Ordered takeout for a family of five. The meal deal was a great value and the food was hot, fresh, and very obviously packed with care. Thank you, Jack Astor’s!

I used to come here a lot when I was younger and decided to give this another try. Portion sizes have shrunk and the menu is smaller but quality is decent. The prices are high for what you are paying for and honestly I would only go back for just a drink with my friends and some apps. Service was great but you can get better value for your money at other restaurants.

Jack Astrid is always consistent across all locations. Food was great, Brianna was great; had an awesome lunch.

The food is amazing and we had a lovely birthday here with friends, highly recommend the padthai and cheese burger, the sing song part is very epic

I had a fantastic experience at Jack Astor's Bar & Grill at Dundas & 403. Jenn, the waitress during my visit, provided excellent service with a friendly and attentive approach. Her knowledge of the menu and promptness in addressing my needs made the dining experience truly enjoyable. I highly recommend Jack Astor's and Jenn's service for a memorable time.

If I could give this restaurant 0 stars I would.
I ordered takeout went into restaurant and had to wait 20 mins. I open my takeout and the food looks and tastes disgusting. My order was wrong. I called to discuss the issue sent my photos over and was told by a manager they would call me back in 10 mins to them not ever calling me. McDonald’s is better than this. My ribs look have eaten.

I’ve always loved Jack Astors, however, it appears they changed the chicken in the Bow Ties to spongey processed chicken. Won’t be ordering it again!

I and my whole family likes the place. We usually go for patios, in summer of course to avoid noise. But of course inside is also a good and lovely ambiance. Food is good, just would love to see more vegetarian options and non-alcoholic drinks (mocktail) options other than just pops and soda (too much sugar).

Not great experience during recent visit. Demanded ID for 10 yr kid inspite of showing vaccination certificate and vaccine not mandatory for kids. If you are visiting make sure you carry passport or health card and your kid is vaccinated or you will denied entry

My Chicken Stir-fry was absolutely tasteless.
Two thumbs down. I could have stayed home and had a hot dog, with SOME taste.

Was very disappointed on our last visit when our nachos came out over cooked. I guess just a bad day. Can't complain about the garlic loaf!

I passed by jack astors yesterday for dinnerI order the steak and frites. It was a bit undercooked, yet my server who I believe his name was Rambo was very attentive and got it solved quickly and smoothly. After that I had a very pleasant stay. The food was quite fast to get to our table. It was a good first experience at this location

My family and I celebrated my daughter's birthday here at Jack's, and the whole dinning experience was exceptional. Big thanks to Rambo for his warm and friendly service. Will definitely be coming back soon. Cheers Rambo!

Wow! Dinner was amazing. Had the big jack burger with a poutine and it was phenomenal. The service was great. We sat outside because they keep the sheep inside which is fine. I'd highly recommend this one!

I come here all the time. Sam and Ryan are fun to talk to and great bartenders. The food is good if a little over priced.

I went here last week for dinner the food was good but the best part of the dinner was our waitress she was so pleasant great atmosphere.

Have you seen molasses move in February? It's quite similar to the service I had today. 2 person lunch took almost an hour and a half for 2 mains and 1 desert. Added mushrooms and bacon to my pasts, no bacon was added. No one asked at any point how everything was going or I would have mentioned it. I did however say something while paying and she said oh I could have brought you some bacon! Well, would have been nice. No offer to adjust the cost either. Had to ask one of the hostesses to find her so I could actually get the bill because we were sat there for so long. She asked if we had gotten our desert yet. Shouldn't she know what's happening with her tables? Also no still did not have the desert after her ringing it in about 15 minutes prior. Restaurants have been so effected becaude of the pandemic you'd think they'd actually be trying to make money now that they are open. I don't see myself ever coming back. Not wasting my hard earned money on poor service. I must add that the food tasted great even though it was obviously sitting long enough to go cold.

Tried to place take out order would not work. Ordered take out inside, 1 simple starter, told me 1/2 hour. Waited 45 min, and a girl came out with someone's order, asked her to check mine, she left and brought out someone else's take out and I asked her if she checked on mine, she just turned her head and walked away. I left. Not taking that type of attitude from anyone. If I was a man she would have been all over me

After a horrible experience at another restaurant, my husband and I decided to go somewhere where we hoped our experience would be better. Thanks to the wonderful staff at this location, it was it!

From the second we got there, we were so impressed with their Covid protocols (we had left the previous restaurant due to lack of covid protocols). We were screened and brought to our patio table which was properly spread apart from others and then we were greeted by our wonderful server, Taylor. She was incredibly kind and such a pleasure to deal with. Our food came quickly and every bite was delicious. Thanks to Taylor and the staff for making what started out to being a crummy night, a wonderful one.

Came here for the first time not too long ago (i.e. Still during COVID times), and just had drinks on the patio with a friend. They've set up an extra patio section located on the side of the parking lot, as it seems the patio gets busier after work hours. Washrooms were very clean too.
Our server was great - it seems like all staff members were doing a great job and keeping safe. I will have to try their food next time I come back, but everything they were bringing out to other guests on the patio smelled AMAZING, so can't wait to try it! (I'll update my star rating after I've tried some food and will change rating if necessary)

This restaurant is a good location and usually you get served fairly quickly. We had a great time and the server was very helpful and friendly. Great place to go! And if you do go get the chicken fingers they are the BEST!

I met a friend for lunch this afternoon. We initially met outside and were planning to enjoy our lunch outside, but decided to move inside due to the weather. It took about 10 minutes to be served by anyone indoors. No one came over to check in with us and no one seemed to care. I was told by one of the hostesses that there was only 3 servers working the lunch shift today and that someone was going to come over soon. Unfortunately, no came over for what seemed liked forever! The most disappointing thing was when we were served by someone no one thought to apologize for the wait. It seemed as if they didn’t care that we had been waiting for quite sometime. As for the food experience it was awful, we both ordered salads, I had the Buddha salad and my friend had the Cesar salad. I also ordered a side of sweet potato and my friend ordered regular fries. It took 45 minutes to be served our meals, again no apologies at all. The plate that my sweet potato fries were served on was dirty and you can see that below. It was a my first experience and my last. Very disappointing I must say.

Awful service, baked potato was cold and when more butter was requested it took 15 minutes to get it. An additional beer was ordered but it never came.

I am going to be completely honest with this review. If you are vegetarian, I would consider going somewhere else. The vegetarian burger tasted like a frozen burger and was dry. The baked potato with butter was:
- dry.
- cold upon delivery.
- tasteless.
- very tough.

The waiter said the cooking time was fast. I’m sure it was because it doesn’t take long to heat up frozen precooked meals.

Owner: I’m sorry for the harsh review but we ordered three of these burgers and each of us were extremely disappointed.

Goood location for Jack Astor's. Beer selection is great, food is great and the waitresses are friendly

My sister-in-law is a huge fan of Jack Astor's and almost always suggests this establishment when going out so we decided to check it out this time around. For the most part it was an okay meal but I found their poutines were both lacking gravy and a gravy that tasted good. The Buffalo Chicken sandwich was good but not something I would order again as I found the bun was soggy and saturated by the time I finished it ten minutes after receiving it. The Chicken fingers were good as well and I didn't hear any complaints for them. Service was consistent but I thought it was odd that seeing as we had two babies with us that the hostess sat some one right behind us when the section was completely empty.towards the end of the meal they got restless and I'm sure the person was annoyed. Personally though I don't care that they were making noise but feel that was rather silly on their part

I enjoyed a father's day dinner with hubby. I loved the crab and lobester dip. The vodka fish and chips was decent and good portion size. However, the beer cheddar soup was too cheesy. But overall it was a nice place.

Was denied service due to a mask exemption, was treated rudely, until a kind server offered to take our order. My mother was handed a paper menu by the hostess who acted like my mother had the plague. They told us to call to place our order so we did, only to be placed on hold. When we went in to explain they insisted we needed masks. I said no I don’t! I have an exemption, I pointed out that they were in violation of the charter of rights and freedoms and the manager did not seem to care.

Just order online and at pick up call no. On door and order handed over to you in seconds. Good syatem in place

Great location with a friendly staff who are always smiling! I go to this location quite often and the food is always top notch - cant wait to go back once the patios open up again.

Always dependable. Always decent. Don't eat here much anymore. Good for a pint or fries. The renegade chicken thing was a weird trick but well played marketing.

Unfortunately our recent visit yesterday nov 2nd was not good. There are few changes that were quite unusual such as the beer cheddar soup dosnt have beer with it. The reason according to the manager, people returned it and it was non alcoholic beer anyways which is quite a surprise. Then dont put it in the menu and as for beer it was regular beer at least at other locations.
Service was slow, no cutlery, waiters were overwhelmed for a reason, guac shrinked that you needed a magnifying glass to see it. Wings with buffalo sauce came dry, however the nice waitress took it back added more sauce, but guess what, in decent places you dont return the bitten.carrots in the plate you reserve, burger came no.condiments so were really tired if having to ask for everything. Down the hill. Anyways we are in Mississauga no one cares, just dont come.

Service, and food great. Very accommodating for a party of 30, team function. Need some fly paper, or neon fly trap. Fruit flies over my food, entire meal. Turnoff

We usually avoid chain restaurants so were pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food, level of service and overall atmosphere. Loved everything about our meal! Thank you Josh for taking great care of us - we will definitely be back!

I visit this location frequently. Always sit at the bar wood. I have built good rapport with the staff here.

Waiter was very eager. It was a little distracting and uncomfortable. New menu is interesting. But missing a lot of classic items unfortunately.

The atmosphere is always buzzing here. New menu new decor new table arrangement.very cool.food is always good especially the pan garlic bread yum! Cant go wrong with Jack's

Sharing plate of calamari, just enough for 1, served cold and looked like the dipping sauce had come from a used plate as it had food in it, didnt even get it removed from the bill, unlike Scadabush, who have excellent customer service.

Food was great, better then I expected for a chain, and the manager really wants to make this place great by offering us free food for waiting and overall being pleasant! Will go back!

Surprisingly good entree salads. It's been a while but I was disappointed to find the garlic pan bread is both smaller than it used to be and no longer included with pasta mains so costs more for less food at the same time. Dessert fried cheesecake was disappointing too sweet. Would be better if it was a tart fruit in the cheesecake with the sweet dips. Lots of options on the kids menu.

I'm a weekly regular here, all bartenders are great especially Sam and Kat.food is overpriced and mediocre but beer is always good quality and a lot of selection. Some more English/Irish beers such as Kilkenny, Newcastle Brown, Smithwick's or Boddington's would be nice, even if in can form

Food was fantastic. We had finger food. Service nothing to bragg about, it was slow and forgetful, meaning when we asked her for something she never brought it, and when I said something to the server about it she gave me some dumb excuse, meaning it wasn't her fault.

Used this location for a takeout order. Great job! Everything was there packaged nicely. Enjoy my meal.

The restaurant has a great chill vibe and it is very family friendly. The food was great and the wait wasnt too long for the food. The restaurant has great decorations and the staff is extremely friendly as well. All in all it is a great place to go for dinner.

Been here maybe less than 10 times but the consistency of food is pretty good. Most times they taste great but some days they lack flavor or amount of food. Wait times are not always fast and can be between 15 to 20 minutes depending on the order and how much dishes you ask for.

I'm done with this chain and many others. Same story, a place like this starts off as something special. The business expands and they become a big name. Eventually some MBA type starts eliminating what made the restaurant special in the first place. Ingredients go from fresh to frozen. Food is bought on mass purchase and to the lowest bidder. Portions shrink. Everyone eventually comes out of a can or freezer and is microwaved. If this chain is around in 5 years, I'll be surprised. Poutine in a pile in an effort to add some class to frozen fries and powdered gravy. The cheese curds aren't curds, they're just chunks cheese strings. Tacos, not bad, but hardly with 10 bucks. There's a teaspoon of ground beef under the lettuce.

Great location! Very clean, big and the environment is lively. The staff are really friendly. I would have to say that I would make the drive from the jackasstors near my location to come and have a few drinks or bite to eat at this one.

Sehr gutes Essen. Ich hatte Lachs und mit Kartoffelbrei. Der Fisch war noch richtig saftig. Ein echter Genuß. Freundlicher Service und sehr nette Bedienung. Alles Top. 100% Weiterempfehlung.
