I love Jack Astors.go there all the time with Family and friends. I have dietary issues.and l was told that my favourite meal is being taken off the menu July 17th. I was so disappointed at this Please keep Rice dishes which are gluten and dairy free!

Toronto Maple Leafs were in game 5 of the 1st round. It was LOUD, ENERGETIC and a lot of fun but will be honest.the music was WAYYYY TOOO LOUD after the game ended.

Friday night we decided to order Jack's through skip the dishes. So wasn't expecting much.
Let me tell you how awesome and hot the food was. The way the package it was more than perfect! Absolutely amazing food
Had fish and chips and coleslaw and Pasta with a garlic leaf.omg! Microwaved the butter omg! Was the best! Thank you all

Service was wonderful - thank you Elissa! We come on Sundays for the Wonton Nachos off the summer menu. We hope they stay around!

I usually don’t write reviews but thought my server Jacqui needed a shout out because she was AMAZING! I have A LOT of dietary restrictions and I usually either don’t get taken seriously or servers get annoyed having to go ask the kitchen what my options are but Jacqui took it with grace and was super accommodating and made me confident she had it sorted. Everything I ordered was delicious and would recommend coming here to eat but I’ll be coming back for her!

I ordered a poutine fries for 9.99$ when I received it It was a few fries and a few pieces of cheese AND I had to pour the gravy on it. I did not spend 10 bucks on a kids size fry only to have to make it myself

Staff are friendly and service is quick. Food was good, but pricey. I tried the truffle sauce with fries, it was ok, but 3 bucks was a little high. Overall, I would go again, if some acquaintances suggested it, but I wouldn't suggest it myself. Another positive was lots of parking available.

Food and service were great. Unfortunately for a family of four our bill was about $170 - for nothing special. That's just not sustainable. Your prices and costs may have gone up but my salary hasn't. Again the food and service were great but that is not affordable any more

Service was amazing. Food was great only complaint is they need to know how to do well done wife's was not. But other then that great food

We had a great mid afternoon date here. Kelly our server was fantastic! Food was good, beer was cold, service was great.

Place had NO server on the bar side at 6: 30pm on Tuesday June 14th. Instead, traditional serving duties were relegated to the unkempt, LOUD bartender who was more worried about talking about hockey at an ear shattering decibel with his friends instead of serving patrons. This led to an inexcusable wait time just to get my and my date’s order in. Will not be returning to this location anytime in the future. Really sad stuff.

I visited Jack Astor's with my daughter and had the greatest experience with our server Bobby. Not only that but we were greeted with such kindness and joy by the host Kailey. Kailey and Bobby went above and beyond to make sure we had a good time. A thank you to the kitchen as well for the delicious bruschetta and Buddha salad. We enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere. A nice place to go after a hectic day.

Food and atmosphere were lovely. We had a toddler running crazy on the patio and a fussy little babe and no one was judgemental

Wish I took photos, there were 4 of us and we each got something different and everything was just so so good. From burgers to pasta.

This was our first time back at Jack Astors in quite some time and it was such a good experience. Elissa was our server and she was so kind, attentive, and genuine as though we were old friends! She answered all of our questions and made recommendations to us and didn’t steer us wrong. It’s easy to see that they value their guests and we will definitely be back!

Restaurant was empty with maybe 2 people in the bar area. We waited 20 minutes for drinks, almost an hour for food. And when the food finally came out, one of the meals was incorrect, the other was ice cold and had to be sent back to the kitchen to be reheated. Complete disappointment as this used to be my favourite place to go. I can't understand how service could be so slow or why there was such a long wait with an empty restaurant at 930 at night.

The nicest staff ever, wonderful atmosphere with very friendly helpful people everywhere, the steak was trash and way over priced though. Chicken was decent though!

Food wasn't great, service was okay but not attentive nor did the waitress check in on as. We aslo ordered 2 drinks but was charged for doubles. We were never asked to Jack Up our drinks

Very expensive I ordered Nachos with a friend ended up costing us each over 20$ the hardly had stuff on then, they were very salty and really spicy even though we ask no Jalapeños and the guacamole was sweet and tasted like mayonnaise was added to it. So we were both very disappointed and will not go back as even if we said so they didn't seem to care about it.

Delicious food and very generous portions. The staff very attentive to our table and very friendly.

It had been quite a few years since I ate at a Jack Astor's. I, as well as two others at my table, ordered the fish & chips plate. The 2 fillets of Haddock were accompanied by an abundant bed of fries, a small not too tangy helping of cole slaw, a tub of a mild but tasty tartar sauce, and of course, ketchup. I had to ask for more ketchup for the abundant fries. The fish coating was not oily at all - bravo! The service was good. My own personal downside was the loudness of the music, but I suppose that fits with being a bar.

We had reservations but got here 40 minutes early. We were seated right away. Servers were super friendly, Kevin the manager came to check on us personally. Food was fresh and delicious. We will definitely come back to this location.

Great music, good food, great drinks. A good place for a casual fun night out. Great for kids too

Good food, good atmosphere. Parking wasn't great and there wasn't a lot of space between tables.

Went there for dinner and waited on the table for 30 minutes for anyone to approach our table and at least offer us a glass of water, no one came to us so we left

Honestly one of our worst experiences at a Jack Astors in a while, the food was overcooked and I just didn't feel like it was worth $21 a burger. Luckily one of the meals was comp'd as they gave us the wrong order and I was finished my meal before my wife got hers. Also the server was really defensive about the chicken parm sandwich that tasted like rubber and made my wife puke after eating it.

Found a hair in the garlic bread and the bread was cold as well. Other table complained of slow service.

Food was okay. Service was good.
Pad Thai was not very tasty. Bruschetta was missing garlic.

Our server Julie was a delight and very helpful, as she was drenched from heavy rainfall.
Our food was good and served as ordered.
We will return and hopefully see Julie as our server.

We ate lunch on the patio which was beautifully set up, clean and service was great! Food was outstanding but the wait just for a table was a bit too much, my only complaint!

After not being to a restaurant since February 2020 we were excited to be back here! We called ahead to see if we could make a reservation (assuming everyone else in Niagara also would like to eat out) we were told they don’t take reservations, it’s first come first serve (absolutely understandable) when we arrived our hostess showed us a few tables, and we asked if it would be possible to have the one in the partly shaded area, she said “no sorry, that table has been reserved”.
When our waitress took our drink order, we were told one of the beers we asked for was sold out. Minutes later a table next to us had the beer we asked for. We asked for waters with our drink order, no water was brought. We asked again, one water was brought. The chicken that was ordered tasted off, to the point it was inedible. Our waitress did not come back to see how things were, the hostess stood at the podium texting the entire time we were there. After what felt like an eternity a different waitress came to clear our table, and minutes later our original waitress returned to ask if we wanted the bill, upon the bills arrival we were shocked to see it was the equivalent of The Keg. Insanely disappointing and absolutely not the restaurant we remembered.

Food was very good, chicken parmigiana and pasta and steak and fries were perfect, service was great, and good luck to new server Kelly who did a great job.

Ordered takeout and bad choice.
Ordered chicken fingers, salad, fries and dessert and they couldn't make the items proper.
Chicken fingers were done well but they put the hot chicken fingers in the container and then put the cold salad on top, which upon takeout makes it soft, mushy and not fresh/wet looking salad.
Also, they put the fries in the same bag and wow.made the salad worse. Had to throw it out as no longer crisp, croutons which should be hard were like soft wet bread and no flavour.
Dessert brownie was delicious but one would think to put the cold items together with the salad.
The fries tasted like day old McDonald's fries and ate a few since I was hungry and threw out the rest.
The last part was the surly and burly gentleman who picked up the phone, answered the call, came outside and beckoned to me to come to him even though their signs say trunk curbside drop off.
Complained they were busy and had many orders. Left them on the ledge and before I could say anything was gone inside.
Overall, I've had better food and customer service experience at a McDonald's and at least I get a smile.
Buyer beware and would recommend you go to the establishments in the area for a meal and bite to eat.

Food was alright. Prices are expensive had to sit under a tree with bugs flying or falling onto our plate. First time here and wasn’t the best experience. Our waiter was super nice though she seemed to really like her job.

Nice sunny patio! Best to make a reservation during the pandemic, otherwise, if you're not picky about your seating you can walk in. Great food as always! They have food for all tastes & diets.

Went on Father's Day under new Covid regulations. Small wait, process was quick to get in, waitresses were prompt and efficient. Food was hot and came out quickly.
Their outdoor patio was set up very nice. Enough shade and plenty of space.

Ordered the chicken finger family box and it was phenomenal. Some of the best fried chicken I’ve ever had. Fries were just as fresh as they would’ve been table service. Amazing garlic bread and top notch Buffalo and ranch sauce. Pretty much a perfect experience.

First time out in many months out for a meal with my sisters. Best part of the meal was the service. Virgin Caesar had no garnish and way too much mix. (Too much money) Appetizer was ok but very small and also way too much money. Meal was so disappointing. I could have done this at home for a fraction of the cost. Once again, overpriced. Please do not confuse my comments about cost with being frugal. I have no problem paying for a good lunch providing the meal is properly portioned, appetizing and satisfying. Will definitely be my last time there. Did I mention the cost? All three meals were relatively the same. My sons would have left hungry and went home to eat more!

I ordered wings for dinner tonight and I like my wings saucy. When we sit in a restaurant and I order wings I even say "as if individually dipped in a bucket of sauce" to illustrate my point.

My wings arrived and they were bone dry. There was a container of sauce that had separated which they added as extra sauce. I called and spoke to the GM Erin who assued me that the wings had been bucket tossed "twice". I don't think she believed me when I said that can't have been the case.

I took pictures but unfortunately can't post them here. One picture of the wing as received, and one where I put sauce on it (after mixing the sauce up).

They did offer to refund the cost of the wings. I haven't as of yet followed up to se of that has happened.

Pleasantly surprised. The food was outstanding. Service was great. My only issue is I completely forgot to take pictures of the food.

We stopped in for quick lunch.its a nice and clean place. It wasn't too busy but it took a while for the server to come see us, then to refill our drinks and it took a while for someone to acknowledge us when we were done and try to pay our bill. Food was good, I had the Mexican Salad bowl, the Smiling Buddha looked really good as well.

Good food, friendly service. The entryway was a little confusing, but we found a table. Only reservation I had was the food was VERY salty. I mean, I get why, given that they serve a lot of alcohol, so they want to keep you thirsty to make you drink more, but there's a point where a lot of salt becomes too much salt. I had to stop eating my food halfway through the meal.

It isn't a place I frequent, but it is somewhere I would return to. I would just ask them to take it easy on the salt next time.

Well the food was only okay. The air conditioner was not working and our waitress was not friendly. No discount for eating in the heat. Also it was a birthday get together for my mother in law who turned 72. Party of 20. Not happy.

Such tasty food and a pretty great beer variety! The server (s) we had were great and super on point. Even when we dumped a glass on the floor by accident. Thanks for a good fathers day meal and glass!

Well, I will say the place looked great, service was good, and the food was good.but the prices were ridiculous. One large draft, one pint, one calamari, and one nacho's with meat.taxes and tip $64 bucks. Won't go back there because of the price. Will stick with Bugsy, Lazy Lizard, Feathery Pub, Wooden Nickle.all just as good but easier on the wallet.lesson learned.
