Jack Astor's Bar & Grill Eastgate

We stopped into this location for the 1st time and I'm glad we did. The service was outstanding and the food was even better. I can't wait to go to this location and others again. Left full and satisfied.

Last night steve was my server he is awesome at his job and entertained us with his cool tricks.

We honestly come for the drinks. Food is never exciting. I honestly can't think of one thing on the menu I enjoy coming here for. The drinks are fun though.

Brought my daughter here for her 9th birthday. This is her favorite restaurant. Called to make a reservation. Told them it was my daughter's bday. The staff here went the extra mile to ask me what were some of her favorite things. They wanted to make her bday extra special. Well did they ever. We were brought to a booth that was decorated with Happy Birthday banners, balloons and gifts for my daughter. I mean what an amazing show of pure joy and kindness and the smile on my daughter's face, priceless. She also was treated with a tour of the restaurant. The food and service was excellent. "Best Birthday at Jack Astors ever daddy! " Big thanks to Ashley, Erika and the rest of the team. I mean just about all of the staff took the time to come over and wish my princess "HAPPY BIRTHDAY! " What an amazing experience. See you soon. You guys are best. ️️️️️️️️️️

Wow - best NY striploin I've had in a long time!
Ordered the Memphis, 11 oz steak w/loaded baked potato.my compliments to the chef - my dinner was cooked to perfection!
Your waitress Brooke is quite knowledgable and charming, she really made me feel welcome. Several other of your waitstaff asked if everything was fine, and everyone had a smile on their faces.
I highly recommend this location to everyone!

I have been going to Jack Astors for many years, Centennial in particular. Recently I have noticed a change in management and it has affected my experience at this location specifically. Erika was the manager that had approached my table to address the minor complaint I had. Erika had made me feel like my problem was not a priority, and immediately deflected the issue and was blatantly rude. She was focused on blaming the server, as opposed to taking responsibility of said issue.
This evidently made me want to spend my money elsewhere. I have worked in the industry, and am familiar with how the environment works, and this was the first time I had seen her the entire time I was there. It was not a comfortable experience and I hope things change for this location as it use to be a pleasant experience.

Every TV was playing baseball, so for a sports bar it was frustrating that even after we asked 3 times, they never put on the Ticats Game. Understaffed (who isn't) but I had to ask 3 times for our drinks and it took an hour to get our food.

Food here is very good. My favourite dish is the Mexican chicken bowl! Serving staff are friendly and outgoing. Restaurant is a good size with a pleasant environment

Disappointed. Orderef the buffalo chicken through skip. The order was more than 30 minutes late and was missing the buffalo chicken sauce. I'm not sure why it's so hard to read the order and put in in the bag.

Our server Ally was excellent, she made sure we always had what we needed! Food was done by Kyle and Nick - everything tasted great and was fresh.

Conveniently located. The food was good and worth the price. Host was very nice and professional. The atmosphere was comfortable.

Bread was good, entree wasn't great I had a chicken sandwich. Service was slow.no napkins, salt, pepper, ketchup until we asked.

Ordered take out from this place asked for fried onions on my steak one steak Medium rare the other rare got some kind of potato chip onions on my steak both steaks were almost well done im not happy but I guess you order take out you cant complain paid 105 for my order.funny if you sit down you get real onions ill never ever sit in another jack astors again

Ally was an incredible server, super friendly and accommodating! The cooks Kyle and Nick made the BEST tofu. Highly recommended the Pad Thai with tofu.

Couldn’t believe the terrible experience me and my fellow workers experienced. They new a big party was coming and didn’t not prepare. Took 45 mins to get our first drink. We had to go around the restaurant ourselves to get our own cutlery and our own plates. We had a drink spill on our table we brought it to our waiters attention and she did nothing. I had to and collect napkins and clear our own table. She was rude and I will never go to this location again. Absolutely horrible service! And then I was demanded to give an 18% tip. Good thing I paid cash that’s was not happening.

The bruschetta and bowtie pasta were delicious. I highly recommend it. Erika my server hooked me up with a yummy strawberry daiquiri (sans alchohol). The whole experience was a great midafternoon treat.

Need to start by saying the staff is fantastic. Great food, inconsistently labels spicy food, be prepared you never know if it will be spicy or not. You definitely notice you pay for the corporate monster, so it's a bit more expensive but worth it occasionally.

Fantastic service from or server Ally! All the food came out fast, fresh and delicious. Keep up the great work Lauren and Joey!

My co workers and I went there last night the service was horrible! Our server didn’t tell us her name just took our order of drinks we waited over 45 minutes to receive we didn’t even get water. Our other coworkers got there after us got their drinks way before us I had the easiest drink which was a beer which was the last thing to come did not apologize no remorse. We then ordered our food when my pasta with the chicken came I told her my chicken was very salty she said that had nothing to do with her it was the kitchen she didn’t even asked to take it back and make it better then proceed to give us our checks without even asking if we wanted any coffee or dessert and then told us we needed to give her 18% gratuity gratuity tip! Horrible and just rude!

Went out for dinner. Had Lauren for server.
Pan bread with cheese, assiago bowtie pasta and Chipotle burger with seasonal veggies. Everything was pretty good. Pasta didn't have much sauce and seasonal veggies were very crunchy and weren't blanched very long. Cooks were Kyle and Sarah.
Only other issue was my husband had a few bites of the burger left and server thought he was done and plate was wisked off the table so quick couldn't even say anything. Not a good impression for his first time there. Best to ask customer if they are actually finished and have them respond.

Stopped for supper on our way to Toronto because we heard good things about Jack Astor's.

Chantelle was an amazing server! Great energy and very friendly. She listened to my 3 year olds stories of Niagara even though nobody could understand what he was saying: D

Food was delicious to the point I struggled not to lick my plate clean (I had the beer and cheddar soup).

Definitely on our itinerary next time we are in the area!

Chantelle was amazing! She gave great service and always anticipated our needs, she was quick and super friendly. The last few times we went the service wasn’t as good or tables were sitting dirty leading to a long wait and the manager had a bit of an attitude so this was a big redemption. I’d definitely go back if Chantelle was my server!
