Jack Astor's Bar & Grill London South

Came with my family tonight for some dinner, Had a great time! Service was amazing, the host at the door don’t know her name (tattoos, dark hair), was super helpful and accommodating! Our server Tyler was awesome as well!
Food and drinks were a little pricey but all and all had a great experience, would come again!

Well we just go to eat an music always loud an everyone trying to talk over it to hear each other maybe save the louder music for later hour's

Fantastic service. Really big portion sizes and they have halal options for Chicken which are amazing.

Jack Astors has always been my favourite place to dine. My parents even come down from Sarnia to enjoy the food. We went last night for dinner.to our utter disappointment, they removed the Thai Sesame Chicken Stir fry bowl from their menu.this is what my parents and I get every time we go there! Not a good decision at all. I'm told its the most popular bowl! PLEASE BRING IT BACK!
I ordered a chicken club instead.was very disappointed. I won't order that again. I felt it was just thrown together, with no care at all, sloppy appearance, and mediocre taste.
I will still go there because of the atmosphere, but without my favourite meal, it will be alot less: (

For the price of it, the food was extremely disappointing. It tasted okay, but did not have that wow factor. Service people were friendly and there were quite a few of them. Place wasn't that busy. It was also very loud in there and hard to hold a conversation.

Service was horrible. One of our party arrive later and they had to wait over 20 minutes for a drink. Than we ordered another round only for them to miss a beverage, and bring the wrong one. It would have been understandable if they were busy but it wasn't.
The food was delicious, but it was less enjoyable having to flag down people for service

We ordered the teriyaki chicken bowl; it was delicious. I asked for extra rice and chicken.

The rice was added, but the chicken in the dish seemed to be less than a normal serving. That was disappointing

Ally Z was an awesome server. Just the perfect amount of visiting the table and making conversation. Food was great. Will definitely be back next time we are in London.

I haven’t been out for lunch in a year and decided to dine out at Jack’s. I missed their chicken tenders! Lunch was great, but service was even better! Our server, Niki M suggested to sauce up the fingers and that was a total game changer! Thank you for welcoming me back to eating out with kind and hospitable service!

Ally was an awesome server! We had a mishap with the chicken but she was so kind and brought us back new chicken and free dessert, I give her five stars for her great service. She had an amazing attitude and was super nice!

Food was good but compliments to the server mackenzie J, she had a great attitude and went over and beyond to make our experience the best it could possibly be.

My office used to visit this location on our lunch breaks before covid. So, it was so great to visit again once we were sent back to the office. I missed this tradition and I missed seeing Niki our usual server! She never forgets your fav, usual orders and knows what to recommend. It was awesome to see a familiar face and to get me some of that beer and cheese soup. I’m still a little paranoid about public spaces, but felt very safe here. They did their do diligence!

I've had good service but nothing can compare to our server Natalie M. Absolutely amazing. Everything she recommend we got and let me just say it was not only the food but her phenomenal personality that sold this entire experience. Thanks Natalie!

I haven’t been to a Jack astors in years! We decided to bring the kids for a fun night out. The whole experience was amazing! Fabulous food, the pan bread with cheese was a huge hit especially with the kids! Thanks Chloe L for making this experience amazing! We will be back soon!

I’ve been going to Jack Astors for years, and they always have great food and service. I was having lunch with my colleague the other day and had our regular server, Niki. She’s always so quick and knows when we’re in a rush and gets our bill right away. She also always tells great jokes!

Best place to go for a bruschetta and Asiago bowties!

Very good visit to have dinner Drinks and meal where delicious, our waitress was very good, hadn't been working there very long but was doing a good Job!

Took the family out for dinner tonight and had a subpar meal. Quality at Jack Astors is typically good so maybe tonight was an off night. I ordered the BBQ smokehouse burger, patties were juicy, succulent and well cooked but little things like a half portion of cheese, missing bbq sauce and a stale bun ruined what should have been a great burger. I asked for a side ceaser and received a bowl of 80% wilted head lettuce. No cold and crunchy romain. If restaurants are judged by their ceaser, this one is a huge fail. I returned it and got the side salad, it was not any better. Not sure how they wash and hold their greens for service but their process needs to be revisited. My son's chicken strips and fries were good. My daughters pasta was swimming in cream sauce. My wife ordered the bowtie chicken pasta which is usually good but the excessive char on the chicken made the dish bitter. Whoever cooked the chicken breast should have tossed it and cooked a new one. Son's cookie was good, daughters apples and caramel were also good. Server was pleasant, attentive and quick.

Really pleased with the experience. Service was good. Felt very clean and safe. Food was delicious as per usual.

The new patio outside was lovely. It was comfortable to eat here with lots of space and fresh air. Highly recommend their chicken fingers!

The service was stellar, the staff is super friendly and they are really attentive to detail at this location especially!
I am always impressed at the food with Jack Astors but the past month or so the South London location has been AMAZING. The food is always super fresh and the staff treats me like family. This is the only place that I go that I call feeling confident and assured the food with be delicious and prepared with care.
Even my super picky daughter loves them.

Way over priced! And also the waitress never brought glasses for beer or cutlery for the food. Poor quality of food.

They made us wait out side for a whole hour. Said there were people ahead of us. But also decided to seat folks who were just walking in and seating them in. Which felt like they didnt make a reservation. The worst customer service ever since they basically lied and told us to leave at this Jack Astors location.

*update* we got in the restaurant pretty much after an hour. Food was fine but. Overall restaurant experience at this Jack Astors location is pretty mediocre and unattentive.

Their food is perfect. Steak with crispy onions and potatoe crisps with tomatoe juice. Amazing, I can only get it here. All others screw it up

Great service & the waitress tried her best to accommodate my requests but when you're operating with a computer that doesn't allow to cater to allergies, disappointed. Maybe up the game on the computer services for handling allergies.

As usual the food and service is excellent. My only complaint would be because of covid. We booked a reservation online but when we got there they were just talking first come first served. So we got stuck waiting outside in the cold till we were called in, which was about 15 minutes late. It wasn't horrible, but I think there's a better way to handle people with reservations, like you have to text to check in when you arrive or something. Or at least have the hostess ask if anyone has reservations before calling people in. Just a thought.

I've been visiting this store since I was a child and I can say I have never once had a bad experience. The host's are always so kind and make an amazing first impression as you walk in. The servers and always so knowledgable about the menu items despite the fact that they change ever so often. The food is always incredible and cooked to perfection. I would highly recommend this location to anyone looking for great food with a positive atmosphere!

We decided to get take out for Valentines Day.because of the Pandemic.

Only one staff member working the front desk. This lady was helping people waiting in line for. Food, as well as taking food out to curb side Pickup.
They could have used a couple of more employees servicing employees to hand out food and take orders.

Food was really good.best it could be for take out.
Food was separated in different containers to avoid the food from getting soggy.

My steak was cooked perfectly Med Rare. Impressive for a take out order.

Very disappointed with my order from your restaurant today. I called in my order for 2 orders of Jacked up Chicken Fingers, Sweet Chilli Thai and French fries, 2 orders of Beer and Cheddar Soup and the Blue Raspberry Lemon drink kit.
When I received my order I was given the Blue Raspberry Lemon Box not the kit, waited for the girl to changed it, got home and had no French Fries, called the restaurant was put on hold for 10 mins, explained the problem and was told to come back and get my fries, free of charge, which I had already paid for.
Thank you for the best Birthday Dinner ever, as if 2020 wasn’t bad enough, Jack Astor’s South London is keeping it going.
