Cocktail with gin double shot was so much better than one shot and it didn’t affect the taste at all and once I was ordered one shot gin cocktail and it was like you are drinking juice.

Kayla was the BEST waitress I've had in so long (anywhere)! She was a great sport with my father in law being such a 'dad', and was truly just lovely to interact with.the food was as expected, standard across most Jack Astor meals, it truly was Kayla who made our experience so fantastic. I'd come back just to sit in her section again!

Got food poisoning here, was vomiting all night, and diarrhea. Do not eat here. Got the Thai green curry and Cesar salad. Be careful.

Excellent service. The food was very good and the portions were more than enough. Maybe a little too pricey, but that seems to be the tendency in every restaurant now.

Phoenix was very fast and efficient. She made our family dinner so much fun! I will definitely be coming back.

"WORST SERVICE EVER" AT THIS LOCATION.
We used to love going to Jack Astros.
My family and I went there on Friday night for dinner.
After waiting 45 minutes to get our food, our servant came back saying they ran out and don't have enough of our orders therefore we had to change some orders. We waited another 45 minutes still no food. It was midnight, we were very upset and frustrated and lost our appetite. After no respond from the manager of our complaint, we paid for our drink and we left the place after waiting for 2 hours and no food. Very poor service.

We do not recommend this place at all.

Nicoletta is a super GM always taking care of customers.plus Siba and all the other rock stars behind the bar. I stay near the airport weekly and this is my Cheers bar. John from Cincinnati and 1000% REAL. LOVE the pucks eh.

Mich & Pat were AWESOME! So glad we picked the green side of the hockey puck so we could get the attention! Food was equaly as pleasant. Five star all the way!

Great experience! Our server Marianna was wonderful and she even gave us riddles to solve during our meal and puzzles. We had so much fun. All in all a wonderful experience and we will definitely be asking for Marianna again.

Except at the front door, the restaurant staff seemed unorganized. It didn't help that the first three things I ordered off of their menu, they did not have or carried. As the menu is digital, then it should be easy enough to update and reload. The lack of product flustered our second server. He tried his best, which we cannot fault him for doing. When ordering, I mentioned I had a flight to catch, and our food was served less than 5 minutes later. The bruschetta was delicious and fresh.

Shaq was our server and they gave us excellent service. The food was great and the atmosphere was enjoyable.

A lot of security COVID-19 standards before eating in the place. The service is really good and the ambient used to be better to be honest back in the day. Good for gang out with pals to catch up.

Jack astors never disappoints but this time chicken fingers were not fresh and my stomach was upset after that.

This is a pretty standard Jack Astor's in terms of food. I had the ribeye sandwich and it was great! Came with a couple of dipping sauces which I appreciated.

Our waitress was also great, I would recommend that you avoid their pitchers for the cocktails as they're watered down. Get the singles, they're much better

Manager has no manners to talk. He sits around and chills rather than looking after clients. Filthy place with no hygiene. Do not get sick please go elsewhere.

My husband and I came here for dinner and we enjoyed the crab dip. I got the holy smoke BBQ burger and my husband got wings. The food was delicious and our waitress was friendly. We will definitely be back

Great service and accommodating staff. We showed up with a large group of 14 with a reservation of 10 people, obviously my group of people suck! Ha, they quickly brought a table over to sit the extra people.

The beer selection was wide carrying a lot of big name brands and a few local micro brews.

This location is a bit hidden by a huge parking lot next to Boston Pizza near the airport.

If your in TO for the night and staying out by the airport definitely stop here for an inexpensive night.

Great for big groups, but really wish there were more vegetarian or vegan food options. Such a good menu but so few choices as a vegetarian

I have been to jack astors so many times and never was forced to pay for tip or service. Only at this location they make it mandatory

I don't know how this place trains its staff but it leaves a lot to be desired. I get it, Jack Astors is supposed to be an informal, fun and cool place to eat and drink; but since when does your server stick his hand in front of your face to shake hands. I have worked in the food/hospitality industry for over 15 years; sticking your hand in front of your diners face for a handshake is inappropriate to say the least. At the end of my meal, after asking for the bill. The same server, with his hands full, decided to throw the receipt at me while leaning over the seat across from me. He also asked me to help him stack the dishes on my table to be taken away. Honestly, his intentions were good but misguided. These kids don't have a clue what they are doing and obviously neither does the manager. I've had enough of this place. The food and the service is consistently awful! Pan bread always comes to the table under temperature.capers on my Caesar salad (in the dressing ok but not on the damn salad). I always regret eating here and will never be returning again!

Garlic pan bread is amazing. This location in paticular is great. The jack astors in Kingston should learn from this one.

Our visit there was good, we were there for my son's 12th birthday. The food was good but the service started off well but went downhill. After dinner, they brought out dessert for my son and sang him Happy Birthday but no one else at the table was even asked if they wanted dessert or offered a dessert menu. Also when the bill was brought to us, the tip was already included (which I didn't like because of the service). After I paid, I remembered I had a coupon. When I asked the waiter if there was anyway I could use the coupon, he simply said no and walked away. Didn't offer any other suggestions or a solution. We were able to speak to the manager who was very helpful and assisted with us being able to use the coupon.

Don't get the caesar salad! Soggy old lettuce, almost no dressing, & I counted 2 pieces of parmesan cheese. Definitely not worth the money. Staff were friendly but 2 different servers almost spilled soup on my FIL, spilled the coffee & almost put their shirt into my FIL soup when the server reached across to put cheese on someone else's dish. Plus we got the wrong order of pan bread. All locations seem to be going downhill, especially food quality wise.

Ok. I come here quite often with the kids when I don't feels like cooking and it's usually a 5 star rating. Today was different. The service SUCKED. Tall skinny blonde girl name was Cass or Kass. She wasn't new because seen her there before. Took long to arrive at our table after we were seated. Took drink orders came back 10 min later with no drinks. She said " oh.you're drinks". Took forever to come back with the drinks and take our for order.

The food arrived the kids pasta was cold on top and my fries and steak were not the temperature the normally are. You can tell the food was sitting. I asked for another set of cutlery because there were only 2 at the table some napkins and another coke. Everything took longer than it should have.

I reached for a bottle ketchup which is usually on the table but wasn't there. So now I have to ask her for one. While I'm waiting for her to come back I'm half way through my meal now and I finish my coke. So now I need to ask for ketchup and a coke. She never comes back.

We are no finished our meals and I'm watching all the servers working hard attending to their customers mine is nowhere in sight. I stop one as ask for my kids desert cookie and the bill and magically she pops up. Doesn't ask me if I need anything but is talking with the other server.

She then comes back and asks if we are done a proceeds to clear the table I tell her I want the bill she comes back I pay and leave a tip that reflects here crummy service. Also the appetizer dish for the fresh guacamole was left on our table the whole time we were there.

I enjoy this place and I like this place but today I have to tell you made me not want to come back again. I went home thirsty because I didn't want to get even more upset by ordering a coke and waiting forever for it.

Last thing.if it was busy like it normally is when I go which is in the evening I would cut her some slack but I was late afternoon and want bay at all.
If she reads this that too was based on how you did your job.

Our waitress was lovely (i.e. Friendly and courteous) but the food wasn't great and the alcohol drinks were weak. Despite good service, not sure I'll return to this particular Jack Astor's

Our server, Sep, was very nice though! He should work somewhere else, they dont deserve him. The hostess that assigned the tables didn't make any effort to accomodate us. We had our 3 kids with us, the baby needed a high chair and our toddler would have been much better sitting on a booster seat. They can't put a high chair with a booth, and can't put the booster seat on a normal chair, so we chose a table. We then noticed a big corner table that could have accommodated both seats but they refused to let us sit there, even though it was a very quiet afternoon, part lunchtime and way before dinner time, and the restaurant was empty. They also assigned that table to another family of 6 while we were there. Also, kids menu is way overpriced.

The salads are fantastic. I tried the cocktail in a fish bowl and was surprised on the size. But it was a good cocktail

Food was great, although quantities were on the small side for the price. Fish and chips for $18 (fish was huge which was great, but for being a cheap "filler" food, they really skimped on the fries. Service was terrible.friendly, but useless. Every one got their drink except me!? Then ten minutes later, after asking for it, I finally got my Sprite. At least they got the "no ice" part right. Meals came hot and delicious. Waited 10 minutes for a drink refill. Then still being hungry after my meal I decided to try a dessert. Bad idea. $8 for 3 cheesecake sticks and dip? Profit on that one must have been $6.50! Then, I was not even able to tip appropriately as we were in a larger group, and so Jack Astor's decided to do "forced gratuities. " Didn't even give me the option. All I can say is not impressed! Two stars only because the food was good.
