I have been going to Iris Optometrists for over 15 years. The staff are very professional. They make you feel cared for and are respectful of your time. The office is in a great accessible location, the office space is modern, well lit and spacious. The product selection is great for all ages. I see Dr Beverley who is very caring and thorough in her work and recommendations. Highly recommend you try them out!

Bought a pair of glasses for $1,200 2.5 years ago and the lenses are "crazed" so it looks like you're looking through a cloud. Stopped in yesterday to see what they could do for me - absolutely nothing. Warranty is for a one year period. Crazing apparently happens around the two year+ mark. I now know why warranty is only for a 1 year period. No help whatsoever. My $1,200 glasses are garbage, can't use them anymore. I could have bought 4 or 5 pairs from Costco at that price. Never again.

Appointment was on time, the doctor was very friendly and thorough. Lense prices seem very high. I was shocked at the total price even with the discount they were offering. I think I will shop around and compare prices. I will return for my regular checkups.

I was on a mission looking for new frames and lenses for my son, not a client yet and the lady adjusted my glasses and replaced my nose pieces at no charge. Now this is great service!

At all stages of the appointment, the tests were explained thoroughly in layman's terms. Accommodations were made for my lack of insurance, (CARP enrollment for $150 credit). It was a totally satisfactory visit.

Dr. Beverly is a trusted professional: knowledgeable, informative, thoughtful and on top of every detail. She has curated an amazing team. We particularly love our Optician Nicole. She is bright, warm and engaging. She is dedicated to first rate work and has an amazing eye, but she will also always make you smile.

Admittedly I’m not a fan of these types of places! More of a personal issue regarding doctors, clinics and such. But immediately upon entry I was greeted by a glowing staff member, I believe her name was Nicole. Vibrant and outgoing, her disposition put me at ease and very quickly I felt comfortable and welcome. I rarely give reviews for visits to a business, especially in Barrie but I feel this particular interaction warranted recognition. Most certainly I would recommend iris optical to my friends and family and in fact my mother is a soon to be customer! Good work Iris Optical!

Took my son for his annual optometrist visit here, and we are so glad we found this location in Barrie. We are new here and I was looking for a place that would make my son feel comfortable, while also being forthcoming with information. The optometrist, Dr. Bowser, was amazing with my son, and he felt so at ease with her. The optician, Nicole, did an excellent job in making him feel comfortable, and was gentle with her examination of him. What I appreciated was that Nicole spoke directly with him, and explained to him everything she was doing, every step of the way, and he felt mighty important at that appointment. Will definitely be going back for our family appointments regularly.

Can only say great things about the staff at Iris Barrie. I have been a patient of Dr Beverly for a very long time, since before the office on Big Bay Point road. Nothing but faith in her ability and knowledge in eye health and care. All the staff are excellent, especially Erin, who as a contact lens specialist is honestly exceptional.

I had a great experience here! Loved the office atmosphere. They have a huge selections of frames, and the staff are very knowledgable and friendly! Nicole, Shreeki, and Tiffany helped me pick out a great pair of glasses and sunglasses - they made the entire process fun. Will definitely be coming back here for my next pair!

The whole staff is so friendly and helpful. I would definitely recommend going to Iris for your eye exam. The opticians are so knowledgeable and so up to date with technology. They can make a custom one of a kind frame which I thought was very cool.

I have worn glasses for literally 33 years and this was honestly the best experience I've ever had, and I've moved around a lot from smaller towns to major cities so I've been to a lot of different optometrists and opticians. The check up was thorough and everything was explained to me in a way that I could understand. They really listened to my concerns and when it came time to pick out frames, they 'got' what I was saying about my style and preferences. I ended up leaving with 3 pairs instead of 1, and they did not try to up-sell me. The whole staff was engaged and knowledgable and, I know this sounds crazy but, IT WAS FUN. Like, I had a great visit at the office. Plus, covid-protocols were in full effect so it was also safe. Highly recommended. If you need glasses or a check-up- go to IRIS Barrie.

Iris has amazing customer service. We always enjoy our visits with Dr Beverley as they she makes everyone feel comfortable and at home. I've been a patient of Iris Barrie for years now and I can't see myself having my eyes be taken care of by anyone other than them.
I am always greeted pleasantly by the receptionist or by one of the employees the moment I walk in. The doctors are amazing and I cannot say enough about them. Professional, very knowledgeable, so very friendly and great with children. They've been taking care of myself, my better half, my parents, nieces and my whole extended family for many years now.
The opticians are amazing! Always looking to help, very experienced, they go above and beyond answering all of my questions or when I'm asking for their opinion, and have made my transition of going from no glasses to glasses a great experience.
I recommend absolutely everyone to go to Iris and I definitely recommend you see them too.

Fabulous visit today to see Dr B at Iris. Brought my two and half year old for his first visit to the eye doctor and he was smiling the whole time. The entire staff were incredible with him and he couldn’t stop talking about being a pirate and learning how to clean his sunglasses all the way home. The glow in the dark stickers were the icing on the cake for him.for his Mum it was the seamless, fun, and easy experience that made it worthwhile.
