Jack Astor's LIIT cocktail is amazing. Strawberry Guava Margarita tasted canny not sure but was replaced no problems. Food poke bowls are always great. Would definitely visit again
I am disgruntled yet unsurprised at how this restaurant has changed with regards to the food. The quality has remained the same, however the portions have gotten smaller while the prices have been increasing. My go-to's were always the Cheese Garlic Pan Bread ($10.72) and Asiago Chicken Bow Ties ($22.96) but it's increasingly difficult to justify these prices when the menu items are standard, run of the mill chain food. This is especially true when you order on a delivery app which charges more for the same pasta $25.26 on Skip and Uber Eats (however, I'm unsure whether this is due to the restaurant or the delivery apps). Either way, the restaurant is not the same.
Ate there tonight spent $105.00 plus tip for the worse food I've eaten in a long time. We ordered 2 asiago chicken bowtie pasta with mushrooms cost $53.86 The chicken was breaded with panko and burnt to a crisp, the sauce was over salted and the sun dried tomato in the sauce tasted like they were pickled in vinegar. The only good part was the Farfale cooked al dente and the mushrooms which were an add in. The Jacks Pan Bread cost $8.72 was not buttery and garlicky but really dry. We ordered a small house salad to share cost $6.58 and did not get a 2nd plate to share it. We had to ask the server for pepper, salt and cream to go in our Vanilla Cold Brew cost $23.94. This whole experience was such a disappointment. It's a Friday night the place should be hopping not dead. This used to be such a fun place to dine with good food, cheery staff and lots of ambiance that made you feel you were special. You alway left there feeling happy and content. Not anymore. People don't waste your money!
We went there as a family after our granddaughter's hockey tournament. The service, food & atmosphere was wonderful. We enjoyed our meal that came quite quickly, with a very hospitable server taking care of all our requests. The kids enjoyed their meal & dessert, we adults were very happy with our food choices. I would recommend this restaurant at anytime. A most enjoyable experience.
The food is delicious more than in other jacks, although I give 5 stars to all of them, the attention as always is wonderful and the atmosphere is pleasant. I don't upload photos of the food because I was with the family and I forgot until there was nothing on the plates.but I highly recommend
Went here about a month ago, was seated in the bar, waitress took our drink order, and then after 15 minutes of sitting and waiting, nothing came. We left and went to the keg next door. Most frustrating part was seeing the waitress walking around doing nothing and chatting with her co-workers rather than realizing its been 15 mins since we ordered our drinks.
Just another restaurant with identical menu. The menu have changed over the years and now it’s not different than any other restaurant around. The food was okay, expensive for the quality.
Been going to this location every Saturday. The last few times food hasn't been as good as well as the Ceasars.not as good. Last week the Manager was rude.but thought I'd give it another chance. Went today and spoke to waitress who informed me there has been a new Management. She was wonderful.but at these prices.and the taste of my steak (been getting the same for months) I'm done with this Jack Astors. Guess it's just the Ancaster location now.so over Burlington location
Service is verry bad, They keep me waiting for ever and they just didn't care, never checked up on me giving update. I complained and Finaly they came with an asss face, and left the food outside unattended for me to get it
I went with my boyfriend yesterday and it was amazinggg! We were sat promptly and our server was Dan (I believe). He was super friendly and easy to talk to. Our drinks came fast as well as our appitizer, we got truffle fries which tasted great. The food was 10/10, we got two burgers and my boyfriend liked the truffle fries so much he got them again as his side for the burger. We finished with the cheesecake which, again, was fantastic. Everything about the whole experience was great from the setting and ambiance of the restaurant to the food to the service. I really enjoyed it and will be visiting again!
Had nachos dinner tonight at Jack Astors on South Service Road in Burlington. Nachos were great (as always) ; DJ’s selection was awesome, but the best part of our night was our waitress Emily. Warm, friendly & extremely attentive. The service was OUTSTANDING! We’ll be back!
The best burger I ever had in my life (already 58 years!), to bad that the restaurant ist more than 4,000 miles away from my home. Friendly staff and nice place close to our hotel, the Comfort Inn.
Pretty cool place with great customer service, a nice environment, and tasty food, but it is expensive against the portions and drinks. 2 cocktails with 2 Hennessey beers (more ice than anything) inside and 1 nachos order with a small pot of meat extra where it was more tortillas than meat.total of $120.so it is better to be prepared, but it's a great place to visit.
