Delicious fresh made halal Turkish cuisine. Nice setting but small and crowded on weekends. May need to reserve ahead. New nice patio.

The prices are going so high every year. Not worth it anymore. The new prices are not justified only greed. It’s sad that a restaurant would do this.

Disappointing Experience at Istanbul Kebab Restaurant
I recently visited Istanbul Kebab Restaurant with my family for dinner, opting for the family meal priced at $72. Unfortunately, the food we received differed significantly from what was described on the menu, and the portion size left much to be desired.
Upon expressing my dissatisfaction to the waiter, who was genuinely nice, the manager was called over. Despite explaining my concerns, the manager was unapologetic and unhelpful, stating that they had run out of shawarma without offering any resolution.
This experience was one of the worst I've encountered. While the restaurant itself may not be inherently bad, the manager's lack of customer-centric approach and refusal to address the issue left a sour taste. A simple discount or gesture could have salvaged the situation, but unfortunately, that opportunity was missed.
Visited on January 20th, 2024, at 9 pm.

Prices in the high range, but you get what you pay for. Clean place, good service and EXCELLENT food.

Food is delicious! Love their pides, cheese pide especially, and their babaganoush is perfect!

Wonderful hospitality, didn't have to wait very long for a table or the food. We started with the dip tray and their bread was fluffy and plentiful! Along came the Sucuk Pide, which was also very tasty, then Adana kebab with bulgur rice for those who appreciated a kick to their meal. It took a couple of moments for the Urfa Kebab, but wasn't any different than the Adana plate, it was just milder in spices. Nevertheless the experience was great and so was the service. Will drop by again!

Hummus tastes odd to be honest for a middle eastern place. Pides are amazing and kebabs are great too!

The dips aren’t that great to be honest, I suggest going with the main courses. The bread is also not fresh, maybe it was the time we came but it felt it had been sitting there for a while.

0 manners and extremely rude. They expect the customers to wait 25 minutes for a table but won’t wait for 2 mins for the customer to arrive. (Not even exaggerating, we had to go back from the door). Not even sorry, only arrogant.

Absolutely TERRIBLE customer service. Not welcoming at all. Their staff is ridiculously rude and I'm not the first one pointing this out. Read below. This isn't the first time we have experienced this behaviour from their staff. Especially the blonde host at the front door assigning tables. She has a stinky attitude. My family was there for a special occasion and she spoke to us very rudely when it came to drinks or ordering food and when we tried explaining her what we wanted she kept interrupting and kept saying yah I know I know what else? It was just an awful feeling thereafter once the food arrived we did not feel like eating it anymore and left within half hour. The cash register young girl was absolutely horrible as well when we wanted a desert and my son walked up to ask if we can get one because servers were busy. She told him to sit down he cant be standing up. Like what kind of a resteraunt does this? Stupid young kids with no sense of professionalism and barely can speak english who dont understand clear instructions. We will not be going there anymore and will advise my family and friends the same. We wasted our time and money there.

I have been here for almost 10 times. Every time I used to appreciate the food and the authonteicity of this place. Unfortunately, last weekend, our experience was horrible. I am sure there is a new managment.no one from the old staff.

My friend son has allergies from the eggs and we asked the staff if a certain meal has eggs or not they confirmed not them we ordered the meal after he finished he started to vomit on the spot and we discovered that it had eggs the kid was pail and red eyes
Second time I went alone with my family the staff was very rude with my baby she is only 18 month when I complained they said to me get out

When it came time to pay the waiter held the machine the entire time and was staring while I put my card in, a cheap way to intimidate people to give higher tips. Made sure to give no tip because of that. Horrible and very disrespectful.

Craving Turkish cuisine, this is the answer to satisfy your appetite. Everything off the grill is amazingly delicious. Tried the mixed grill, five stars on taste and presentation. Mixed pide was also good. Ofcourse if you're wanting to stick with the classic, Adana kabobs are a must!

The food was great! This is the third time I've been here. Unfortunately, this will be the last as I get the vibe I'm not welcome. Seems like every time I come the server's are almost annoyed I'm even there. Cut eye from across the room, one word begrudging responses and zero spacial awareness is a bad recipe for customer service.

Judging by the other mediocre/bad reviews I'd say there are others who share my sentiment proving it might not just be me.oh well.

I love turksih food but this restaurant has nothing to do with delicious turkish food. I had a bone in the kofteh. The meat in the eggplant kebab tasted gamey. The eggplannt was burnt from the outside but still raw from the inside. Salad tasted old. Only good thing was the plate of appetizers including hummus. Ended up paying 89$ for food that we did not eat! Never again.

First time visiting the place, but have been ordering often through coworkers pick up. When you enter you already smell the freshly baked bread and the meats. While waiting you can watch the bread being prepared & kneaded for their Pida (Pizza) and other items. Their sandwich breads are so fresh, my favorite part is the last bite of the sandwich where it is just the bread soaked in all the juices of the filling. Portions are decent. I usually share a mixed sandwich and pepperoni pida.i think it's beef, and its meaty

Good food overall. The Adana kebab looks good but it seemed a bit dry inside, the menu says it's supposed to be spicy but I didn't notice any heat (but I'm a pepper nut, so normal people may feel it). The salad was good, nice and fresh and a tasty dressing on it. The Bulgur was good, and the bread strips were warm and fresh. The chicken doner was fresh and tasted great.

We got the mixed pide - we figured if we didn't' like it then at least we'd get the mozza/pepp and be ok with that. But if i could do it again I'd skip the mozza pepp and just get half and half of the other two, they were so good. The mozza pepp wasn't bad btw, it's just that the others were a more unique flavour (for us) and were really delicious. The Turkish coffee was good, but felt overpriced - It's a very small cup, and the bottom 1/4 is the grinds, it was an experience though.

Bad customer service.

Asks us to wait 25 mins out in the cold but can’t wait even 2 mins for the customer.

Never coming back here. The waitress was rude and arrogant.

Worst food we had in sometime, the kebab for Adana seemed to be stale and the Khunafa was super well done and burnt.

Would not recommend to anyone.

Super rubbish in one line.

I love the food here and i was very disappointed this time as i ordered a trilece after our meal and it was not good when i informed the server he didnt do anything about it. Then we asked him to bring another one to see if it was only ours or all of them were the same. We paid for both, even though trilece was not what it usually is. It was sour this time and with a thick layer of caramel and barely any milk. (See pics)

Anyways — i really hope customer service can be improved. Also, i am not sure what happened to the trilece, please fix it. It doesnt taste good any more. Please see the pictures for reference.

They don’t have too many options for vegetarians. I had the feta cheese pide and the dip platter which was 10/10! The service was quick and pleasant! Also the tres leche dessert is *chefs kiss*. Before you know it you’ve eaten an entire slice. It’s heavenly.

Food has changed a lot at this restaurant! Adana kebap doesn’t taste good at all, it just tastes plain pepper. The salad dressing was so bad that I couldn’t even eat! Overall this restaurant used to be my favourite but not anymore! Very pricey for the quality

At the first moment you enter that place team give you an excellent feeling. Very warm hosts, it is a good place to hang out with friends and colleagues or with your date. Great meals, experienced chef de cuisine, honest cost and nice service. Highly recommended.

Was so happy I discovered this Turkish restaurant nearby and I was craving some of that awesome Turkish flat bread or pide.

The place is in an unassuming plaza near the Dixie go station. Once you enter the decor is pretty modern and nice with an open kitchen.

Our waiter was nice and answered all our questions. The only unacceptable thing here is they don’t serve tap water and charge for bottles when you ask for water. This is Canada, pretty sure the tap water is potable.

Food itself was very tasty. The flavours and spices were excellent. We tried the dip platter which had some very interesting dips, all tasty.

The Kunefe is to die for! They also serve you some excellent Turkish tea at the end of your meal.
Highly recommend, but just bring your own water bottle.

I have been here a few times and service is amazing. Everything is made fresh and ingredients are of great quality. Would highly recommend this place also a very clean and cozy vibe

Loved the food! We had their done pide and chicken done.food was delicious with mild spices and enough quantity. Will definitely try again.

Dear customer service,

I am writing to express my extreme disappointment in the service we received at the your restaurant today. The lady at the cashier was extremely rude when I asked what do you recommend a very flat pale face with no smile or invitation what so ever. I asked, what do you recommend chicken kebab or donar chicken she said she do not like them both. A minute passed we changed our mind to eat in as we came from a far a way place 2 hours drive. I remember I came to ask about the receipt to remind the cashier about our food (where our table is) and she told me that she will send it with our food to our table.
We sat down the food took 20 minutes to get on our table after I complained to the waiter that was helpful. The lady at the chair simply handed the food in bags to him and in turn handed back to us. The food was there all the times and no one notice that we are the one ordered it or it is for us. It is arrived cold.

This one worst experience we had have and will not do it again if no one get back to us as explain why all this simple stuff could not have been handed by many waiters who were not busy or provided a compensation. There is one Waiter who apologized three times and this is the only one good thing that happens as a trial to fix the situation a bit.

A very bad customer service for a food that do not deserve the money we paid for.

It was our first time going to this restaurant as it was recommended by family and friends. The food was amazing! We devoured every bit of it. The server who took our initial order was lovely! The only feedback I would give would be to make their front entrance a little more clearer as to which door to enter through from. Other than that, the food was great and we will definitely be returning!

Food was good, pie dough was bit under. Tight space. One-time visit recommend. You can catch the staff on their good or bad days - on their busy days, they get flustered.

Amazing tasty fresh food and very friendly servers. The whole experience is amazing. Definitely a must go.

My daughter 4 and me had a very bad tummy pain after eating at this restaurant! So I’m like what was that attitude about? When you are serving 10 days old food!
That is my first n last time here we AFGHANS have more good food and more manners than those guys we met ALHUMDULLILAH my Pakistani friend forced me to go to this place we were excited to try something new but hellll had bad experienced with attitude and bad old food

This place USED TO have good food and service but i ordered take out and was given burgal rather than rice and chicken tasted under cooked. The salad brown and seemed old. I won’t be coming back here

Food was good, the restaurant was extremely busy and they were very understaffed. However, Selma was very quick, patient and kind to our party.

Mans that are capping and rating 1star eat oatmeal on a daily basis. Mans be ordering to go during COVID (2-3months ago) and expect Nusret type presentation on a budget meal.like fam, this battri posted a photo of a bless salad then gives a one star but eats and enjoys a Junior chicken. I tried the mixed doner plate and it was great. Very delicious and the portion size was big; very filling. I docked a point because the service could have been better. It took a while for a waiter to serve us. 3 groups of people came in after us but were served before us. Also, they forgot our tea and we had to remind them multiple times. The prices are comparable to other turkish places. I could have taken another point off because there were alot of flies and fruit flies circling our food.

The first time and the last time the meat did not have a special taste and I found hair in the rice and the food did not fit the price, it was a bad experience

Went to the restaurant with a group of 5 people. Had to wait 1 and a half hour for food and only 3 people got their plates. 2 plates never got served and they told us the kitchen is closed and they cant do anything about it. We even mentioned to them we were still waiting for food multiple times and still never received the 2 plates. Absolutely no customer service what so ever. The owner was present and he just stayed inside counting money on the table and never talked to us when we asked.

It is a very nice place their food is amazing. What ever you order from their menu is delicious definitely recommended. Plus it is halal place

Amazing! Came here by fluke and so happy we did, service was great food fresh and tasty! We loved every bite fresh wood oven baked bread and meats meals came with bulgur which is healthier than rice, seasoned perfect not too salty and a bit of spice! The meals came with an awesome little bag with a wet towel, salt/pepper, fork/knife even a tooth puck a really lovely thing to do and have when you have to eat in your car. We got 2 desserts for home tres leches and kunafa. The people working there are as lovely as the food! HIGHLY RECOMMEND.
