Great tacos! Lived up to the hype. We tried a bunch of them and were all delicious. The restaurant is no frills - a few tables so mostly take out. We sat on the patio.
Love the authentic tortilla! The pastor was definitely my favourite. But the chorizo was well spiced and a lot of meat. $8 is a little steep per taco. Three tacos will fill you up for a meal. Will be returning when I'm in the area!
I tried the food here more than 5 times. I've only tried tacos and gorditas. Both tasted good. The portions and quality compared to the price is what knocks off 2 stars as the quality could be enhanced and the tiny portions could be bigger
Tasty lengua tacos but too many barriers to this restaurant. Cash only, you must wait 45 minutes to over an hour for your order even during off-peak hours (I ordered three tacos only) and the price is very expensive. Each taco is $8 for a small one. The person working the cash was also not very friendly and a bit impatient, which is normal I suppose, but tacos seem too expensive to justify all that
One of the best taco spots in the city! Fresh, delicious food and the spicy dips really hit the spot. A little on the pricey side at $8 a taco but well worth it.
Food was mediocre, nothing was bad.but was very bland. The hot sauce was fiery hot and really good. Food was extremely fresh.but there was no spices/ herbs in the seasoning. Except for the cilantro I omitted as I am not a fan. It was quite expensive for 4 small tacos, chips and salsa1 coke was $55 plus tip. I personally do not like the run down places/atmospheres.the washroom in the basement is quite scary, your waiting for the rodents to jump out at you.idk I'm trying really hard to give this place a good review.but I simply think I can't give it anymore than what I gave it. The place needs a TLC and air-conditioning.
First time trying and loved it! the vegetarian options were amazing, the mushroom taco was one of the best tacos I've had.the sauces were delicious.highly recommend.can't wait to go back!
I didn't like that in order to sit down we had to order and pay first, I didn't like that at first, I asked the girl who was at the cashier that if I wanted something else I would have to get up from the table to order and pay and she told me very In a bad way, yes, and I responded that that system was not comfortable at all, and she, in a very arrogant tone, said that that was what it was and since I didn't like it, we left the place and both she and the other girls said something but the truth was that I'm not interested in knowing what, I DO NOT RECOMMEND IT
An authentic, small and family run place. I loved their taco, very fresh and felt like a homemade one. It's cash only by the way, but they take e-transfer too.
Chorilocos nachos were fantastic - just the right amount of heat, loads of flavour, and lots of crunch! Beware, you’re likely to fill up on these sausage-topped nachos before your tacos even arrive.
I really enjoyed the shrimp taco, but the volcan (steak), pastor (marinated pork), choriqueso (cheese and sausage), and pescado (fish) tacos tasted just alright.
Very limited indoor and outdoor seating. No frills, cash only, authentic and local.
