The webpage is utterly confusing. I thought I was paying the taxes I owed, instead I was paying 140 dollars for something called deluxe and state taxes. I didn’t use anything called deluxe.

Tried to call customer service and spoke to a robot running me in circles for 20 minutes. The robot finally leads me to a rerun webpage.

Fill that out, get a response saying they don’t do refunds for filing through the webpage, only if you got a CD. Do they even sell these anymore? The vast majority of your clientele are going to be using the webpage, this is a very sleazy move. Also there were no options to say ‘no I don’t want this product’ before being sent to pay.

Still can’t get in touch with anyone, still can’t get my money back for something I didn’t use. This platform’s been nose diving for years and they have officially lost my business.

These folks are scoundrels. Read up on them. They have paid lobbyists handsomely to make sure that it’s difficult for people to file their taxes for free, all the while maintaining a strong web presence that falsely leads people to believe that is the case. A corrupt monopolist. Thankfully there are finally a few good free alternatives out there. I’m so happy to abandon you, you have no idea. Check out your options, there are some good ones and let these greedy, misleading hounds chase other prey.

I am writing to express my deep dissatisfaction and frustration with the quality of services provided by QuickBooks and the behavior of your staff and representatives. I recently subscribed to QuickBooks services and utilized them for less than two months. During this brief period, I experienced significant financial losses and even lost a valuable client as a result of the incompetence and lack of accountability exhibited by your team.

I am appalled by the fact that QuickBooks refuses to take responsibility for the mistakes made by your staff and agents. Instead, your representatives have consistently shifted the blame onto me, accusing me of not following directions or misinterpreting instructions. Such behavior is not only unprofessional but also displays a complete disregard for customer satisfaction and support.

One of the major issues I encountered was the misleading information provided by your employees. On multiple occasions, I was given incorrect guidance and directions, leading to further confusion and financial loss on my part. It is evident that your employees lack proper training and knowledge, as their incompetence has had severe consequences for my business.

Furthermore, the lack of accountability within your organization is deeply concerning. Instead of rectifying the mistakes made by your staff, I have been subjected to further inconvenience and financial burdens. As a customer, I expect the company to address and rectify the issues caused by its employees promptly. However, QuickBooks has failed to fulfill this basic obligation.

To summarize my grievances:

Financial loss: The errors made by your staff and agents have resulted in significant monetary losses for my business.

Lost client: Due to the mistakes and misleading information provided by your team, I lost a valuable client, which has had a negative impact on my business's reputation and bottom line.

Lack of responsibility: QuickBooks has consistently refused to take responsibility for the mistakes made by your employees, shifting the blame onto me instead.

Incompetent staff: The employees representing QuickBooks have demonstrated a lack of training, knowledge, and professionalism, which has contributed to the issues I have encountered.

I demand immediate resolution of these matters and appropriate compensation for the financial losses I have incurred as a result of QuickBooks' failures. I expect QuickBooks to review its customer service procedures, invest in adequate training for employees, and take steps to prevent similar incidents from occurring in the future.

If my concerns are not addressed promptly and effectively, I will have no choice but to escalate this matter further by seeking legal remedies and sharing my negative experience with QuickBooks on various online platforms and social media channels.

QB is the worst. Literally use anything else. We are so dissatisfied. And the support team just copy and paste from the questions page. I can read. If the many issues could be answered that easily, we wouldn’t be contacting customer “ support “

I have been using Intuit for years for my personal taxes and it's usually fine. This year, it was very confusing and made some mistakes. Now I have overpaid on my taxes as well. Tried to call the help line while doing taxes and just got turned around in a circle. Bad experience!

Scam company refusing refunds because I cancelled my subscription. I am not going to let this slide and will be following up with legal action.

I was charged for a subscription starting 1/5/2022 -2/5/2022 when I cancelled my subscription on 1/4/2022

Why would they charge me for next months subscription a day before it even starts and as soon as I cancel my membership? Something fishy going on here.

I will be letting everyone I know to stay far and wide from intuit.

Intuit Canada is the worst company I have ever worked with, worst customer service, worst platform, most expensive accounting service, when things go wrong, no one is there to fix it. No accountability for their extreme incompetence. Save your money, and aggravation and go elsewhere, go anywhere except quick-books.

Have used Quickbooks Premier desktop for 20 years and never had an issue. Last week got an error saying I was at my 14,500 limit. Called Quickbooks and was told I had to moved to online. Did not really want to but there seemed to be no choice. Spent 5 hours on the phone last Thursday was told there was an error and that the "Tech Team would fix this and them migrate the and would have this back is 1-3 business days. I cannot get an answer.

Any company who’s contact email is a “noreply@” should be a huge red flag. Intuit charges you to file taxes… which is a scam and then runs away from any sort of responsibility when you need assistance. Go elsewhere for any financial needs

Received an email from Quickbooks for an invoice made out to me and it appears to be a scam. I reached out to the Quickbooks security team and haven't heard back. I don't understand why this is not a concern, considering that they should be liable for any emails coming from their name.

They literally stole my $4345 by holding it and it's been 3 months I am calling and getting promises like "within 24 to 48 hours your will get our representative's call" and your fund will be sent back to your account. I am going to ask all my team to leave a negative review in this account until this issue is resolved.

Terrible service agent that are very disconnected from the QBO suite. Will lock your funds due to their own errors and try to blame it on you. Do not use Merchant Services Canada.

The worst software and experience I've ever seen in my life. Amanda at "Audit Defence" Canada didn't know how to send in my expense receipts over the course of 4 months and she had a "Senior" title. Would hate to see anyone really have to rely on these clowns. Intuit my dog could build a better Angular App. I can't log out half the time. It also seems the employees like Amanda are also having issues and don't seem to know how to use their own software. It really says a lot about a "Software Company"

STILL NO HELP EVEN AFTER THEY replied to this review and said they could help.

Although the programs may work well SERVICE IS A NIGHTMARE! I am trying to find out if it is even possible to migrate only my visa register from my quickbooks desktop to my online account. After 3 separate conversations with QB online and them telling me it is a QB DESKTOP issue and I have to call support there, I called Desktop support. After the person who I spoke to asked me to clarify THREE times what I wanted to do and repeated something different to me each time, she looked up my desktop license number and came back and told me I already had an online acct and I needed to call online and said she would transfer me. I told her not to transfer me, and explained AGAIN what I needed and that this was not an ONLINE support issue.she repeated that she was sending me back to online, I asked her to give me her supervisor or somebody who knew what they were doing at desktop and she hung up on me by sending me to online.who has now sent me BACK to desktop who now has me in a chat with data services! THIS IS RIDICULOUS! Nobody from either knows anything about the other. WORST SERVICE EVER.

AFTER LEAVING THIS REVIEW, they contacted me and said to reach out and they would help, STILL NO HELP, STILL NO HELP!

This is one of the most dysfunctional companies to exist or ever to have existed and the only reason anyone would know this is because Quickbooks products are among the least functional programs to exist or to ever have existed.

Getting support is a Kafkaesque quagmire of bureaucracy leading to support agents with a patience matched only by exhausted, hungry, petulant toddlers, if those toddlers had also been lobotomized then partially automated by a bot also designed by Intuit.

Absolutely ridiculous program…. Could not even load the already downloaded info from CRA. And now I keep getting emails to ‘complete my tax return’ when your telephone ‘helper’ didn’t help and I took my extremely simple taxes to a local company, learned many others having same issues with a turbotax. Close your company and reboot later…. Stop annoying people and wasting our time with terrible service.

I have used Intuit TurboTax for many years, initially without any problems. During the past several years, however, there’ve been repeated problems. And whenever I’ve contacted customer support, the experience has been terrible. Either it takes seemingly forever to get a clear, workable response, or the help is useless. Earlier today, for example, I called about an issue. The person who answered the phone told me she had to speak with her supervisor about my issue. Not just once, but several times. In this manner, I first got one answer, then another from the one with whom I was speaking. With respect to the latter answer, I was told, “Try it to see if it works. ” When I then asked to speak with the supervisor directly, I was told that supervisors don’t speak to customers. A moment later, I was disconnected.

Have use Turbotax for years, but this year is all about the cost for every little thing. Getting $40.00 back this year, but had to pay $45.18 to netfile because we had repoted medical and donation ($50.00) so it not for free just very basic returns this year.: (And software is harder to use

I specifically disabled using quickbooks online from acting as a payment processor in my general settings, yet somehow you managed to install a switch allowing payment by credit card as a default on every invoice. This is sneaky and since we no longer accept credit car payments - one client payment went to a dead account and now QBO is charging ME an NSF when I never would have knowingly allowed a payment by credit card against an invoice in the first place! Brutal - and now you make it next to impossible to connect with customer service which leaves me little opportunity but to comment here.

As a business owner, I have been with QB for more than ten years, Spend over two thousand dollars on the QuickBooks premier and got the license paid off in Feb 2021, which gave no information on anything, and year later, because of the poor design of the product, reached the item limit this morning, they could do nothing but forced us to purchase the QB Enterprise, which cost $400 per month. Poor service, lazy customer service team and technical support team. Be careful when you need to purchase, better know your thing before expecting any knowledge from them.

Contacted customer service several
times to solve my problems, but just back to me that they were not solving any problem after two months later (forgot the specific date). I was thinking if our business had stopped and wait for you to solve problems after 2 months. That is ridiculous. Their price raise up, but the service and technology drop down. Now every time I save entry has to wait for loading. Most time have to refresh links. Plan to switch to other software.

Longtime user and ProAdvisor would no longer recommend using QBO or desktop. Their customer service is atrocious even at high levels. The arrogance and incompetence is unbelievable.

Very poor account management services. I have been a customer and pro-advisor for many years. My experience with account managers has been very good for most of those years. Now it appears there is a new system that is basically designed to eliminate desktop subscribers. Very disappointed. Will not be recommending QuickBooks to my clients. There are lots of alternatives for accounting software now.

I've used both the Online and Desktop versions of Quickbooks for many years, while working as an employee and now as a business owner. (Over 17 years now)
I recommend Quickbooks to all my clients and use the software for all my bookkeeping needs.
I agree at times the phone support may take some time however, all my calls have always been answered and issues resolved the first time.
I would recommend the software to anyone without hesitation.

Try Sage, try pen and paper, try anything else that doesn't involve dealing with Intuit. Quickbooks as software is alright, but you will be forced to deal with them on the phone at some point (mainly because they activate their software like it's the 1980's and you have to call a call center in India to verify your product code) and when you do, you will understand that any time saved with the software will be sacrificed on the phone while they try to upsell you on all their sub-par services. Recently they have increased the costs of their payroll service, even if you have purchased a year of subscription - meaning they will hold your books ransom until you pay the additional monthly costs, despite having an an annual agreement. For a large company, they operate like a small scam operation out of someone's garage.

The support calls keep going to somewhere abroad and the staff there don’t understand what is being said and they keep repeating your question again and again and keep putting you on hold each time for every question you ask.and after 10 minutes on the call we are still at ‘hello’. I have an urgent query which I have been calling in for 2 days. I have asked for a manager or someone local to help me but they are not able to direct me either.what kind of service is this for such a well known company! I would really appreciate the number of someone who can help!

Trying to charge subscription for purchased product and full time job dealing with customer service. Note Quickbooks Canada customer support centre is in the Philippines NOT in Canada.

We are a small business user of QB since 2015. We purchased our Desktop Pro outright through a reseller, without payroll. We would pay for a new version of QB when available. We added payroll only subscription in 2016 and paid it annually.
We were never advised in 2020 when it's renewal was due that we should have received a 75% discount since our business was hit hard due to COVID travel restrictions. It was an Intuit Canada customer service agent recently who advised that we should have been offered that discount. We paid the full renewal amount in 2020. Since we have no employess it is not worth paying for a 2021 payroll subscription, so we cancelled it's renewal. Now Intuit Canada is telling we have to pay for QB Desktop Pro subscription even after we have an outright purchased license purchased from an Intuit Canada reseller.
We have made six phone calls and spent more than 7 hours to Intuit Canada Customer service (who's call center is in the Philippines) in the last week alone. We have a case number that was escalated to management by their representative Gene.
They have still not resolved this issue nor called us back.

Undated August 3,2021 - Intuit Canada FB responded as well with our review in June 29,2021. We did receive the same day a call from Gene at customer service regarding our case, that management was still reviewing it. It has now been over 40 days since June 23,2021 with no resolution from management.

Contacted Quickbooks on how to solve a small issue before reconciliation of my month end and gave the rep access to our account. We were out by only $213 and after 2-3 hours and being told all had been fixed we discovered that we were now out by $18,000. Invoices that had been paid and entered months ago as paid were now showing as not paid. We were told a supervisor would call us the next day and now a week later still no phone call.

Spoke to another online rep and not only was she totally unprofessional and rude but she called my bookkeeper a liar and also questioned her abilities. My bookkeeper had enough hung up and walked out the door.

If I could give 0 stars I would.

I wish I didn't have to even put 1 star. Such poor customer service! All I wanted to do was change my password. After 2 phone calls and 2 account recovery submissions, nothing! And I mean nothing - no confirmation of my submissions even though they said that I would receive one. And I asked for a supervisor, and no you can't speak to one. And I waited on the line for a long time going through the stupid computer questions.
