First time here and I would definitely be back, had Alicia as a server, super kind, checks on us a perfect amount, and made conversation instead of just standing around us. Love her, her energy and the food here!

Food was either cold or just bad. Don't get the pad Thai. It's like something out of a kids cooking show. Wilted corriander. Rotten bean sprouts and all I cold taste was the endless onion pieces I kept picking out. I swear there was ketchup in the sauce. Over priced and was sorry we went. And Thai fusion was only a block away: . (cheaper and so so much better tasting. Oh well. You live you learn. Oh and to boot it was dinner with two friends for my birthday. A year older and apparently less wiser. 20 something me would never have agreed to eat there.

The Thursday lunch of the brothers. First time here and it won't be the last.
Lots of parking, highly accessible and clean washrooms!
Service was great. Sabrina was on the ball. Drinks and food ordered and they were served promptly. The fries were too spiced and not to my liking at all. I declined the offer of replacement as the ribs were very good - fall off the bone good!
The only other observation was the music was on the loud side.

The quality of the food is not great, very dry. The taste doesn't match the combination of the food. Large portions but not fresh. We ordered a drink, and it wasn't tasty. Odd taste. We had to tell them to redo it.
The service was good, the waitress was kind and helpful. But the time for serving was long, ex 20 minutes to get the bill. The decorations on the wall were patriarchal (non-equality) and dark humour.

A week ago we went to this restaurant and had an awesome experience. Manager Sherwin and server Page went well out of their way to make our evening amazing. Food was excellent! Service was excellent. We will be returning!

Happy hour is 2-5 Mon to fri and it's 22 oz draught beers for the 18 oz price. It's not listed on the website and the servers won't tell you unless asked

First time at this location. Stopped in because we had a bit of time before we had to be at an event.

We’ve been to the location at Lansdowne and enjoyed it and thought we’d give Hunt Club a shot. Not overly impressed with it. Restaurant wasn’t busy at all. We received our app (which I had a coupon for a free app, which I mentioned to our server and wasn’t taken off our bill) and were just about finished eating it before we got our drink order.

Our order itself took almost 30 mins to come out. Waited quite a bit to get our bill, and that’s when I noticed that the appetizer wasn’t taken off the bill, but my family was in the car as we were in a rush to get somewhere else, that I just paid the bill and left.

I’ve been in the industry for quite a bit of time and understand circumstances can arise, but like I said, restaurant wasn’t busy at all.

The Buffalo chicken sandwich was great! Crispy, great sauce and I finished everything! I'll be back.

People are amazing, restaurant is super clean and abiding by all standards and the food is stupendous even for a meat and potatoes guy like myself.

Must say Manny is one entertaining server aswell. I will definately go back and recomend this place to all.
Also, General manager knows her stuff and it seems the staff enjoy working there. They are always so polite and smiling and helpfull.

This is a great family restaurant with an abundant selection of interesting menu options and great cocktails. Expect some service delays for large groups on busy nights. But service is always attentive and very fast for small family dinners.

Fun filled place.life and light. Excellent for dark, gloomy winter evenings. Delicious bowls. Mexican, Thai etc.

I came here with my mom for a little mother daughter date and our server was amazing! Im a server myself and I just wanted to applaud him for being so genuine and outgoing and polite. I don't know his name but he was great! Food and drink were amazing as well.

I wasn't sure what to expect on a Thanksgiving Sunday, but the experience was great. Amanda was serving our party and everything was awseome. She was very attentive and great throughout our dining experience. The best fingers in town. Always! Thank you.

Ordered nachos through uber eats, hardly any chicken/toppings on the nachos, no sour cream, no salsa and forgot my coke zero. Coulda made these at home… woulda been cheaper and better. I mean I get its sunday, but as long as you’re open and delivering, food should be up to standard. Will Order from broadways from now on…. Or maybe go to independent and get my own tortilla chips. Sort out your sunday staff.

My server Annika was the best server I’ve had in awhile. On the ball with my order and made sure I wasn’t thirsty lol. Definitely recommend a visit.

I had the angry burger. It's now in my Top 3 of burgers I've had in the past 3years in Ottawa, a must have. And service was exceptional.

My dinner was fantastic our server was fantastic her customer service made us feel like we are royalty I will be coming here again. I hope I get Amanda again when I go.

Visited this location a couple of times recently and had great experiences. On the first visit Aurora was very great and her service was great. On the second visit I had Manny as a server, who gave great recommendations. I ordered my dinner based on what he recommended and the sweet potato fries were amazing.
Very pleased with both the service and the food from this location.

This location is our favourite Jack Astor’s in Ottawa. Food is consistently good, staff are friendly, Covid protocols are followed. Had a lovely lunch there today and our server, Amanda, was really warm and attentive. Thanks!

I ordered the Nachos ($ 28). What I got was a small plate with about an eighth of a bag of corn chips, sparsely topped with vegetable and 1/4 of a chicken breast.

The lobster dip recommended by Cameron was excellent. The service from Cameron and the lovely Annika on the bar were top notch! Well done!

**EDIT** Updating my review. So impressed with how quickly Kyla & the GM, Lauren, connected to address my concerns. Both were professional and prompt in their responses. Lauren stated that she will also provide the feedback to her team. I will definitely give the chicken fingers another shot when I'm in town.

Gave it 3 stars because our server was awesome and the Peanut Butter Tart was fire. The rest was meh. COVID protocol was good.a bit intense. The hostess was stressed to the max. Felt like we were going through customs instead of going to a restaurant. Had the Sriracha & lime chicken tenders - would not recommend. Lukewarm and it had almost a plastic taste. Definitely gave me a sore tummy the next day. I think the fryer oil needed to get changed.

This is one my favourite places to hang out with friends in Ottawa. I would like to acknowledge the amazing service provided by Deanna today.

Fantastic experience. The actress and waitress were extremely helpful and plesant during an extremely busy supper hour. Would gladly go again.

The food is very good and reasonably priced. I normally don't eat salads in restaurants but their Fiesta Bowl was delicious.

The digital menu is not very user-friendly. You scan the QR code but you still have to select your province and your city and it doesn’t even have a lunch menu and it’s just very hard to navigate. For a big chain like this it’s disappointing that the head office did such a poor job I’m on digital interface to make the dining experience more pleasant

My Mother treated me to lunch today but the real treat was our server Amanda! She was funny, polite and gave us amazing service! Highly recommend the Mexican rice bowl at Hunt Club Jack Astor’s!

While the food is good, the recent dramatic increase in prices means that I will no longer recommend it. $32 for a steak and $21 for fish and chips is too much for a sports bar restaurant. Even a hamburger is over $20. There are plenty of cheaper alternatives in town.

We had excellent service. I reserved on line and requested a half booth or full table. Whomever confirmed my reservation did not read that part and we almost didn't get a table. They finally accommodated us.

Friendly staff and the food was suitably good. A dining companion ordered the same meal (chicken parmesan), but when they arrived, there was a clear difference in presentation and portion size which was odd.

Big shoutout to Lauren (Manager) and Nadia (Server) for making our dining experience a positive one! Try the tuna guacamole here, its amazing!

Went to Jack Astor's in Lansdowne last year and was disappointed but I had to give them another chance this year because it was a family gathering.
We came to celebrate two birthdays and we weren't all seated together so that alone ruined the experience.
We had to keep asking the waitress to empty our table. I ordered the Memphis and the green beans tasted like dirt, the loaded potato was undercooked and unpleasant and the mushrooms tasted like they were marinated in salt. At least the meat was well cooked or else this meal would have been unbearable.

AWFUL RESTAURANT. We had the worst experience at this place. To begin, my drink came with hair and eyelashes in it as well as many black spots which I had no idea what they were. A worker replaced my drink however. As for the food, so many components were missing. We ordered many appetizers and 6/7 of them were missing ingredients that were listed on the menu such as avocado, salsa, corn, etc. Lastly, our waitress came to see us twice in 2.5h. Anytime we needed her it was kind of like a goose chase to try and get her attention. Awful place, not clean, not good food. We spent 80$ for the worst experience ever. So disappointed and I feel scammed honestly.

I ordered some late chicken wings, they followed the instructions I requested and everything was packaged very well so no sauce spilled. They were delicious. I just ordered wings and the wisers but they gave me a cookie and lollipops which I appreciated for pride month. Thank you!

The staff at this location are ALWAYS welcoming and friendly. I've never had a bad experience here. Even during this pandemic, they've been great. (Yeah, the food is good. Yeah, the beer is good. The staff is exceptional.)

I've been coming here for years, until the lady who was taking orders out to curb side was very rude. April 2,2021 at 6: 15pm with redish dyed hair.
Not impressed, will leave reviews all over the place.

Couldn't of asked for better service. Our waitress was absolutely amazing and had the best suggestions. Happy to be back dinning in!

Mediocre and expensive. $31 for a burger and poutine, with tax and tip. That's with only water to drink.

Okay tap list but they could swap out some of the mega-btewery lagers and light lagers for more local craft beers.

I once lived it here but I dunno any more. This chicken club was weak! One scrawny piece of lettuce? Hardly any chicken. Not worth $16.
I sent it back and got the hamburger which was better. So good customer service still.

Went there with a bunch of guys from our local fish keeper group my wife dubbed it mermaid group. Waitress was amazing service and food were on point! Thanks for the great time!

I went to Jack Astors on Friday April 5th in toronto and ordered fajitas. The food was delicious and fresh. On Monday April 8th I was back in ottawa and my friend wanted fajitas so I recommended this restaurant. We went there and service was slow. We received our food and the fajitas bread was stail hard and crunchy in some parts. Not impressed. I dont recommend this place. They could have taken the time to check if their bread was fresh or 5 days old. Crunchy bread in fajitas isn't what your looking for. Go to lonestar instead.

This place is really great. Our waitress Kristen was very friendly and really helpful. Relaxing atmosphere good prices and the food was really good. I would visit any time.

I love jack Astor's and more specifically this location. I guess I wasn't too familiar with the menu and tried the club sandwich. I thought it was from the kids menu based on the size and there was just a thin layer of chicken that was kinda dry. I wouldn't order it again. Our server was amazing for our group of 10, great service but I was kind of disappointed in the food (aside from the chicken wings which are always great)

Been to this Jack Astor's location before, and every time seems like the staff go the extra step to make sure you enjoy your dining experience. Ordered the Memphis and I have to say, the mushrooms, crispy onions and the peppercorn sauce were complementary to the steak. The big finish was the chocolate cake desert with the side scoop of vanilla and salty popcorn, like none other I've ever had.

Micro Brew Fish and Chips. Yuk!

I placed an order for pick up. The donuts were stale but who cares the sauces were amazing and provided enough moisture. Had to go back a second time because the fish batter wasn’t properly cooked and very soggy. They gave me a free desert and a free appetizer for the trouble which was nice. But then I went home and it was the same problem again. Everything was soggy from the fries to the fish. The picture contains the actually portion of the wish once I threw out the gross soggy flavourless batter. Perhaps everything else is good but stay away from the fish unless you like a soggy dish.

Always had great service and food. However it seems to have become a little bit of a social gathering when your trying to reach out to a server unfortunately. Have fun while working, by all means, just prioritize your paying customers first.

First time at Jack Astor's. Went to the Hunt Club location. The server was phenomenal, the Liit fishbowl was sooooo good, the food was great, and the prices reasonable. Atmosphere also great and everything was clean. We had a great time and will definitely go again.

Went to the Jack Astor's on Hunt Club, awesome service, great food. Ordered some tacos, which were paired with the perfect complimentary hot sauce to match the flavors. Definitely recommend!

Had an AMAZING lunch! I can't stop thinking about The Smiling Buddha Salad, OMG! I am always so glad to see fresh healthy and exciting items on a menu! It took a minute to get greeted and drinks, but the rest of the experience was excellent. I will definitely be back!
