 hours when we were expecting 5. Amazing service!

First time using moving service. I’ll say the experience is way better than I thought. The two gentlemen carefully wrapped my furnitures. They also offer disassemble & reassemble service, which is incredibly convenient. The price is also fair. Definitely worth it.

I recently moved from Toronto to Vancouver and used inner city moving. They picked everything up in time snd arrange with the long distance movers to bring my things across the country. Nothing was missing, nothing was broken and I had paintings and many fragile things. They were communitive and helpful. I recommend inner city.
