I graduated from international beauty institute in April of 2022 and I have to say I had the best experience. It was all because of Chelsey! I did the advanced medi-spa therapist course and she made the whole experience fun and exiting! If your thinking about taking a course from here I would 100% recommend her! THE BEST TEACHER!

Hi. I completed my nail technician course last month with instructor "Israa Wahib", I must say she is the most amazing and knowledgeable person as well as a very hard working instructor. You can ask a million questions from her but her response is always perfect and accurate with a smile on her face. I was so comfortable during the entire course just because of Israa.

I had a great time here taking the nail technician course, they are very professional and make you feel extremely comfortable. Israa was a great instructor and always made me feel confident about what and how I was doing. I am extremely grateful for that. Thank you guys very much for the wonderful experience!

They took the complaints seriously and seemingly, they have restructured with [some] new instructors that actually value their profession and instruct with passion and professionalism.
Still quite disappointed that the majority of work is at home watching videos instead of in class, practical instruction.

My wife enrolled a couple months ago and was excited to start. Just a short time into the program she's almost in tears because she feels like she's been scammed. She's learning nothing from the course because she has an unqualified instructor that self professes her laziness. She's recently spoken with administration and all they do is make excuses and try to put blame on my wife telling here that she's just not interested in learning. Absolutely insulting. She is so upset, frustrated, disappointed and devastated with all of this that she is dropping out. She'll be the third one to do so in a small class. I've personally spoken with two other students who feel the same.

I'm pleased to find out that the school has agreed to a full refund.

I just finished the nail tech course in June, the instructor Israa was very kind and knowledgeable. All staff I happened to encounter in passing were very welcoming and positive. I found it a good place to learn a new trade I have no prior experience in. Next on my list is nail art then lash technician: } I also liked that I could park in their lot during the evening class.

I began attending IBI in September of 2021 and just completed my medical aesthetics diploma may 2022, I have nothing but positive input towards this school and allllll of the instructors in it even admissions. The school overall is a very positive space and completely different from high school. Every morning students are welcomed with open arms and smiles and instructors are more than happy to be able to teach each and every one of us, their happiness is to be able to watch us grow from the very first day we walk in to our last, they treat each and every student equally with no hesitation of offering help and support even after completion of the course. I recommend this college over any for any of the courses offered as the instructors love to share knowledge and you will be heavily taught and informed of all courses with every question you have answered. Aside from my medical aesthetics I took 5 extra certificate courses and I’m so glad the instructors persuaded me to do so and encouraged me to help build my portfolio! I highly highly recommend this school! I promise you won’t get let down! I made many friends in this school of all ages, all students are mature and caring and there to learn! Overall I wish I could have went here longer than I did it’s sad to have to go onto the next chapter of my life but I’m glad I had the opportunity to graduate from this amazing school!

If I could do half a star or even no stars period! I totally would. I had terrible experience. I only see good reviews from students whom have taken courses that cost like three times the amount of mine. Yeah I only paid for an eyelash extensions technician course, but as a single mother that is alot of money. I saved it, thinking I was going to learn so much and the outcome was going to be completely different. I learned absolutely nothing. Thankfully I know other techs and their willing to help me. Their the ones who said I should recieve some type of compensation. I never realized how much I DID NOT LEARN until I was doing my lash tech friends lashes. They both have been teaching me as I do theirs. My teacher was a sweet heart but she by the time she did our class she had only taught two before us. There should be better steps set in place like more oof a plan set out for the teachers during the course. I heard more stories than I learned anything. She told us all good and bad stories about lashing. I first joined the course thinking it'd be great because it was face to face, hands on. I was wrong. I could have learned more online. At least some of the online courses offer bigger kits or websites for free for a month and help with marketing. I don't use anything out of the kit I got. I literally ordered all new stuff off PLA. I tried emailing them and I just get some generic reply as if they don't see it as anything wrong. I'm just really disappointed. I'm not saying don't take a course here but maybe make sure your teacher has been teaching long enough before you send the deposit. Ask them in your first initial email. Im sure its a good school.however, when i attended through online it was horrible. I had to drop out wasting $2,000 (no refund) for the time i was there because communication was HORRIBLE. My assignments online kept disappearing so i would email them and ask why that was happening and no one would ever and i mean EVER reply to my emails.very disappointed since this is the school i chose out of 3 options for the medical aesthetician course. Funny thing is they would always email me about upcoming start dates for others, but never answered my emails about my questions about the class. Very disappointed and upset that i had to drop out and give up on this school because of this.

I took the makeup certificate course with Sofia and it was an AMAZING experience! She is so sweet and patient with everything that I’ve done and has taught me so much. Everyone else is extremely kind and welcoming once you walk through the door. I will definitely be coming back!

I’m a previous student was lucky enough to have been a student of Paje P, a makeup instructor at the school. I learned soo much from taking her class, not only about makeup but as well as the business side of makeup for those looking to start a career. Paje is a multi business businesswoman with a successful bridal makeup business so being able to have her as a teacher and mentor is incredibly beneficial. Paje is very encouraging, helpful, knowledgeable and supportive definitely the best teacher I and those who have had the honour to be able to learn from her have had. Being able to continue learning from any teacher after the program has ended is such a blessing and I’m so grateful that Paje is always available for advice or tips and that she cares about how her students are and how they’re progressing after taking her class. I highly recommend anyone who is able to do so take a class with Paje. So grateful she was such an amazing teacher at the International Beauty Institute in Hamilton.

I absolutely loved attending the lift and tint course at IBI today! It was super inviting and friendly from the moment I walked through the door! Sofia my instructor was amazing! I was super nervous at first as I didn’t know what to expect but once we started chatting it was easy to warm up to her and I had such a fun time getting to learn by her side. She is very knowledgeable in what she does and gives me big hopes that with time and practice I will get there also! Looking forward to coming back and completing the Eyelash Extensions course in the near future

I recently took a skin care course at IBI and had the most amazing teacher named Bri, words cant explain how wonderful and educated she is to be teaching this class, I learned so much in such a short period of time and none of this would've been possible without her guidance, I will miss her so much, so if you're ever thinking of taking this course you know who to ask for.

The teachers them selves are great my brow teacher was out of this world such a good experience so I booked another course it got pushed back for a few month so I canceled and ended up going elsewhere requesting a refund couldn’t get it so I booked another course so I wouldn’t lose my money which was put on hold again due to COVID so I went elsewhere for that as well so I lost out on the money which I now can’t get back

I am currently in progress of the Medical Aesthetics program. Staff and instructors are very professional, personable and always available to give advise. I find the overall campus dynamic to be warm and welcoming, especially the positive encouragement from instructors making for an enjoyable learning experience. Also to note, I am very impressed with the impeccable cleanliness, and strict protocols in maintenance of the current restrictions.
In addition, my classmates are super cool and friendly. I highly recommend IBI to be your school of choice if you are looking for a positive, fun and rewarding environment.:) :) :) :) :)

I'm really enjoying medical aesthetician course at present in IBI. It's very well oragnised, the theory has a lot of detailed information to help prepare for the hands on practicals really set you up to succeed! The learning aspect of it was made fun. The instructors are all super nice, friendly, professional, very informative, and are able to answer questions thrown at them. I would definately recommend the school because of its positive environment and amazing teachers (love all of them)! You leave with a great feeling of accomplishment & understanding.

I am currently attending International Beauty Institute for the Makeup Pro Diploma course and my experience has been amazing so far. My instructor Jenn is just as kind and patient as she is knowledgeable on different makeup styles and techniques. I have been doing makeup for years and consider myself to be pretty knowledgeable, but this course has proved that there is always room to learn and improve. The facility is incredibly clean and organized and the faculty are all very welcoming and kind. I look forward to finishing this course and am confident that the knowledge I gain will advance me in my future career.

I absolutely love attending the International Beauty Institute! My experience so far has been wonderful, great staff & amazing teachers like Jenn! She keeps class entertaining and very fun for sure! Also, smaller class sizes are a huge plus, allowing for lots of one on one learning. I have picked up more in the first few weeks of my course then I have over years learning on my own. Definitely a great pick if you're looking for an amazing beauty school!

International beauty has been extremely helpful for myself as an artist and having jenn as my makeup instructor makes things even more fun.she is the most understanding bubbly person i have ever come across.international beauty institute is very diverse and teaches you all the different types of makeup as well as many different techniques you can adapt to.everything we learn here is going to be very helpful for us as future makeup artist and i couldn’t have made a better decision by being part of this wonderful school

I have just been certified by the international beauty institute in Brow shaping, tinting, waxing and lamination. My instructor was Sophia, and my class with her was insightful, educational, above all, a truly enjoyable experience. I become nervous executing new things under supervision - because I am a perfectionist and am hard on myself - but she encouraged me to refine my skills, and made me feel comfortable. Because of this course, I feel prepared to work on more clients. The before and after results of my work reflect this. Thank you again to Sophia for your outstanding support and training.

This course was completely out of my comfort zone. I had very low confidence coming into the program. Jackie and Angela were amazing instructors. They care about their students and really prepare you to do your best. I have graduated with honors and am now running my own salon! It's great to see myself and my fellow classmates succeeding in the industry! Such a fun exciting chapter in my life and I'm so happy I picked the beauty institute to guide me to success!

I am currently taking the Makeup Artist Diploma and I can honestly say I am happy to be at IBI. Jenn is a great teacher and she is passionate about her work. It really shows in how she is invested in making sure that all her students keep pushing themselves to become better artists. I am happy that I came all the way from Ottawa to attend IBI. I attended the certified makeup artist program at International Beauty Institute for the part time weekend classes.

My teacher Sofia was absolutely incredible! She was very professional, but provided a relaxed and comfortable learning environment.

She believed (and still believes) in me more than I believed in myself and gave me a lot of confidence that id never had before.

There was so much value from this class. I was self taught and had more to learn than I thought I did.

Highly recommend this course, especially if you are fortunate enough to have Sofia as your instructor!

Such a wonderful experience and an exceptional instructor! I was lucky enough to get an amazing teacher for the Makeup Diploma program at the International Beauty Institute Hamilton Canpus. Paje Pokjowy taught and guided us through the program with insightful tips, tricks and knowledge of not only makeup but the business side of the course as well. I learned so much and I’m so grateful that she was able to give me such a wonderful experience. Savvy business woman, great teacher and amazing mentor. Wonderful experience. I started out as a model for Andrea Cicconi and was very comfortable and confident in her. She made me feel very relaxed, since then I have been back for many services and will continue with many more. I have recommended my friends there as well and they are also pleased with services and cleanliness, and professionalism.well done guys keep up the great work.

Today I completed the Eyelash Extension course. I was very anxious and nervous to try something out of my comfort level. However my instruct Sofia made the overall experience pleasant, enjoyable and easy to follow with her clear instructions. She has extreme patience and can guide and teach effortlessly. Highly recommend this course! When you do take it, make sure to ask for Sofia’s class.

Finished day 1 of the lash extension tech with Soph. So far very pleased with the class. She was very encouraging and helpful. It was the 1st Time being at the institute and everyone was welcoming from the time I walked in. I’m glad I picked this place after doing all my research on classes.

As soon as I entered the facility I was treated with such professionalism. The instructor went above and beyond in and after class to make sure that we all not only learned but also enjoyed the experience.

What an awesome place of education and professionalism. I went to get my nails done when they were asking if clients wanted to be used to help teach students different techniques and procedures. It was actually quite pleasant, the instructor Ashley M.was warm, inviting, kind, gentle and knew her stuff.
From a client point of view, the room and office is nice and clean. The staff and students dress professionally. The interaction between the staff and students is wonderful! If they have a question they have the answers and they'll rephrase it in different ways so that any students that need clarification. The instructor and students always check on me and asked if i was ok.

I would absolutely recommend their services for a person looking to get procedures done, weather its manicures, laser hair removal, facials etc.

I’m in the medical aesthetics program at the Hamilton campus and I absolutely love it! Everyone from administration, instructors to class mates make me feel so welcomed. Everyone treats you with respect here. All the instructors are very thorough with making sure you achieve greatness and they’re by your side every step of the way to help you with anything!

I have called a few times inquiring about courses. I spoke to 2 girls, one by the name of Nina, and the other was Christine. They both were very helpful, patient, and sweet on the phone. They gave me all the information I need to be able to register. Looking forward to my tour!

Attending the Makeup Certificate program, was a wonderful experience. I definitely recommend having Sofia (she’s an incredible instructor!). Sofia will share her techniques that you usually don’t see on YouTube videos nor hear many professionals share. It’s a great class. Sofia has a beautiful personality, and will always try her absolute best to support you. She very honest with her work, which always supported me to improve my makeup game!
