I called the Barrie store for a service technician to come to my house as I have a brand new tub that wouldn’t power up. Elmer, the technician called me and came out quickly. Assessed the problem right away to an electricians wrong hookup. Repaired and running right away. Then he helped me with startup and balance. Awesome service

We purchased a new Coast Spa hot tub from International Pool and Spa. After delivery, we visited the Barrie store with additional questions about chemicals and the general operation of the hot tub. The manager, instead of just giving us information, sent out a technician to show us what we needed to know. Elmer, the technician, was very friendly, patient and knowledgeable. He answered all our questions and made great suggestions that we would not have thought of. He spent as much time as necessary to help us understand and he did not make us feel rushed. Elmer cares about his customers and wants to make sure that they are happy and feel taken care of. He explains concepts in an easy to understand way. He is an asset to the company.

Elmer came to install the cover lift kit on our hot tub. It required alterations to fit. He arrived on time and did an excellent job. His work was professionally done and he cleaned up fully.

I went into International pool & spa last weekend a little stressed out as my pool was neon green! My husband was out of town ans he usually looks after the pool business. Emma was working and she was soooo helpful. Pleasant and informative. I have been back 3 times this week not because my pool is still green- just to get other things. Emma you are a pleasure to deal with! Thank you for the great service.

Omgosh. I'm so happy with this company, they don't just advertise and sell you products, they live up to their promises. I bought this hotub 2 wks agoand they delivered within their specified day and the guys who helped set it all up were very knowledgeable and very swift and answered any questions to the best of their knowledge, so friendly and helpful which again was apart of this process.
I want to give a huge tremendous shout out to coast spas of barrie. An issue happened not by our fault but stuff happens right. So to rectify the situation they actually upgraded our spa to an elite spa. It's like winning the lottery. Laura thankyou very much for your patience. If you remember me.lol.
To top that they also had it here by 930 am the said day. Wow. I've talked to so many tub owners that have been waiting for their hotubs from another company for mths. The big thing for us was getting it here in good time. And they did.

We bought a spa from International in October 2021 and we are so happy with our new tub. We use it daily. During the very cold weather, something happened and one of the lines started leaking. I called International and they had Elmer one of their service technicians come out the next day. Elmer was fantastic! He was so kind and fixed the problem that day. He even helped me figure out an issue that I was having with the music. Elmer followed up a few days later just to check that everything was working with the tub. Thank you Elmer and International for the great customer service!

This is our 3rd major purchase from Vince and his awesome team. The team there is extremely knowledgeable and very accomadating. Would not go anywhere else to purchase a spa. This team is not afraid of a tough install either. Cant wait to jump in, in a few months of course.lol Thank you Vince, Karen, Elmyer and Lara for making this happen.

Had a great experience with International Pools and Spas. Elmer was quick to come to a service call, very knowledgeable about his work and incredibly thorough and detail oriented. Have been a long time customer with the Barrie location and I am never disappointed with the customer service. Prices are great and quality is exceptional.

I recently purchased a spa with this location and my experience has been absolutely perfect. The spa was delivered within the original ETA and the process was seamless. I am blown away by the customer service I received especially during these difficult times. I will definitely be recommending International to all my colleagues and friends.

This has been the worst experience ever. They don't gaurantee any of their products. Bought a new hot tub cost me over $10,000 and when it came in there was a crack. After so many months they finally came to "fix" it. It's even worse they filled my hot tub with debris and fibre glass. No one wants to help or fix all their mistakes. HORRIBLE, INCONSIDERATE, DISGUSTING EMPLOYEES AND SERVICE DESPICABLE PEOPLE

I would like to say what a wonderful experience we have had with International Pool and Spa. Our sales agent, Liam was amazing and took the time to address all our questions. Karyn in the office has been terrific and has been there for all of our needs. Finally, Elmer, their service tech. What a wonderful person, he truly takes pride in not only his work but also made sure that we were satisfied. This is the only Pool and Spa company I would use in Barrie.

We can not say enough good things about our dealings with Liam. On every occasion that we saw Liam in person or over the phone, (which were several times) he was very professional, polite, and extremely courteous. A situation arose and within 24 hours Liam was able to come up with a solution that solved our problem. I would fully recommend Liam to those that are looking to purchase a swimming pool or hot tub.

Had an issue during the delivery. When delivery guys putted hot tub they broke the screen. Its took some time for a new screen to come but the head office as well as Karen from Barrie store helped a lot. Repair guy was very professional and did all very quickly and perfectly. We enjoying our hot tub

The service tech (Almar) came fast and effectively. His knowledge and schooling of pool and spa maintenance is top notch. Ive learn more in 15 minutes with him than i did in a four hour class. Very professional and experienced.

We bought our Signature spa Nov 2018. When we went to view models in the showroom, we were given a wonderful tour and the staff were very friendly and seemed knowledgeable. Financing was approved on the spot and we left with our contract and instructions to watch our email/wait for a phone call to set up payment details with the financing company. When the financing company failed to contact us within a few days, Karyn was quick to reach out and get them on track. We couldn’t schedule delivery until payment was arranged so this was important. Once payment details were firmed up, the spa was delivered roughly 4 weeks later.a week late, it was close to Xmas, so we understood.

Upon arrival the delivery crew strapped the spa onto a trolley and maneuvered down a path I had cleared in the snow to the gazebo in our back yard. They unstrapped the spa and proceeded to drop it.literally! They dropped the spa right on one of the employees heads and directly on its corner, breaking the side panel, (and from the looks of it, giving the one employee a concussion [we have a video recording of this happening]).

We called Karyn and she made arrangements for a repair tech to come out and inspect the spa. The tech arrived promptly within a few days and checked over the spa, turned it on and happily reported the damage was only cosmetic and they would place an order for a replacement panel. Fast forward to the end of February 2019, our payments had started being withdrawn and we have heard nothing back about the panel repair so we reached out to international again. They said they would call signature and see where the panel was.we spent the next 5 months calling and sending emails to which not reply was given. Then while we were out for a family hike in the woods we received a call that the repair tech was at our house waiting for us.we advised him that the side gate was unlocked and he could let himself into the yard to commence the repair as we were about 45min away. When we arrived home the tech was waiting and informed us that the replacement panel was itself broken and he would have to return with another. That was Aug 2019.

We had honestly forgotten about the panel after a while and a handful of inquiries into its whereabouts, then the spa just stopped working Jan 2020. We reset the breakers and were met with immediate tripping when the spa was engaged. We called international again and reported that the spa was inoperable. They assured us that it was still under warranty (2 years), and they would send a repair tech. We called back after a few weeks and they had no record of our previous call. We, once again requested a repair tech. After emptying the spa, it sat until March untouched.at which point I had enough.

Being an Aircraft Electronics Engineer (Avionics), I decided to undertake the repair myself. Upon removing the side panel, it became immediately obvious to me what the problem was. The broken (still broken from the delivery 15 months earlier) side panel allowed water into the space which housed the control panel and heater, which caused corrosion to bridge the copper contacts on the heater coil to the metal pipe which carried it. I brushed them off with a brass wire brush, applied some dielectric grease to protect them from repeating the same problem and flipped the access panel so the missing corner and crack were at the opposite end from the control panel.

It is now Jan 2021, I have never heard from signature OR international regarding the repair OR the replacement to the replacement panel. I have called, emailed, attended the store in person. Our 2 year warranty ended (I assume based from delivery date, not date of purchase) last week. We now just developed a failed water pump bearing and the tub is being emptied so that the pump may be removed and repaired or replaced. Chances are I will be handling the repair myself, but I will try reaching out to International and Signature one last time.

Regardless of their response, I CANNOT COMMENT ON THIER CUSTOMER SERVICE, BECAUSE I DIDN’T RECEIVED ANY.

My old beachcomber tub froze during the last cold snap, couldn’t find anybody to come and help me diagnose it, happily I contacted International Pools on Huronia Rd In Barrie. The service tech was able to come out the very next morning and quickly made the necessary Repair and got me up and running in no time! Very impressed- keep up the great work International!

I recently moved to Barrie into a house with a pool and needed to find a poolstore ASAP for closing chemicals. International Pools was perfect. They had the closing kits right up front and even had instruction sheets on how to close our pool down for the winter.

Just wanted to share we had been everythwhere in the area includung the GTA looking for a new tub, so happy we called International Pools in Barrie, and guess what, they had hot tubs avalaible for immediate delivery, so we snapped up a beautful NEW COAST SPA, so excited as we are getting it next week!

We love our new Catalina "Napa" hot tub, and could not be happier with the customer service we received from International Pool & Spa Centers Barrie. "Vince" exceeded our expectations on several occasions. When we bought our 18" above ground pool 5 years ago, we were impressed by how transparent, knowledgeable and helpful Vince and the staff were. Available at a moments notice, offering assistance, advise and even providing us with a free pool filter and pool vacuum when ours broke unexpectedly. Just recently, we bought our Catalina hot tub from Vince, and he exceeded our expectations again. No hard sales pitch, just friendly and trustworthy customer service. Vince was there every step of the way, educating us on the comforts, mechanics, costs and maintenance of our hot tub. Our hot tub came with stairs, extra chemicals and cleaning supplies to get us started. Also, I can't thank the delivery guys enough for delivering our hot tub. By no means was this an easy drop. There were several obstacles in the way, and even tough I opened up a space in our garage to store the hot tub until I could move it at a later date, the delivery guys still managed to find a way to deliver the hot tub in it's designated location. With a lot of muscle, finesse and elbow grease the delivery guys placed the hot tub on our landing space in the backyard without a scratch. I highly recommend International Pool & Spa Centers Barrie. They make me feel like a valued customer.

I was in the store today to purchase a pool pump. The staff were outstanding and willing to help. I would gladly return to do business here again in the future.

Horrible customer service!
I've been on this place several times and I felt that I'm bothering them. I don't know how they do business. I really don't.
I tried to get parts from them, but it seems that they aren't interested on selling parts.
When I was explaining what I need the answer, before I finish my question was NO, we don't have that part.
I asked in different ways to get an answer, and the person wasn't listening.until I show a peace of a specific part and another person show interest and guide me to comeback to talk to the manager.
My wife when back, but no luck.we have to figure things out our self.
I'll never came back to this place.

I showed up to the store at 9am, running some errands, didn't know what time they opened, 10am, to have a water test done. I didn't mind waiting as I was doing some other things and about 915 a young man came out to see what I was doing, told him just needed a water test and he took me right in a and helped me out. I was very appreciative that he took the time to help instead of making me wait until 10am. Excellent service, will continue to go to this location, just not so early, lol.

Was in a panic, my pool pump broke, big party this weekend, nobody else in town would help me, howeever 5 BIG STARS to Mr. Liam at International Pools- got my all the parts I needed, back up and running now!

I had a fantastic experience at international pool & spa. I dealt with Vince and he was very friendly and understood my budget. The pool was purchased and 7 days later it was built and ready to use.

Customer service needs to be improve. Being spoken down to isnt the best impression. Saying they are busy and can't meet demands; means its poorly managed. Customers shouldn't wait. Didn't feel welcomed or appreciated as a customer. If you buy u buy if not it doesn't matter. Ur business isn't needed as we are busy. I feel we were treated like that because a customer complained of the poor service they were given. Thier liner was damaged after it was installed by them. Shows that not only do they have horrible customer relation but the work quality isnt the best. Poor management. Unhappy workers. Rushed service. Not a good impression.

Poor Customer service! At the beginning of the spring season we realized that our pool had leaked so I went in to ask for someone to come and check out our pool. The person I spoke to said that they didn't do that, then a gentleman came downstairs and asked how he could help so I explained my situation and he gave me his card and said to call the following Monday and speak to Karen which I did. When I called and spoke to Karen she said it would be weeks before someone could come look at the pool, if there was even anyone available. I'm still waiting for a call back. My husband decided to take the pool apart (it's an in ground) looked for the part numbers and info and I went back to this place in desperation to see if they could help out. I spoke to a nice guy named Paul who referred me to Karen (since he was going to be off the following day) I called Karen to follow up with the information that I gave Paul and she said "we don't do that! You can email Wilbar International and give them your info and if they tell you to contact me well then we'll go from there. " It was my second interaction with Karen and at no point has she been helpful. I was incredibly disappointed and made to feel like she was doing me a favour by taking my phone call.

Just had to tell everyone in Pool Land, had a wonderful experience with Liam at International Pools, knew zero about the process, he made it too easy! Constuction crew at my house this morning already! Building me a New oval abouve ground pool- great work to ALL at International pools!

I called everywhere in town to get Pool pricing for this year, was so pleased with Liam at International, he invited me to visit with my kids, was blown away with the great selection price and quality, thanks for making my decison so easy Liam! My kids are so excited to swim!

I have an older tub, and have had some major problems with it, unforntunatley I can't afford a new one, nobody in Town would help me, and was not interested in fixing, luckily I heard about International Pools, I met with Liam who helped me immensley, and spent about an hour with me getting parts-very impressed with this Young man, and his patience
and knowledge-great job Liam! My old tub works great.
