Very loud, used to love this place. Now they have a DJ on Thursdays and Fridays. The music was very loud, and terrible. Many patrons requested the volume to be lowered according to the servers

Nachos were great. Fishbowl was nice. Our server paid attention to us even though it was busy.

Staff were awesome. Food is what you expect at Jack’s. The garlic pull apart bread was great.

I was dining here last week with my partner and i was thrilled to see Judy again. She had served me last time I had come to Jacks, she was great, she made sure we were comfortable, and made sure everything was alright.great staff and service, and overall great vibes.

Really enjoyed the experience here. Really fast and professional service, and food portions are large and delicious! The atmosphere was also good.

Had such a great time with Madison as our server. Gave us everything we needed so quickly when we were so hungry! Really appreciate it!

Andy was great! Had a positive attitude the whole time and made our stay enjoyable. Unfortunately the food wasn't that good.

Unbelievably rude manage. On Dec. 3, we came here as a group of 6 people. The music was so loud you would think it's a night club. I don't mind listening to "Push It" at the gym, in my earphones, but over dinner it was a torture. We girls came to catch up and talk, and couldn't hear each other. Heck, even the waiter could not hear us. Even the manager couldn't hear us when she came over! My friend threatened to not pay the bill after our multiple requests to turn the music down a notch were ignored. The manager's reaction was "So, you will be walking out on your bill. We won't be making the music less loud for the whole restaurant just because of you. " Ok, we paid our bills and tipped the waitress (not her fault). But won't be coming back. Ever.

Very loud music to an extent where you can't hear each other. A manager has refused to turn it down.

Had the Nashville chicken sandwich and was pretty happy with it. Place was a bit crowded and tables weren't too far apart from one another but still a decent and fun time.

Great food, Friendly Staff, very clean, close to alot of other shopping in the area.plenty of parking.great drinks (Specialties & the Regulars). You can't go wrong here folks. Oh ya did I Mention just how good the food already lol. AMAZING! You won't be disappointed if this is your choice of place for the night/day to eat, drink, & Enjoy your time out.

Great fun meal! Went to Jack's Vaughn last night for a buddy's birthday. We had a great time- everyone had fun. Food was good and service was excellent. I wish I had caught the name of our server - brunette young lady who was superb. I had the Holy Smoke Burger and it was delicious!

It was okay, too pack given the pandemic situation and very little room to get around, and loud.
Food was good but little on the pricey side.

Terrible experience. Music was very loud, couldn't hear my friends at the table. We asked the waitress three times to turn it down a bit, she came back with the answer" The manager likes it this way". Ok then, manager is paying my bill

Takeout order: sesame chicken stir fry and lobster crab dip. Both delicious and service at the front door was great.

It was by far the worst Jack Astor's experience I've ever had. Server seemed clueless as to what her job was. We had to request simple things several times before they were finally delivered. I asked for a refill of Coke, and she checked in on us twice to see how things were before it was finally delivered. She also asked us how are food tasted. The second it was brought to the table. I didn't have time to put a cry in my mouth. We then waited over 20 minutes for the cheque, I'm not exaggerating.

Food quality was mediocre. Certainly not the best Jack Astor's we've ever had.

Everything was perfect. Food and drinks were good but one thing was even we were busy with our food the lady over there came around 4-5 times asking again & again bout if we need anything. They should not interrupt customers while they eat food.

The noise and music were so loud we couldn't hear each other, i lost my hearing even after i left the place. Staff didn't do anything when we asked to lower volume. This place is not safe for your health. Do not recommend.

I'm not usually a fan of Jack Astors but my recent visit was made the best with Thamodi. Regardless of a busy Saturday night, she was consistently providing excellent hospitality, very personable and overall made my visit more than perfect. I'm definitely coming back again.

Greeting staff wanted to sit us next to a group of 35+ people (looked like staff outing), we asked to move but they didn't put us in a better spot.

Sub par standards. This restaurant is past it's prime. I'm not even an avid drinker but they've limited choices and most of them are cheap ones. Food tastes sub par but the prices are in no way reflecting that.

I had the pleasure of meeting and maintaining a friendship with my bartender Traci! She makes you feel welcome and doesn’t just serve you, she asks you how your day is going and makes you really feel at home! Not to mention, she OWNS that bar. No matter how many customers or drinks there are to make, somehow she’s always on the ball! Way to go Traci! And thanks for the AMAZING service!

Such a great patio space and experience! Simona, my waiter gave us the fastest and funnest experience. She answered all of our questions and gave the best suggestions, we loved the energy mostly because of her!

This place was very busy it's too bad the restrictions can't allow 8 people at the patio but if you are in Vaughan area go to jack astor's

I had a Very friendly visit to my local Jack astors. The bartender, Tracy, was very knowledgeable and enthusiastic. The lobster crab dip she recommended really hit the mark. I will be returning.

The following is not meant to bring down our server but to bring it to the restaurant’s attention. We visited last July 10 was there at about 2: 30pm got a table on the patio within about 10 minutes. 5 adults, 2 kids in our party. Server took our order at an appropriate time even got us a high chair when requested. Great! When she repeated my order back she asked if tomato/ on onions ok on my burger (so she did get my order correct). About 1/2 hour later food came around except for the burger… a mysterious “chicken fingers” was presented which we said was not ours…. The person serving was not our original server. 15 minutes later I was able to motion my server about the burger…. She was unaware and said she would check. She never got back to me until I approached her…. Then kept being told “5 minutes” “5 minutes” …. I asked her if it would be easier for them if I ordered something else …. She said food was coming. My food arrived at the table at 4: 07…… everyone at the table was finished eating waiting for me. I need to say this ……. This was the worst hamburger I have ever tasted…. Sort of like boiled meat. The French fries were great though…. But if I wanted fries I would’ve gone to McDonald’s. When your craving a good burger, you want a good burger. The place got busier as the afternoon went on but we cannot blame covid for that…. I understand the need to sympathize with servers because they have been out of work for quite sometime now but I haven’t …. I actually have had to physically go to work during these times. That afternoon was actually my first patio setting since 2019…. And what a dampener it was. Please pay more attention Jack Astors…. I did email the manager ……. No response

Revisted this location with a gift certificate from management. This time: good food and our server Sara was attentive. Glad I got to give you a second chance.

This is place good to hangout with friends. The food is good but the quantity lacks. The staff is friendly. This place should really work to improve their restrooms

Even during COVID round 1000 they still take things seriously.

Ordered the beef nachos and was actually pretty shocked at how good they were.

Kids had the cheeseburger/chicken fingers and a round of mac and cheese, of those 3 they enjoyed the burger the least but I thought it was good.

Service was really quick and even tho they were busy the waitress was super attentive and kept my kids happy!

My only gripe is they brought the kids crayons to draw on the table, but not for myself. >: (

Was great to finally get out. Entrance host did a great job of seating the family quickly. Service staff are "almost back to the swing of thing". Food was very good, the online menu was different and good idea, I recommend now that the menu is online, there should be a photo of the meal to make things easier when deciding

With the procedures of covid guidelines it was awful.you ask for a drink and you gotta wait a life time for them to bring it.

When I was a kid in the aughts this was a great place to go for dinner with the family. Over the years it's gotten more and more complacent about the quality of the food and the prices have gone up regardless. I have eaten here a couple of times for dates and the like and have never been satisfied for the amount of money I've spent. Jack Astor's best days are far behind them.

The food it was good, but not great. I been there before. It was better. The services was really bad. Waitress took a long time to take the order and bring it too. When I asked for the bill that is the time she brought so fast. Really I will not be going to this place again.

The wait was pretty long. The girl took over 20 min just to give us our waters. Food was pretty good but service was decent

I have being in this location before but in this opportunity the attention was horrible, sadly the waiter's friends are more important than her customers. Food and drinks good as always

For the most part, all was good - a little slow to start, as we had to wait for quite a while for drinks once ordered, though it was early in the evening (around 5: 00 arrival). We also ordered kids meals at the same time so they could get started. When they arrived, I was surprised at the level of spice in the chicken fingers given that they were intended for younger palates. I myself found them to be spicy which may explain why our two kiddos didn't seem to care for them (and they are not usually picky eaters). It would be great if there was a separate version for kids meals instead of just downsizing an adult portion - maybe corporate could give some thought to that?

The food was AMAZING but the service was needing a little work. Some of the servers could use a personality make over. I felt some of them seemed fake.its like they were acting. Maybe they didn't wanna be there, who knows. See I work at a bar myself and I try to be as genuine as possible. I think people can relate better to someone who doesn't act better then they are, no judgements. When we tip, we really should look at the whole package.service, personality, food, price, and presentation and part of that tip should also go to the cook. The way the food looks and tastes will have a huge impact on how the rest of your stay at whatever establishment.
Like I said the food. AMAZING.but the servers needed a little work.but I still gave it 4 stars.i had a great time despite the idiots that work there.

A very similar setup to most chain restaurants like Moxie's, Montana's and others. You don't find much variation here except in the service. As a group of 18 our servers were exceptional in handling our orders and we had no issues at all so that was a pleasant experience. The food I would say is good, it's not bad but it's not amazing. It's a fun place to go for either a sports game or hanging out with friends. The prices I would say are a little higher than what the food is worth and the alcohol as well. Overall it was an enjoyable experience and I would recommend it, I just have qualms with the pricing and the food won't excite you.

Service was good and friendly. It's one of the busier locations on the weekends so usually there's a short wait but if you don't mind sitting at the bar you can get a spot right away if the bar isn't full. Food is fresh and the facilities are well kept.

Terrible service. Waitress obviously didn't want to be at work. Food portions were happy meal size if that!

Food isn't worth the money, no one at my table "loved" their meal. I had the asiago chicken pasta; it was sub-par for the price. The sauce was watery and almost tasteless.

Very friendly staff. Good place for business meeting since they have crayons and paper for you to write or draw.

The food was bad. I ordered the cheeseburger. There were two paper thin patties (think McDonalds patties) and the cheese was processed. The tomato was tiny and shriveled. The presentation was mediocre. I expected a higher quality of food from such a restaurant.

Bartender was snarky when asked a question, the "host" was rude and seemed to be bothered by us being there until management said something. Was celebrating a birthday for a friend and we had 2 beers and left

Not the best location to visit food took long but normally I don’t mind the wait when it finally arrived our appetizer and two mains were wrong bartender was very funny tho don’t remember his name but he was tall and good looking.

Stopped in for dinner around 7: 00 and the restaurant was 1/3 full but the hostest said her manager told her not to seat anymore guests because the kitchen was short staffed and could I just sit a drink at the bar for a while until they catch up! Really what is that about? Not likely I will return as it is clearly poorly managed.

Always has a good selection of food and drink options, love the rotating taps to get some good local beers. Service was very fast considering the Resturant was packed. Service staff could be a bit more friendly but overall a great Resturant for a reasonably.prices meal!

The food was yummy and delicious, the waitress was absolutely helpful in all areas and very friendly. I will recommend this place to all my friends.

There were 4 of us, two of us were in wheelchairs. When we arrived we couldn't see the accessible entrance. A staff came out and showed us. Not easy to get into. The table we were seated at was at the very back of the space. We had to maneuver through the bar section to get there. We were greeted warmly but our server was more intent on having to clean the bar area and eat her own lunch. After asking for a dessert menu, we waited 15 minutes then started to get ready to pay. After bringing our bills, she apologized and grabbed a dessert menu. Too little. Too late.
