All groceries at one place. Love this place. Sometimes little crowded but don't mind.

Best south Asian grocery store. Halal meat is fresh and best! The store has a lot of variety from breads to fresh fruits and vegetables and daals rice and wheat. Visiting this store makes me nostalgic because it carries so many items from Pakistan.

The store is well-maintained and clean. The staff are very helpful and attentive. There’s ample parking spots in front of the store.

They have good variety of fresh vegetables, fruits, meat and chicken with reasonable prices. They also have good selection of frozen meat, vegetables and deli.

They offer halal meat at their butcher shop that is very popular.

Good place to get Indian items, especially meat products. Today I had a pleasant experience at the meat section by Irfan Ahmed, he asked my needs and did exactly what I wanted for cleaning and cutting.

With ample parking available and well stocked shelves, Iqbal has been a market leader in catering to the South Asian community. As a wholesaler in the GTA the end user only benefits and the customer traffic speaks for itself. Service has always been prompt and courteous.

One of the best places if you want any Halal or Pakistani food item. They have best meat in the area and all desi items are available there. I gave 4 stars because it is a little expensive.

I am really disappointed by the butcher shop I bought a whole goat and it was literally butchered. Meat was cut up really badly. I can’t explain the sloppiness of the person who cut the meat. Non of the meat pieces made sense once I got home. I’ve never experienced such a bad service.
Marrow bones were broken. Meat was cut unevenly. The chops were disintegrated in such way that it felt the blade was blunt and the meat was not cut but pulled apart. I found a piece of lung attached to a rib.
When I ordered the goat I told the guy who took my order to keep the goat feet separate but they were packed with the leg meat.
I had heard such amazing things about the other location. I was expecting exceptional butchery skills but once I got home and looked at that meat I literally felt like crying. I have lunch at my place and I am literally stuck with having to use this meat.
I also bought chicken and asked the butcher to cut it in to 12 prices. Even the chicken legs have not been cut from the joint and that means when I’ll be cooking the chicken the marrow will leak and mess up the taste and appearance of my dish
Please hire some experienced people at the butcher shop.
The rest of the store is amazing but the butchery is pathetic.

Fresh produce, meat and on very competitive prices. Wow, nice place for one stop for all of your grocery shopping and on top of that, open 365 days.

Everything is beautiful and well maintained but meat shop needs lots of improvement they are taking it very lightly because it's busy but soon they will standing free with a lousy service

One of the largest, if not THE largest, Pakistani grocery shops in Mississauga and maybe the entire GTA. They have a ton of variety both the local and the ethnic type. For instance, I think I noticed at least a dozen different varieties of honey alone (see pictures). They also have a restaurant (takeout only) on-site as well as a sweet shop and herbal medicine counter. You’ll also find a money transfer service on premises.

They get regular shipments of some ethnic / regional fruits and vegetables from Pakistan, which I’m sure will come in handy when it’s mango season in Pakistan.

In terms of shortcomings, I must say I was somewhat disappointed with the Halal Meat section. I visited near the end of the day and the meat in the display cabinets didn’t look very fresh.

Prices on most items are on par with other grocery shops, some being higher and some lower.

All in all, a good place to get most of your ethnic grocery.

Halal grocery store that opened the weekend before Christmas (2018). Much larger than their Thorncliffe location, with the feel of a large grocerer. The concept is similar to Adonis in that they have separate areas for desert (called Premium Sweets as a separate storefront) and hot meals (called Silverspoon).

There is a meat/butcherer section in the back, but the lineup and crowds reminded me of the Thorncliffe location (ie expect a lineup)

For those who like desi food, this place will appeal to you.

Nice location closer to highway and friendly staff. New location ambience is nice and has good variety of products. It also had silver spoon inside that’s a nice advantage.

1 -They put deep naan on flyer for 1.69, picked 3 packets and at the counter they argued it's for 2.69 as I picked whole wheat and flyer is for plain, I asked them where does it say on flyer that it is for plain, they apologize for not mentioning sale is only for plain naan but refused to honor sale price.
2 - No friendly disable parking, if you park close to entrance, staff insist to exit from a different door, which is at the other end of building, for disable it's an hassle to get back to his or her vehicle which is parked close to entrance door.

Its a biggest desi grocery store i have seen in canada.
I visited on 1st day. Was not that much crowed. Felt like home.
Service and atmosphere is friendly.
Wishing them all the success ahead.

Amazing place. You can see everyone making an extra effort for customer service and keeping it clean. Cooked food is also a bonus.
Halal meat section was the busiest. I guess they need more innovation to figure out how to make it faster?

Unfortunately, the butcher shop quality is not up to par with the Thorncliffe location.

We purchased chicken and when washed, there are many, many fragments of bones and shards that had to be picked out. I’m sorry, but I would not serve this chicken to anyone in case you get bone pieces in your mouth.

They should really improve on their butchery skills because in Mississauga there are many other better options for which they cut/clean/serve at a higher quality. I’m sure many people have come just for the name as we did!

It is an amazing place to find variety of food. I would have given it 5 stars, however the variety in meat was lacking. Otherwise they have wide variety of items that will cater to wide range of people. It is definitely a must to visit.it also has silver spoon and premium sweets for one stop shop. Although the other downfall is the aisle are too tight. Only 1 person with the trolley can go through the lane.

Disappointing. Expired produce (pre-packaged salad), poor red grapes and tangerines, poor meat selection, and a free for all at the checkout. A long way from the former Michael Angelo's. I'll stick with Longo's even though this place is walking distance.

I had wonderful experience at Iqbal Foods. The prices are very reasonable. They should have a location in Brampton as well.

So finally, don’t need to go Toronto. Long awaited, Iqbal food is in Mississauga.

Lot of parking outside (I really mean a lot of parking)

Very clean desi store.

Best halal meat.

Everything is fresh.

Good place for Pakistani and Indian groceries, probably largest Pakistani grocery store in GTA and of the largest stores in North America.

Haven't shopped there yet for groceries but have had their prepared food twice and it was great! The service was really nice, especially - the guy working there really tried his best to help me, letting me try a few things before I made my decision and explaining all the different dishes to me! Nice when people show some effort like that.

The shoppers bags quality is very poor.when I reached home all the bags were torn little or more, otherwise it is a big addition in retail business

Best halal store I must say.very clean, well organized, best quality products, great price and helpful employees.feeling lucky to have this store in my area. I am amazed by their huge collection of Bangladeshi food, snacks & specially fish. No more trip to Toronto for Desi things. Also they're have outlet of silver spoon & premium sweets.just hoping in future they are not going to compromise like other halal store with products, quality and price.
