Amazing service, people and price.

I have renter a car for 2 weeks and experienced only positive emotions, starting from a reservation (huge thank you to big Alex) and up to pick up and drop off of the car (special thank you to Jishna and Eric). Everything was nice and smooth.

Only missing part was a glass of champagne and ice cream at the return.

Car was new and well maintained.

Honestly, at the beginning, after reading all negative reviews, I was sceptical about company. But was told and realized myself, that due to our busy lives, we accept great service as granted and forgetting to appreciate what other people are done for us.

Once again, big thank you to all workers at this company and iverta definitely will be my first choice when it comes to car reservation.

People, please don't be shy.leave your feedback. Good service deserve to be promoted.

Excellent service, very polite and helpful staff! This is my third time renting a vehicle from them and I will return everytime I need a vehicle in the future! Vehicles are newer and well maintained. You never have to worry about getting a vehicle that isn't spotless. These vehicles are clean! It is easy to reserve a vehicle online and it's secure too!

As you guys can see, all those positive reviews are FAKE, created on demand by friends and robots the company paid for. I had a REAL experience at this "rental car shop". In a brief, they robbed us $50 Canadian dollars and were willing to rob more! They tried to manipulate a Asian girl beside me clearly acting in a "seeking money mood". They will try to use your credit card as much as they can. They will point you old damages in your car just like you did it. Many people know their behavior and start filming all the car just because they know it happens. These guys are trained to "legally" rob people. Always pointing rules out of no where, even though their website is not working. I will go so far for my 50 Canadians dollars that these guys cannot even imagine what they will face with. Iversta, those $50 Canadians dollars you robbed me will cost you SO MUCH than you could imagine. Just wait.

Good car rental agency. Pretty busy location and hectic since near airport. Took a while to get ride from viscount station and to do paperwork. Reception is constantly interrupted when dealing with a customer and it's pretty frustrating that the person dealing with you is also dealing with 10 other things and people running around asking him questions. He should be allowed to focus on the person in front of him.

Great service from Iversta. I scheduled a booking with Turo two weeks ago and got cancelled last week. In my panic I booked with iversta and got a car that very same day with no issues with even less money and on a public holiday. Really awesome stuff from the people here. Very cheap but you get what you pay for!
Not open 24/7 and do not have a shuttle 24/7. The drop off for after hours is sketchy, had to drop my car off at 6am, dropping the car at one warehouse and having to walk to drop the key off behind another building in the dark.
Extra fees for everything, bring your own insurance papers - it is no where on their Expedia and they will charge you $24 a day if you do not have a copy.

Harman Jeet was very professional and gave great service! The car was in excellent condition. We are grateful for reputable companies…but just remember to have Third Party Liability Insurance. I would rent here again hands down! Thank you, Iversta Car Rental for such an easy process!

Worst experience with a car rental! Gave us a seemingly good but DEFECTIVE car which literally flew apart on the highway and blamed us for the damage. We could have been seriously injured or could have injured others but they said it was our liability. We waited three hours for this rental they were “inspecting” even if we booked weeks in advance. They told us to purchase their insurance but in the end the insurance wasn’t even legit! We asked for the policy - none on hand available. We asked to talk to any of their legal team so we could settle the fees, the “lady” in the front said “head office was out of office”, we asked “all of them? ”, she replied with “yes all of them, but if you just leave CAD400, we can call it even” (even if the piece of plastic that flew was CAD50). Abysmal service, we had to stay for HOURS talking about the possibilities of the piece of plastic flying and why it was supposedly our fault. In the end we found out (on our own) that their “insurance” was just another building down the same road as them, and that this company also goes by a different name so in the event something goes south for a customer, they refer the customer to “Ace Car Rentals”, and when you try to reach that number, they refer you back to Iversta. Such a pain! Yes, they’re cheaper than airport rentals. But also, yes, they pay off the *shiny* 5 star reviews here. At the end of the day, are you really willing to skimp out on a couple extra dollars to get really sketchy service?

If I could, I’d give a -1 star. This company gave us a DEFECTIVE car which literally flew apart on the hwy 400 series AND blamed us for the damage. We could have been seriously injured or could have injured others but they said it was our liability. They told us to purchase their insurance but in the end the insurance wasn’t even legit! We had to shoulder the expenses (almost $600) to repair a $50 piece of plastic. Unbelievably unprofessional company!

Great car rental experience. I booked with Iversta for a 2 week car rental in Toronto as it was a much better advertised price than the bigger name companies at the airport. In front of me was a man complaining about his out of province insurance coverage, as he couldn't provide proof that he was insured in Ontario. When I made the booking, I read the fine print in advance, and I was prepared on arrival. I had a proof of insurance from my out of state Insurance Company, and my credit card benefits printed out. This made everything simple and quick for everyone. The people working at the desk "by law" need to verify that you have insurance to drive their vehicle (but their job isn't to call your insurance company) If you're prepared in advance, this should be smooth sailing. Otherwise, you'll most likely need to buy additional rental car insurance. Also in the fine print: Unlimited miles only in the province of Ontario. I made sure not to cross over into Quebec (otherwise it's limited miles) This wasn't a problem for me on this trip, but if I decide to drive into Quebec on my next trip, I'll be sure to request mileage clarification for different provinces. Tolls were explained in advance, so I made sure to stay off the toll highways (they're expensive and not really worth the 10 minutes you may save anyhow) Check-in/out was a breeze and everyone at this location was very kind. I would rent from Iversta next time I'm in Toronto. Thanks all!

Amazing experience.
We received new Kia Carnival, the car was clean with no issues.
I asked them for extra 8 hours and they told me that it's not a problem and they will not charge me extra for it.
Amazing and fast service.
Cheaper than bigger companies and close to Toronto airport.

Absolutely misinformation has passed by the company. With the same amount I can get different insurance company at the airport. This location is 10 minute taxi ride to airport.
1st of all there is no free drop of to the airport. They only provide shuttle during their business hours otherwise you have to do taxi.
2nd they won't provide you rental without a copy of your pink slip/insurance slip, since I was traveling, I didn't have my pink slip with me as I was using my credit card insurance. I had to call my insurance company and get a copy of a pink slip.
3rd, rental website mention unlimited km, only if you have a boarding pass. Otherwise only 900 km.

My reservation got cancelled by Fox Car Rentals as my flight was delayed. I got stuck at Toronto Pearson Terminal 3 with my wife and 3 kids. Ashmeet Chawla had shuttled to Terminal 3 to pick up Iversta Car Rentals' clients when I approached him and explained my situation. He was very compassionate and promised he would talk to the the guys at the office. Now it was already getting late and there were no available cars anywhere, I ad been calling around for 3 hours. I was a stranger in Toronto with no where to go! Sure enough, Ashmeet came back to pick us up for an availability they had made happen because of my situation! It was a big relief. He made my trip experience a great one. The guys at the office were fantastic too. Iversta is a great Car Rental Company. Helpful and kind staff who stayed late beyond their closing hours just for our sake; and by the way great rate and brand new cars too. I seriously recommend this 5 star company anytime, any day if you are in the Toronto area. Thank you Iversta!

2 Star is better than one star isn't it.

1. Honest opinion - Better rent it from Airport which is much faster, saves you ton of time eliminates all hidden costs. At the end of the day you pay more by taking a cheaper deal while this location isn't located in the airport.

Airports also give you unlimited out of province mileage while these guys don't. If you are travelling out of Province DONOT rent from this place.they would track and charge for every additional kilometre. They would strike the clause of unlimited kilometre on the agreement and make it Unlimited ontario mileage. Technically you can sue them and fight in the court coz its a manual correction on the agreement.

If you are planning to rent anyway.: -
1. They might promote you towards additional insurance and driver charges even if you are thinking to drive alone. Stand firm if you are driving alone.

2. Make sure to know if your Credit card gives you protection for damages to rental vehicle and check to see if your own-car insurance policy covers for liability. Based on that take the decision and eliminate costs for which you already are covered.

3. We rented for 4 days and they took $700 hold fees which i rarely see with other companies. The highest i have seen at airport is $300 to $400 depending on number of days. This is ridiculous on their part. They will insist on Traffic tickets, speed lights but anyways you are responsible for them and the rental company should direct these tickets to you. That is how most rental companies do. FIx your process Guys.

4. They will ask to write your credit card number, expiry date and CVV for unknown costs that might shoot up in the future. Donot EVER GIVE THIS INF (providing them CVV is exposing yourself to a higher risk) they cannot make transactions without your consent and are legally not allowed to take this information. Someone from the Bureau should inspect this place to see how many credit card holder data is stored which poses a big threat.

5. Our car is not sanitized or cleaned and i have pictures after renting the car. While they give stupid reasons in the comments, you can get a clean sanitized vehicle always when you are renting from the airport itself rather than these folks who are outside the airport.

All in all terrible experience.

Iversta, is a company that gives you the opportunity to get a decent deal in terms of auto rental, be prepared to arrange previously the pick up and drop off of the vehicle. The drop off of the vehicle was the down point and needs to be better explained to customers at the rental. The taxi company they refer me hang up on me twice and never pick me to the airport an I ended with calling an Uber. Definitely I will rent with them. The issue wasn't the office or the people in the office they were courteous and helpful.

It's an ok place to rent your car. The whole process was fairly painless and BS-free. Knocking off two stars for the following reasons:
Customer service was ok- I got hung up on on the phone, which I though was an accident but I've seen other reviews mention it too.
One of the people working there pretends the parking lot is a racetrack and redlines the Hyundai like a lunatic. People come here with their kids, it's an accident waiting to happen.
The car I got wasn't freshly cleaned. I'm used to cars being wet from just being washed and not a spec of dirt on the inside. Not to say the car was dirty, but I could see bits of mud throughout.
The car was old- Grand Caravan that didn't have Bluetooth or auxiliary cable to connect your phone for navigation.

I rented a car 5 weeks ago for a few days and they never released 500CAD deposit back to me. Its been 5 full working weeks after i returned the car and i was promised it will be released within a week
Stay away from this company although thir rental prices seems low, they dont return deposit so you are better of going with established car rental conpany

Car is 3 star, there were stains on the windshield they couldn't get off and left over residue of water or cleaning spray in the back seating area. Car ran smooth and fine. But everything else was a very complicated process. For example, the gas tank was filled less than half way. We have never experienced that before with a car rental.

Customer service is 1 star, they placed us on hold 1 time and hung up & on the 2nd call the employee was very rude to hang up without resolving our issue. We called back and no one answered. This is very frustrating and inconvenient for people who are not from Canada.

Advertising is misleading. They claim to be ACE Rent-A-Car but are also called Iversta Rent-A-Car. We thought the car rental was at the airport for easy pickup, but it was off site. This made our experience very exhausting and complicated. We had to ask around how to find "ACE Rent-A-Car" and airport employees had to guide us.

There was a lack of instructions given to us as customers. No directions as to how to get to them and they sounded annoyed we asked how to find them. I mean we are YOUR customers, it's your job to give us these instructions beforehand and to also assist us.

Timing restraint, they don't open until 9am and we had an early flight so had difficulty getting from an offsite location back to the airport. We were told to leave the keys and call someone to pick us up but they didn't recieve our call nor pick us up.

Overall I will not be using this car rental service again.

Rental car was good and as described. We would have no problem using their service again. The only down side is that the office is outside Pearson Terminals but a shuttel vehicle will come and pick you up. Call ahead to get instructions and arrange for the shuttle pick up and time.

They were very accommodating. I think the intake form would be best filled out before arrival rather than in the office and the key drop off is incredibly hard to see at night. My Uber driver was patient but it was unlit.

Nice people to deal with as opposed to other discount places I've dealt with at Pearson!

Great price for a rental car - you won't be able to beat their prices! I rented a car for a week over the holidays in December and it was a brand new Hyundai Elantra with just a few hundred kms. Unfortunately, I got some minor damage to the rear bumper. I felt horrible and texted Alex as soon as it happened; he was very understanding and kind about it. Natalie helped me with my insurance claim (I had collision insurance through my credit card company) and was extremely helpful with that. Even before renting the car I had a lot of questions and Alex was able to answer them all. They pick you up from Viscount way station and bring you right to the rental place. Would highly recommend and will definitely be back.

Should have been a 5 star as the first experience was amazing back in Jan-Feb of 2022 when I rented for 3 weeks. Issue is wanted to book for another date in the future and for the past 4 weeks not a single reply to my 5 emails sent in and to 2 main email accounts. Disappointed to say the least.

I t a little longer then normal to get my rental car. You needed to see my insurance which I did not have a copy of and had to call my insurance company for. The car on the inside was very dirty. I was embarrassed to have my 92 year old Mother drive in it. Your price was right though.

Important note: don’t trust any of the glowingly positive reviews on this page. The company has a sign posted at checkout offering an immediate $5 discount on your rental if you post a review and show it to them on your phone. Buying positive reviews is against the rules but also means you can’t trust them.

TL;DR: don’t rent from here. They’re disorganized and chaotic. The truck we almost rented was in rough shape. There’s little respect for COVID safety in the office.

I booked a cargo van rental through the website to move some furniture that had to be relocated on the day of the rental. I received a text message the night before from a staff member confirming the rental. That morning I received two separate phone calls from staff also confirming. It was unclear at the time why they needed so many confirmations but after my experience it became obvious that they exist in a constant state of disorganization and chaos.

We arrived at their Mississauga City location, which is in an industrial park near the airport. They occupy a narrow, drab office unit that’s mostly a hallway leading to a desk that should have been staffed with two agents behind the now requisite COVID plexiglass shields. Only the left desk was staffed, manned by a very harried and somewhat manic man who seemed in way over his head. He was helping a customer and there was a couple waiting in chairs behind him. We stayed a socially distanced six feet away. An unmasked staff member came in and out, squeezing past us in the hallway. We could hear another staff member in an adjoining office, who I eventually asked if she could come and help the now growing line behind us. She waved me off, saying “I’m working on something. ”

Eventually, another unmasked and equally stressed out staff member arrived, went into the office of working on something. He took up a position at the other desk and started checking me in. Many forms and some on-the-job training for his deskmate later, he let me know that the insurance on my credit card wouldn’t cover third parties so I had to add an extra $6 to the daily rental (not a big deal — but a 10% premium on the quote). We did the credit card thing, he printed up contracts that I signed and receipts that I kept.

Even more eventually, he came out to bring us the truck. We could see the headlight was out as he drove to us. He did the inspection and I was glad to see him taking photos of the pretty banged up exterior. We got around to the front and I pointed out the headlight. He asked if I was comfortable renting the van in that state and I said I was provided they took responsibility for any tickets related to that, having just signed a contact that included me taking responsibility for any tickets. He said he’d have to check with his manager and started walking back inside. I followed him inside to find the manager, who turned out to be the working on something office occupant, who was still working on something more important than the still filled hallway lobby.

They had a conversation I couldn’t hear but resulted in us discovering that it’s illegal for them to rent a van with a broken headlight. They also only have the one banged up van. And it’s Saturday so there’s no “maintenance guy” on site. We were told we could cancel the booking or wait a half hour for them to take it to their shop for repair. Fine, we said. There was still furniture that had to be moved. We went off into the bland blocks of industrial buildings and airport hotels looking for coffee (and found a full Starbucks store inside the Hilton).

As if it hadn’t been bad enough to this point, though feeling fortified with coffee, my phone rang with their phone number. “Maybe it’s done early? ” I said unenthusiastically to my partner. Alas. The repair shop had no headlights. There would be no rental. As of now, a day later, there are still pending credit card charges for the hold and the rental fee.

I have been calling Iversta non stop for the past 2 and half months regarding my deposit. I don’t see anywhere in my credit that the money has been returned and they don’t seem to be taking me seriously. I spent a lot of money with this company when my bmw broke down and was waiting for my new car to arrive. I rented multiple cars with them for about a month and a half and they have taken my deposit and have not returned it.

I have checked my bank account everyday and I don’t see anything being returned, I spoke to the Asian gentleman on the phone and he said that they supposedly released it and ask my bank if it’s not in. My bank is with td Canada they are a professional company and it would be in my account as I have dealt with other rental companies and my deposit came back fine. I spent over 1k with you guys and no one cares to follow up with me regarding this matter.

I want evidence that you guys have released my deposit back to me. You checked all the cars I have used, seen that there was no mistakes and we signed the papers for me to get the deposit back.

Tons of post rental charges. Their cars are not even set up for any toll paying system, which means, they will charge you for EXTRA toll fines ($8 / per toll) each time you drive through toll, and a fine processing charge ($50), plus the normal toll fees. They don't have a shuttle to the airport. And they don't open on Sunday. So good luck if you return your car on Sunday. Enjoy a nice long walk to the airport. Customer service is like non-existing. Worst car rental experience ever.

Update: If you ever setup a transponder, the 407 toll fee is just $1 per trip. I was not given any toll-payment option when picking up the car. Even without a transponder, the camera charge is $4.2 per trip. They don't even care explaining the toll system to a customer who is new to the area. And yeah, yeah, yeah, that's all my fault. I guess the best way to resolve issues is to blame your customer. You are such a GREAT company.

Came to pick up our rental car. While we were inside managing payment, Inversta rented the car we were picked up in to another driver with our luggage still in the car. After trying to contact the driver with no luck, thy ended up calling to me police to stop the guy on the highway. All we kept hearing was “we are working on it” They didn’t even offer us a different car to take to the hotel or to bring out luggage to Newmarket which is were we are headed. Sat in the office for 2 hours waiting for our luggage. Still sitting here. Waiting. Who rents a car out without checking the truck?

I flew in from BC and picked up a rental car at an amazing rate compared to others at the airport. I was skeptical because of poor reviews or other similar companies with poor reviews, but I had no issues at all and everyone I dealt with was very friendly. Would definitely rent from them again when I'm back to visit.

Not even 1 star. This rental service is a scam. I rented a vehicle from them in 2019. When they sent be the bill for the 407 ETR toll road they included a $31 fine and a $50 administration fee. How can the administration bill be higher than the toll fee of $30? Ridiculous! Don't be fooled by their lower prices, somehow they get you back. I would rather take the bus. Also, check the condition of the exterior of the car before you rent. They'll come up with damages that you supposedly caused.

I had the pleasure of renting a vehicle from Iversta through QEEQ. Not only did I have great customer service, but the car was new, clean and available straight away. The team at Iversta answered my questions the night before arrival and picked me up in a timely fashion from Viscount station. I was able to receive my vehicle within 10 minutes and received assistance with loading my luggage. A last minute extension to my trip and need for a rental was happily managed, and I was able to keep the vehicle for an additional 3 days without excess charges for changes to my itinerary. Iversta rentals has great pricing and customer service. Iversta is now my Toronto Pearson vehicle rental provider of choice.

Terrible company and I do not recommend. I’m travelling from BC to Toronto tomorrow And had a car booked with them only to find out after the fact that they require a $1000 deposit on a credit card plus payment upfront for the vehicle. Which would have been fine if I knew ahead of time but they do not let you know this information it was not stated anywhere.now I’m struggling to figure out how to get 4 hours North Of Toronto to make it to my grandfathers funeral. As if I needed this much more stress on top of the stress I’m already going through. They want my dad to fly in from BC just to provide his credit card. Terrible customer service skills.thanks for ruining my trip guys!

Worst rental car company I met! Not even 1star!
When we got the car, the staff had routine check with us. The car had 30,000km and it seems quite well. However we were not aware the condition of the tires. The tread on the 2 rear tires were very shallow for a car with such low mileage. After 5 days drive, the tire was blown out suddenly on the highway. We replaced it with a spare tire n drove to Canadian Tire to exchange with a summer tire. We had called the company n was told to go ahead with the procedure and exchange it since we were way to far to their nearest location. However when we returned the car, the staff stated that since we did not buy the insurance for this company, we need to pay by ourself. They didn't bear the responsibility for the blown-out tire and all the time we wasted. That it, we brought 2 new tires for the company that is equal to the rental fee. It is ridiculous. According to the staff of Canadian Tire, the tire was beyond repair, that means they used the old tires on a new car n rent to the customer

Great place. They'll work with you on short notice. I wasn't able to return the car because I was in another province and they helped me out. Also gave me a wire to charge my phone.

It was a busy time when I picked up the car. Rental company gave the car from the previous customer to me directly, and they didn't have time for cleaning and sanitizing. Big stain in the trunk and floor mats were muddy. Dash board showed maintained needed, and found it was 2000km over due. Office people and shuttle driver were very friendly and professional which was the only thing I can recommend.

Absolutely horrible company to rent a car from. They one thing to their custo.er and make an agreement t for another. I had a four day reservation that I came to get and was told since my license was expired they won't be able.to rent it for me so I asked them to change my reservation to the following day. They told me yes and the rates are the same for my four day reservation. I renewed my license and went back to get my car and was told that it's due on Saturday. I call in to make an extension due to my repair on my car isn't done and their telling me I'm not able.to extend my extension and my car is due Friday by 8: 30. I don't understand how they blindly lie to their customer and due something else. All for some money that they need to earn in a very deceiving way. I was happy that they moved my reservation to the following day and when I called to make an extension I was frustrated how they had the transferring to one staff to another to another. No one is willing to take responsibility and they don't have a manager on duty to speak to at 3: 30pm during businhours. Very cheap and deceiving company. SCAMMERS AND VERY IGNORANT ON HOW THEY TREAT YOU WITH THEIR DECIEVING SERVICE. PLEASE BE AWARE READ. YOUR CO TRACT BEFORE YOU LEAVE THIS PLEASE AS THEY WONT HELP YOU ONCE YOU LEAVE.

Quick & professional car rental service. Booked a van for our summer vacation to Pelee Island, check-in and drop off took less than 15 mins each and they even advised which insurance to get to ensure we only paid for what we needed - the whole credit card rental insurance policy. Rental was clean and almost a full tank of gas ensuring we didn't have to do more errands as we were packing up to head out. Even called to let us know we could extend the rental if needed, if only we could've got the cottage longer! Highly recommended.

I was a little nervous about renting from a lesser known company. My fears were completely unfounded. I received a phone call prior to picking up my vehicle to confirm the rental and they provided some additional helpful details. They picked me up from the airport and got me into my car quickly. Drop off was easy and another quick shuttle to the train to the terminal. I will be using Inversta again when I'm in Toronto next month.

I've been working with Iversta for the last 4 years - and my business relationship with them is remote. I contact them ahead of time prior to flying back home to Toronto and the car is always ready. Their cars are in excellent condition, the staff is super helpful and quick with their service and inspection is swift in and out. I have a great relationship with the owner as well - Alex - who makes sure he gets to know his customers and is always available to help if need be. Alex has become a friend and I always rely on him and the team.

I had a great experience overall. Someone went over with me any scratches and nicks over the car to make sure I wasn't charged for something I didn't do. The car was great and I wasn't overcharged for anything. Make sure you ask a lot of questions so you understand what you are paying for.

My only complaint would be the seats maybe. They looked like dirt hit them so I couldn't tell if they were 100% cleaned. Other than that, I will definitely go with them again. They are 100 times better then Enterprise car rental! (Got ripped off by them too many times). Loved my experience at Iversta car rental!

rentals after reading the reviews here. Vinay, Dilbagh and the rest of the team provided a high degree of service, the vehicles were clean and the cost was very reasonable given the last-minute reservations. Highly recommend using them!

I will definitely recommend iversta for anyone looking for a high standard car rental company. It was my first time renting a car and I had a lot of doubts mostly because I had heard bad things from others. While I was searching I came across iversta and when I read other reviews I felt more confident AND BELIEVE ME THEY ARE MUCH BETTER THAN ANYONE HAS EVER DESCRIBED. I first rent a car for one month and then I had to rent another one for two weeks. The process was really easy and everyone made sure I am completely satisfied. I’ve continued to avail their services continuously as I have seen the value they give me. I have used many other car rental services before, but Iversta by far has been the best in terms of value, personalized service and overall flexibility. Great price on a weekly rental. It takes a while to get the paperwork done but other than that everything else was good.
