IPPON RAMEN

Love the chicken karagi kale ramen and chicken katsu curry. Perfect place to visit when it's cold outside. Have been many times and will go again soon! I laughed. I cried. It was better than Cats.

Was very excited for Ippon Japanese Ramen to open. Greg was fantastic, very friendly and inviting. The food was delicious, as we got black and red knight ramen bowl with seaweed salad and Edamame as appetizers. Great place for post workout meal after the gym. As the food is made fresh everyday and filled with great ingredients. Definitely will come back again.

I cannot tell you how floored and grateful I am for the employees at Ippon ramen. I accidentally left my wallet at the restaurant. I hadn’t even noticed I had. One of the kind employee (never got his name) actually dropped it off at my house with a note! I cannot tell you how grateful I am. I will forever be thankful to them. And the food is amazing! They have a customer for life!

The food is really good! I’ve tried their spicy ramen, gyoza, and chicken donburi. And they’re all very yummy! Interior is very relaxing. The employees are also very friendly and hospitable ️

Ramen is good for the Durham region. It is Chinese owned and doesn't compare to the Japanese chains uptown like Konjiki or Sansotei, but if you live in the Durham region it's pretty much as good as you're gonna get.

Ordered Karage Ramen with pork broth and added black garlic oil. Putting the karage on the side is a great touch, some places put it on the bowl and ends up being not crispy by the end. Only 3 pieces of chicken though and came out pretty brown, so that could be better.

I love coming back here for ramen ️ the staff are always friendly and very accommodating, I've brought family and friends here. The Ramen is always delicious and flavorful! And for a fair price!

Went there today for the first time. Ordered take away tempura shrimp and steamed rice. Loved, loved, loved the shrimp! It was well seasoned, the colour and crunch was great! The streamed rice was overpriced for the size not worth more than $1.50 certainly not $3 each. It was also too soft. The website prices online doesn't match the in-store prices, spent more than I wanted for just a few items. Gotta try the ramen and gyoza next time then update this post!

Wonderful environment, never had a bad experience. I cannot wait to see the changes made to the restaurant next time I come.

This was our first time trying Ippon Ramen. Had it delivered - service was prompt, the broth was hot but we were underwhelmed overall. Broth for the beef and black ramen was fairly basic - lacked depth of flavour. Karaage donburri was also one note and tasted more like plain rice. We were hoping for more taste wise, especially given what we paid, however, the portions were generous.

Don’t be fooled by the other good reviews, that was our mistake. Ended up getting really sick because of undercooked chicken.

Wow! Brilliant! Ippon Ramen is such a hidden gem.great dining atmosphere, great food, great service, great staffs! Everything is great great great! My kid went to the washroom and got out to tell me, “mom, their washroom here is very privately cleaned! ” He sipped the Ippon roaster milk tea. “wow, it’s so nice, I like it.so smooth, the right level of sugary sweet, and the tea is not too strong, perfect for me. ” We enjoyed the ramen noodle, we enjoyed the potato cake, we enjoyed the bubble tea, and we enjoyed the cheesecake, and everything was just.perfect here! We will be back very soon and will be very often! I strongly recommend Ippon Ramen to my friends around Whitby and to the ones reading my review here, noodle lovers:) cheers!

This place is a gem, great food, great service, and overall a great time. This is definitely more on the casual side in terms of dining-in.

Amazing ramen. The broth is as well the food is very authentic and fresh. We've had both take out and sat in and it's always good. The servers are also super friendly and attentive. Highly recommend!

Wow.amazing! The food was soooo good. The service was the best I've experienced. Pretty much, whatever you want and how you want they can do. I highly recommend this place. So so so good.

Having moved to Whitby last year, I was desperate to find a new ramen place to go to. Little did I know this little noodle shop would become my GO-TO place. I've gone there right when it's open (11am) and later on in the evening. Their speedy service and friendly staff remain regardless the time of the day.

My usuals are sake and Black Knight at Ippon. They are delicious. I I know can count a yummy for my belly and wonderful friendly staff team. I've brought my sister and my little boy (7 yo) here. Both of them enjoyed thoroughly.

The price for the food has increased a bit since my last visit, that's the only thing.

I would HIGHLY recommend this ramen place who loves ramen!

Not a great dine-in experience. Staff aren’t overly very friendly (like they don’t want you there). Anime plays on one of the TVs and was not child friendly. I asked to turn it off when I saw a large monster starting to eat people though in repose a different anime was put on (we were the only ones there). Music also in the background which is irritating with a TV on full blast. Food is good.maybe stick to take out?

Had the beef ramen & banana bubble tea. Really good. Staff friendly and responsive. I’ll be going back really soon! Glad to find a good ramen spot in Whitby

The bone was really good and the noodles are very fresh. The young man serves are very patient and polite.

Amazing food, atmosphere and service. I had the mama spicy ramen with pork. The food was delicious. I highly recommend - the dessert was pretty good too.

This place is bottom of the barrel. These reviews r definitely not accurate. I never leave reviews but I just needed to for this place. Firstly, it’s not Japanese and the ramen is mediocre to say the least. Secondly, the waiter was out to lunch. He was so confused about life and couldn’t even take a proper order. I ordered a black night and asked if I could substitute the pork for beef and our waiter said yes. Then the bill came and they charged me for adding beef. I didn’t receive pork in my ramen but got charged for extra beef. How does this make any sense? After we told them, he went and spoke to the manager and came back to say we have to pay it. Like it makes no sense. U don’t give me pork and I asked if I can substitute, you say yes, then charge me. At least let me know or tell me to build my own. For $5.00 you make someone have a bad experience and u lose repeat business. Poor customer service and food.

The food was delicious but some of the staff was not very friendly. I had the ippon shoyu with extra eggs and pork. Really tasty

Visited multiple times. The food is consistently amazing. This is the only place where I finish the entire bowl. Staff is friendly and the atmosphere is perfect for ramen. They also have a mini arcade system you can ask to use, which is great for groups while waiting for the food.

Pretty tasty. The chashu slices are on the thinner side of things, but no other complaints from me.

Gonna have to come back for the super bowl challenge sometime.

The ramen was good. I ordered a passion fruit drink, I thought was yummy. Two of my friends also ordered a drink which they also enjoyed.

Very surprised to find this authentic and absolutely tasty establishment. Never thought a good ramen restaurant would be in this location! Ps they don’t use MSG!
