Unethical sales tactics. They'll come and fix your existing glasses right away to make you feel that they've already serviced you. Then after you buy the frames, they'll reveal the lenses that are twice as expensive as the frames from anywhere else. Do yourself a favor. If you get a Costco membership, and buy glasses from there, you would still come out on top.

Everything about my eye exam on this occasion, and eyeglass fittings previously, have been conducted professionally and with the highest quality technology and materials (as far I can tell!).

First time eye exam appt. Was pleasantly greeted by Darren and front reception, sorry but i didnt get her name. Darren was helpful and knowledgable in eye care and frame selection. Dr Angle was very pleasant and informative and thorough suring eye exam. Overall a great experience.

It was my first time at IRIS and it made me regret not coming here sooner. Everyone was patient, friendly, and polite from the moment I walked in the door.

The receptionist, Jan, was extremely nice and organized to direct me to where I needed to go. Richard, the optician, was very patient to do my eye tests and scans to have the best results. My optometrist, Daniela was extremely thorough with the review of my eye health, and explained everything even with all of my questions about the potential of laser eye surgery. Richard even did an adjustment for my glasses right before I left without any hesitation!

It just felt like everyone working there cared immensely about their job in providing the best eye care for their patients and customers. The direct billing was also very convenient. Overall, I felt very well taken care of and would not hesitate to continue using them for my eyes in the future!

I was visiting from out of town and booked an eye exam at IRIS. I was very impressed. I never had an exam as thorough as this one. I wish there was an IRIS in my city - Sault Ste. Marie.

I went to this location having no clue where to start. Staff was amazing and great at explaining things to me in a very basic way. I ended up getting blue Lens glasses because I sit at a computer all day.

Highly recommend going here.

I came to the store for a lense, they told me the very basic one cost $400, I asked is there any cheaper lense or sale, and they proundly said they even have $700 lense? Totally waste of time.

The price for the glass is ridiculous high. If you looking for a glass, go somewhere else. They even charge $15 for adjust glass which is usually free in all other stores.

Dr. Angle is an amazing optometrist, would recommend to friends and family. Very thorough and knowledgeable! Takes the time during exams to walk you through various changes or concerns; I have never felt rushed during an appointment. The rest of the staff at this location are fabulous as well - friendly and helpful.

We are new clients here and have started OrthoK lenses for my son who is 8 years old. I have been given good, comforting advice and am excited at the possibility of keeping his eyes healthy and strong. The optician, Richard, is friendly and obviously knowledgeable and has made us both feel comfortable with the process!

I originally went to Iris for their selection of glasses, and have stayed for their customer service. Once again, Darren was my hero today when I sat on my glasses and bent them beyond being able to wear them. With his usual professionalism, he put them right again. Thanks Darren!

I had a great experience at Iris on King St, Waterloo. I've been searching for a new optometrist after mine retired and I've found the perfect one for me. Dr. Daniela Bugescu is great; she explained things clearly, was thorough and super friendly. I was surprised at all the equipment available to check my eyes that helped me understand the health of my eyes. Last but not least, I must mention the other staff at the clinic, they too were super! I had a warm welcome and lots of help choosing the perfect glasses for me. There was no pressure which was nice, just easy going and friendly assistance. I highly recommend Iris for your glasses and wish you as much success as I had!

Great Service! Went in to purchase a new pair of glasses and they were extremely helpful when it came to choosing a pair that complimented my face perfectly. They have a great selection of brands and great prices. Would definitely recommend!

Fantastic experience. I just emailed for an appointment got it quickly for the next day. I had a thorough eye exam and then got my prescription lenses with all detailed and meticulous measurements. I brought my old frame for the new lenses but the frame accidentally got broken in the store. Darren told me no worries choose any frame you like from the store to replace it, free of charge! He is a true gentleman. I am very much satisfied with the service and will recommend it to every friend I see.

Very mixed feelings after purchasing my first pair of glasses. The people were friendly, but I was left with some heavy buyer's remorse. I was showed four different brands and no word was said about price differences until glasses were picked and sized and we were feeling on our way. That plus the fact that my repeated statements of needing heavy filters on my glasses for medical reasons seemed to not be taken seriously enough. I should have thanked them, taken the quote, and headed out the door! But I was feeling rushed and my little one was hungry and impatient. The blame lays on me and I will look elsewhere in the future.

I've been going to IRIS for years now and I am always more than pleased when I leave. There is consistent friendly service, a beautiful store with lots of selection, and a comfortable waiting area. Also, my 3 kids have been going yearly and they actually love going! They are treated so well by all the staff members, from the customer service representatives, to the doctors, to the opticians. Plus, they have great prices on glasses for kids, with an unbeatable warranty. Within the first year of buying my son's glasses, I've been able to replace them for free because they were scratched with no hassle, just excellent service. I'll definitely be going to IRIS for years to come!

Both times I headed in i was helped by Richard, who took the time to go through a plethora of options and help me find an exciting new look. The selection of frames they carry is immense and at varied price points. Additionally, I ended up getting my glass faster than initial predicted, which was a pleasant surprise.

Fantastic experience! The tests were completed quickly though thoroughly. My eyes did not get all confused and tired from all the long tests like I had in other places. Ultimately the prescription I got was bang on! It took me a few days to get used to my glasses (I'd never worn any before), but now I really really like them. I can see much more easily and my eyes don't get tired as easily! I have been busy all weekend long lowering my font sizes on my work and personal computers!
