Interchange Financial Currency Exchange

Stay away, it's a scam. Don't believe me, call to ask whos their CEO or even manager.you'd get none. Can you trust Money Shop that wouldn't even tell you their names?

The company offered good exchange rate, convenient location unfortunately I have to say that the person at the counter was totally unfriendly. I greeted him by saying Hi but no response.

I need the funds converted in USD in my USA Bank Account in less then 3 days from the date I performed the transactions online. So requested to expedite them via email just when I saw the debit in my CAD Bank Account, and the response from Customer Service Representative (Alexandria Riley) was amazingly fast and I got the funds in my USA Bank Account in literally less than 2 days.

The exchange rate was good however I was not able to purchase the amount I originally ordered due to the large denomination bills which I wouldn’t be able to use with the local vendors. I needed small bills.

Offers 1.23 BBD when rate is 1.55.0.75 USD when rate is 0.77. Used to simply paying a rate of 0.013% to 0.02%.
That's a difference of $20 on 1000 CAD vs 7.64 on USD but 216.18 on BBD.
So for some rates it can be decent. Others less so.

Also, a "Is (company) legit? " website page says something about a company.

Awful customer service & didn’t receive the correct amount on the receipt.

From a younger male employee, I assume from Southwest Asian descent to clarify for other employees’ sake.

First of all, no greetings which is fine, but after I initiated the exchange he threw the exchanged money towards me which I had to collect and tidy up, didn’t even give me the correct amount on the receipt, and was all around rude. Unacceptable behaviour. Feels like I got scammed as well.

I can confirm some of the comments about this place misleading people with fake exchange rates on their website.

I always exchange my money at this location. They seem to give the best rates and there never seems to be a line waiting. The staff is friendly. Always phone the main office and get a quote and control number. You will get a better rate.

Very quick service. Was mailed to me in 2 days from when I placed the order. No gimmicks or hassles and great exchange rate.

Very high rates compared to banks.deceptive advertising stating “best rate guarantee”. If you ask them to match a bank rate (even publicly posted rates on bank websites) they must call head office for authorization which they state takes 30 minutes +. I would strongly recommend against exchanging money here.

The rates are only so-so. They say they'll match to competitors but sometimes that isn't actually true. And they won't give a clear reason why when they refuse to match. But if you are downtown and are in a pinch, this place is sometimes worth it.

EDIT: Their review responses do not hold water so I am downgrading them to one-star. The company I asked them to price match to is not a one location company. Furthermore, some of these responses to other reviews here are ridiculous. "Northern Irish Pound". Good grief.

Great rates compared to the bank, plus no fees is an added bonus. The young teller was very friendly and provided great customer service

Been using their service since 2014. Back when I was an international student, I was glad I found them as they provided best rates and made exchanging large sums easy with account to account exchange. Saved so much money compared to bank’s rate. Probably as close as you’re gonna get to forex

I had trouble ordering online (my own doing). Spoke to Suzan P and quickly got everything sorted out. Service was terrific and rates were the best I could find.

Came here to exchange GBP from Northern Ireland and was turned away because their catalogue only has GBP with Bank of England on. You need to update your catalog and get educated the geography and politics of Northern Ireland and its banks. Absolute waste of my time. Went to TD and sure enough it was accepted with no issue whatsoever. Would not reccomend going here if you are trying to sell a currency that is not an extremely well know currency.

Scam compared to others took a much hogher percentage and the rates they used did noy reflect up to date rates
