5 stars hardly seems enough. This is a local gem in Stittsville. The staff are friendly, knowledgeable and service oriented and their products are fresh and local. I just stopped in and got a sandwich for lunch on a huge Portuguese roll with all the toppings for $7. Their sausages are awesome and the cuts of meat are so much nicer than anything you will find in one of the big chain stores. You would expect to pay a premium for the quality and service but the prices are very reasonable and usually less than you will find in the big box stores.awesome local business with great products and friendly people.

Can't say anything about the ready made food, since I never tried (I probably should!). But their meat is locally sourced, of highest quality and fairly priced. Great selection of self made sausages, too. Staff is always super friendly and helpful. You'll not be disappointed coming here to buy meat, whether it's for a bbq or the kitchen. Guaranteed!

As of late I’ve been heavily favouring Maria’s ready made frozen meals. I’ll say this, if my wife was dangling from a cliff in my left hand and in my right was a portion of split pea and ham soup or the beef stew…
Hard choices would be made that day.
