Intrepid Medical Centre & Walk-In Clinic

DO NOT GO HERE. I’ve been coming here for a few years and I really like my family doctor, but the clinic is extremely disorganized. It’s a miracle if they pick up the phone. They’re always at least an hour behind on scheduled appointments. Will no longer be coming here as I have had to wait over an hour the past few times to see my family doctor that I had a scheduled appointment with.

Don’t waste your time. They will have you waiting 1 hour to be seen by the doctor. Walk-in are priority over patients that have appointments with family doctors. They say they are accepting new pts but never answer the phone respond to emails days later. Very disappointing. Better off at urgent care.

Their services are very bad. Receptionist told me that waiting time is 1 hour but it took me 3 hours to see doctor and at the end they did not even take my blood sample, she said my shift is over and I can't take blood sample.

Been coming here for several years with my family. The last few visits have been a negative experience for us. They dont treat 'scheduled' appointments a priority from my recent visits. We have had to wait 2 hours even though we had apppointments scheduled with our doctor. When we asked the new receptionist in the front, they told my wife the doctor is seeing walk ins and that we would be next. 1.5 hours after, we are still waiting.why even make appointments.no respect for anyones time.

Yesterday, We went to Intrepid Centre for the first time and we are very happy because of the services in this clinic, Especially "Priyanka" in the Lab Department, she helped us a lot and was very kind throughout the whole process. I wish her luck and also thank the hospital for providing very good services.

No use booking an appointment, you will have to wait for 1-2 hours. Dr sees walk-in in patience in between. What’s the point of booking an appointment if we have to wait so long?

Late last year I sign up to have Dr. Sadaf as my family doctor on my first visit I told her my health history and that I wanted to have some testing done just to know where things are at and also she would be better able to treat me going forward based on the results to my surprise when I got the results back I realized that she requested test for everything else except what I requested and on top of that I had to wait an extra 1 hour from my appointment time to see her and when I did she was so rushed she did not even take the time to properly discuss in detail my results but instead wrote me a prescription and several referral. I left her office so angry and I went to the front desk to have them give me a copy of my results and after confirming that they will email it to me to the email address they have on file just to find out several hours later when I called to say I didn’t get the email that they emailed my personal information to the wrong email address…. At this point I knew I had to start looking for a better medical facility. I could continue on and on but it’s just too much so I’ll just list a few other experiences below.

Dermatologist appointment - i was called less than an hour from my appointment to say he was not coming in……. No surprise knowing this place. I was rescheduled and was told I would be charged $100 if I did not show up…. Keep in mind these are the same people who cancelled less than an hour before my last appointment. On the day of my appointment I waited over an hour or more from my appointment time to see him who was very rushed, unpleasant & appears as if he really didn’t want to be there & after telling him my issues he pretty much told me that he would prescribe me something but isn’t sure if it will do much…. Are you kidding me?

2nd Doctor’s appointment to discuss new results - I got an email to book my appointment online to discuss my results after several attempts to book online it just would not work so I called the office to explain just for them to tell me that I am not able to book on line for Dr. Sadaf lol then tell why did they send me an emailed with instructions to do so? A few days before my appointment they called me and I was told that they would have to change the time because her working hours were different then a day before the already rescheduled appointment they called to tell me that I would need to change the time again because her hours are different……what? I was so mad I just cancelled my appointment and I now see a naturopathic doctor and visits walk in clinics because the service is way better.

My most pleasant experience was with the cardio team. Very professional, friendly, thorough, welcoming, knowledgeable and supportive staff.

The booking procedure is terrible. I’ve taken the day off work (losing my pay) 3 times since being a patient here and having my appointments cancelled less than 3 hours prior to the actual appointment.

I find it really funny when clinics have cancellation or no show penalties of up to $100 when the patient cannot make it (likely due to a good reason) but doctors and clinics don’t have any policies in place for patients who are also going out of their way to make appointments amidst their busy schedules.

It is very hard to find a family doctor these days, and I get that as a patient I should take what I get. But at the same time, I find it very unfair and one-sided.

I also find that the doctor is not really listening to your issues and instead puts you down for feeling unwell rather than hearing you out.

I get that everyone has their own things to deal with, but if you are a doctor you should at least have a basic level of compassion and care.

I got Dr. Sadaf as my family physician, after my previous Dr.went to retirement. Dr. Sadaf is a very caring person, and whole teams are nice especially the receptionist Mini and Sayma are very helpful. Good environment.

Honestly the worst experience i had in this clinic. Dr. Sadif was my family doctor with who i've never got a chance to see, whenever i booked an appointment with them mind you few minutes before the appointment they called me that she's not in. This happened few times even though i tried to walk in, they wouldn't accept walk in. Please don't waste your time with them.

Good but they ignored/forgot to add my MRI report to my file which delayed the docotr examination of the report (probably about 25 days). I asked to see a supervisor to complain but the receptionist told me that she was on vacation, I will definitelysend an official Email to complain and go meet the supervisor when she comes back. I hope that never happens again
On the bright side everyone is polite and I like my docotor and medical staff.
Would still recommend the place.just make sure your reports get through to the doctor

Absolutely annoying that they only answer their phones between 9am to 12pm! And if you call past 11: 30, they don’t even bother to answer their phones. They say they’ll transfer you to the voicemail box and then hang up!

All the receptionists, the nurses specially Saima, my doctor (Dr. Farah) they are all very professional. They really care about their patients and their well being. I highly recommend.

Horrible Reception and Staff - Never picks a call after 12pm and whenever we call there’s always hold for us and much more!

If you are looking for a pediatrician please look else where. Clinic doesn't follow appointments at all, even if you have an appointment you will be treated as walk-in. They are inconsiderate of your child's timing and point of making an appointment. You are just a number for them. Not even worth 1 star. Very disappointed with the appointment system multiple times. This review is after visiting more then 2 times and having same experience.

Excellent hospital in Brampton.all the staffs are really polite and transparent.very good front desk and laboratory services.

Priyanka lab technician Indian lady is super awesome. She did blood work and we didn't realize when she completed the blood work without any pain.

I have been coming to this clinic for a while now, Dr. Farah Siddiqi is super nice and her bedside manner is great. You'll be taken care of for sure. Also the lab techs Priyanka and Saima are both very kind and caring. Definitely a professional caring environment.

Been going here for a long time. Great staff, especially the lab Tech Saima and Dr. Poonah. Couldn't ask for better quality of care

Needed a walk in clinic for child, the receptionist was kind, helpful and accommodating over the phone. The doctor saw us within the time slot given. The Doctor and Nurse both were very helpful and soothing. Child had an ear situation and they calmly investigated the issue and tried their best to perform the required treatment. Thankfully, it helped us in good time. A pleasant experience. The facility is spacious with a pharmacy within as well. It is relatively new. The list of doctors are familiar and well known. They are a family medicine and walk in clinic. Located on Mississauga Rd, parking is available within the Plaza easily.

We love this centre. Everything to speak about it is really nice. From the front desk to all the attendants to the doctors. We have been to dr Poonah and dr Noah and we are very happy.
Not to mention the warm welcome we always get from staff especially Priyanka and Saima.

I am impressed with the professionalism that the Intrepid Medical Centre show. One of the best clinics that i have ever been to. Lab technician Saima is one of the most serene and angelic person I have ever met. She took my blood samples and gave me tetanus injection as suggested by the doctor. I dint experience any pain for the first time. I am in love with the way how she treats and respects the patients. Thank You so much guys for providing ur valuable services to the public. You guys are amazing.

This is an amazing clinic. I appreciate the great service and quiality of health care privided by this facility. The waiting time for my appointment is minimun. I'm very happy with the service I receive from the reception and doctors. I always get a text to remind me of my upcoming appointments.

From the 1st day, Saima made me feel like at home at the clinic. She shows that she cares for my well being and provides an amazing service.   She's always smiling and  she's very kind and respectful.

I had a blood work done 1 week ago, calling to clinic to get results, their doc is working from home, calling from no called id number, and not even trying to call back when u cant reach pt, what kind of service is this? Are u kidding me, i m waiting since morning to speak with a doc and they are not calling from reguslr number, on which number i should call back? Its just a routine blood work, comee onnnn. In this covid they are forcing me to go to clinic and get result,? Really? If u can give your email then it will be easier for me. N yes i ll change my doc for sure.

Dr. Poonah is amazing, extremely nice and thorough. Appreciate the great service and qualify of healthcare being provided by this facility.

The staff is friendly no doubt but that's about it. The doctor is always in a hurry, to listen to you, never bothers to explain what's going on with you, what the problem is or what to expect next, nothing! So unprofessional. They tell you they'll call you with blood work results etc, THAT NEVER HAPPENS! You wait and wait till you decide to give them a call, (that to before 12, because after that they don't pick up the phone!) and book a phone consultation, and guess what you're glued to your phone waiting for that call but they never call! So frustrating! No respect for their patients time. If you want to feel cared for, this is not the place to go.

Beautiful and organized clinic. Dr. Poonah is such a kind and attentive doctor. All the staff are super friendly and professional! Glad I could switch to this clinic.

Excellent and very welcoming medical centre. The doctors and pharmacists are experienced, humble and friendly. They also have very kind staff members. They all go out of their way for their patients. I would definitely recommend Intrepid Medical Centre to everyone!

This place has no respect for your time.ie twice my wife has had an appointment at 9: 30 am and the doctor doesn’t take her until 10: 45 am. The staff is also just as clueless as the doctors. Do yourself a favour and go to the ER at the hospital you will get served faster

Great facility and knowledgeable physician. Love the fact that there are many other services available in the building to take care of your overall health, convenient!

The service is quite horrible. Making an appointment means absolutely nothing because you still have to wait in line with the rest of the walk ins. If that’s not bad enough, they’ll call you a day before your appointment to cancel it altogether. During your physicals they don’t even do a blood test, you have book another appointment later to go back in and request it from the doctor.
