Rude and disrespectful front desk. Just be a decent human being. Quite atrocious that people like that even have a job. Would be fired on the spot by most. The doctors are losing business because of the front staff. Maybe they should do something about it. But then again they probably don’t care. Makes sense why their reviews are so low.

Unfortunately awful management. I want to book appointment, but rude and unprofessional stuff made me feel frustrated. I call during working hours, but they never pick up. I ned to go to the clinic to book an appointment! And still they are very rude. Very disappointing!

Advertises as a walk-in clinic but I’ve gone there twice when I needed to see a doctor and was told they “weren’t taking walk-ins today”. Shouldn’t they say they *sometimes* or *might* take walk-ins so they don’t waste people’s time going there, only to be turned away?

Very knowledgeable doctor and very friendly staffs. Overall, we had a positive experience of walk-in clinic visit with no waiting time.

The clinic reviews are being affected all because of this European Receptionist and her methods of convincing people to hang up. As long as I’ve dealt with her I’ve received a negative attitude/responses/brush off.
I had an appointment yesterday with my family doctor who is excellent and always calls back if she is unable to make an appointment, however being a very busy day for her and myself, we both missed each other, however today I called back and after speaking to the European receptionist she indicted that all virtual slots are fully booked today and so I requested for tomorrow and she indicated that the Dr. Is also fully booked for all walk-in appointments tomorrow. I then requested to speak to one of the 2 Indian receptionists who take turns working at the reception with her and one of the 2 Indian receptionist who are both very pleasant, so very kindly booked me In for a virtual slot within the walk in time tomorrow which the European receptionist was unwilling to give me. Please escalate this matter to the Drs. Of this clinic whose reviews are being affected, these doctors are excellent, to also please check with other patients to enquire from them the types of experiences they have with her.

If i could give it a 0 star i would. I’ve been trying to make appointments with Dr. Antowan for MONTHS now with ongoing medical issues, yet with these new receptionists, they have no clue on what they’re doing. So terribly rude and inconsiderate, not willing to work around times with you at all, i’ve now ended up in the hospital TWICE because they fail to work with me and fail to have some simple respect…. You guys are a clinic, you’re supposed to help your patients not tell them they’re young and they can wait…not everyone can wait for months like you guys have made me do. My biggest regret is staying with this clinic, I’ve been with them for my entire life and it’s only gotten worse as i’ve grown older. This clinic needs to do better and hire better staff. If you want a clinic that ACTUALLY helps and WILL take time to see you, this isn’t the clinic for you.

Open on Sundays. Was able to find an appointment at 12 by walking in at 1030am. Doctor saw me promptly and i was able to get an x ray right away for a physical injury

I am editing my prior response to this clinic.
This is a doctor who I never spoke to before, and had left previously a disingenuous comment and review about her and the facility. My comment was made in a bad headspace and was a severe lapse of judgement. Dr Vora is very understanding after talking to her. It's not my place to state what they should and shouldn't order, and doctors have reasons for what they do. My comment had misinformation about OHIP and I take back everything I said about the clinic and especially Dr Vora.

If I could give them a zero, I would. My family has been seeing Dr Vora for almost 4 years now and not once have we had a good thing to say about our experience there. If anyone is looking through reviews to decide what medical clinic to go to, use this as a sign to just not come here

1. The receptionists:
As many other reviews agree, the receptionists are horrible. They’re rude and simply incompetent when it comes to even simple things such as booking a follow up appointment. They’ll book you for a 1: 30 appointment and call you on the day to say that the clinic actually closes at 1. I’ve dealt with multiple receptionists here with the exact same attitude. Incredibly unprofessional.

2. Dr Vora herself:
I cant speak on the doctors but boy do I have a lot to share about Dr Vora.
- my mother is a doctor and the amount of times dr Vora has dismissed her health concerns because “she’s a doctor and should know” is absurd. She’s incredibly condescending and does not show even an ounce of concern for her patients.
- her bizarre lectures on how us getting basic medical treatment such as even bloodwork “causes a burden on the government and will raise our taxes” is insane; even after typing this out, I can see how someone would think I made this up but I’ve heard this speech multiple times from her. If she cared about treating her patients as much as she cares about the government, maybe this review would be different.
- this is more of a general comment but she’s extremely rude and will treat you like you’re a burden.the amount of times I’ve been scared to share legitimate concerns due to her this her usual behaviour is simply not okay. I went to seek some help regarding an issue during high school, I was barely 17. Instead of providing me with any valuable help, Dr Vora felt it was appropriate to rant about how “students tend to fake anxiety to get school accommodations” and went on a rant about her children not getting high enough marks for med school… how this was relevant to a high schooler seeking help… I’ll never understand; that’s the kind of experience you’re guaranteed to have at this clinic.

This review sounds incredibly bitter and directed because we simply reached our final straw with Dr Vora and her staff this week. They called out my 14 year old sister for “being rude” when I was the one on the phone asking for the receptionist to give us the correct time for her next appointment as she was consistently messing it up. Again, if Dr Vora showed half as much concern towards her incompetent staff or her treatment towards her patients, maybe so many people wouldn’t leave reviews like this.

We will be looking for a new family doctor ASAP. Do yourself a favour and don’t come here if you’re seeking even the most basic care. There’s a pattern in the reviews for a reason even if we get a passive-aggressive reply from them claiming this to be a lie.

I always find the receptionist to be very friendly, they always pick up the phone and I am always able to get an appointment. It's actually amazing! I used to have my physician in Scarborough so for me this is a huge improvement. Dr. Vora always pays attention to my concerns. I feel well taken of here.

Dr. Dashti is a wonderful GP! And the staff are friendly and helpful when I need to make or cancel an appointment

Poor customer service. The physicians could not care less of the issues patients have. When I ask some questions it’s answers by yes and no and there is no attitude towards helping people. They just want to bill OHIP. I asked for a receipt for 8 months ago and they said it will take two months and after two months they said they don’t have it yet. I can’t trust this people anymore.

THE RECEPTIONIST IS HORRIBLE! I absolutely hate her, she has short black hair (Indian maybe) and I have never hated anyone more. She's EXTREMELY rude OVER THE PHONE AND IN PERSON! My doctor is not here but my grandma goes here and I will definitely be switching my grandmas family doctor office FAR FAR FAR from this place. The doctors are nice but don't want to hear your side of the story sometimes. BUT THE RECEPTIONIST IS HORRIBLE AND UNHUMAN AND DOES NOT BELONG IN CUSTOMER SERVICE!

Apparently this clinic takes advantage of covid situation. I also witnessed the rudeness of two receptionists who works weekdays. They both need to consult a psychiatrist. My concern is why the doctors don’t care.

There’s a new receptionist I guess! Very arrogant, doesn’t have any polite manner of speaking. Even if you are reminding patients if they forget to pick up their req forms you can say it politely and it’s all good. But instead she was arguing why I didn’t pick it up on time, which I had completely forgotten due to work stress. Wonder how she will talk to an Alzheimer’s patient.

The reception.need to be trained probably, since so many people already complain about the reception, I guess the doctor don't even care about it. Come on she was very rude.
Their reception 100% needs a proper training.

I think the receptionist here is extremely unfriendly at all. Every time I was visiting here, I felt that the receptionist had no patience to explain things with me and even on the phone. I am disappointed the receptionist’s costumer service and interpersonal interaction. However, doctors here are professional and nice. I agree that the receptionist need use a service training, PLEASE!

My husband cut his figure and we can’t stop bleeding. We stand at their front door and they just didn’t let us in because we don’t have appointment!

This doctor is accepting patients.
A telephone meet and greet will be scheduled.
The first question she asked:
“Are you born in Canada? ”
I refused to answer. It is not relevant.

I came 5 minutes before their stated opening time and they were closed/no one was there. Then the opening time came around and still, closed and no one was there. I waited 15 minutes past their opening time and tried calling their # a few times.still closed and no answer to the phone calls.

My daughter had momentarily fainted yesterday and I took her today (Suday) to iroquois ridge clinic as walk in, to check on her. My daughter was not taken care of at all. Dr. Vora adviced to go to our family doctor for a blood work. And when I asked why she is not making the blood work request herself, she insisted to book another appointment with her for a full check up on another day before she would order a blood work. It was a total wast of time today. I don't know why they accepted to see us today in the first place if they will not do anything anyways. And I have no idea what exactly my OHIP card was charged for cuz I got nothing done at all today.

If you come to this location please be sure to come in the most ingratiating and smiley faced manner possible, because if you so as much as tell the receptionist the wrong time, you will witness the most psychotic display of disrespect and poor decor you have experienced. If you make her aware that you do not need this sort of treatment from another human being, she will carelessly invite you to take it up with the doctor. I'd like to note that i saw her give 3 other patients the same treatment before me so I was lucky in the sense that I could brace myself.

Despite all this, which is enough to keep me far from this place, the Doctor was very nice, professional, and informed. Really a shame that she is doing herself such a disservice by having a receptionist that has no business in interpersonal interactions.

I have been coming to see Dr Antowan for 15 years now. I have been travelling from Guelph for the last 10. I keep asking myself if I should find a local doctor to save me the hassle of the 45 minute drive. The problem is. Dr Antowan has been AMAZING for me. Everytime I have an issue I have faith that Dr Antowan will help me. To this day, he has never let me down and has helped me with every issue I have come to see him with. It has been worth the drive, every time. I truly appreciate his expertise. He always listens and is thorough and patient. The least I can do in return for all his help is write this review. Thank you Dr Antowan for everything.

The service is very very slow. The doctors sit in the back chatting with other staff or eating while you wait in the room for them. The website says their hours but when you go there during the posted hours they tell you that it’s appointment only and then have to come back at a later time? ! It does not say that anywhere on website or in the clinic. The receptionists can use a little service training too. I only go here because it’s close but I will be looking for Another walk-in to go to. I’m sure I’ll get better, faster more efficient service.

The receptionist needs some serious training. She should also understand that doctors are meant for medical situations and service and this is not a business.

Horrible service. If you are out of province they won’t process payments themselves. Go to any other walk-in with competent staff.

Receptionists are incompetent and extremely rude.i’ve had a problem with them for years.i’m changing my family doctor because of them.
