Went numerous times with fam it's very small family restaurant with so many amazing dishes very cozy my favorite authentic Chinese food I wish them continued success because they are so friendly and wonderfull can't wait to go back be careful the portion sizes are big but bring the rest home a must try

As delicious as ever! I enjoy the steamed fish. The fortune cookies now come with vanilla or orange or chocolate flavour.

Excellent food and outstanding service at Jadeland. We recently had a family birthday party there and I mistakenly left a birthday card with $100 inside it on the table. I realized my mistake when I got home and called and they had put it aside for me and we picked it up two days later and all the money was there. Not everyone would be so honest. Had a lovely lunch with my family. The food was delicious. We got vegetable fried noodles, General Tao, and stir fried snow peas tips.

Also that staff were all very nice and welcoming.

We usually go to Yangtze for Sunday dim sum but their reservation policy has changed and they don't take reservations for less than 6 people. Decided to try Jadeland based on their online menu and reviews. They did not disappoint! We will go here from now on. We ordered a noodle dish and a few classic dim sum dishes. Everything was so flavourful! The restaurant is on the smaller side but they were busy so it was a bit of a wait for our food.it was worth it. You could tell that everything that came out was freshly made. Yangtze is good but not sure how much their food is "made to order" compared to Jadeland. Friendly staff, felt family owned. Highly recommend if you're a seasoned vet when it comes to dim sum, not in a rush and want some elevated flavours.

I went into Jadeland just because I was in the area and wanted a bite to eat. I found the food to be standard American style Chinese food at reasonable prices. The staff were friendly and the decor was dated, but reasonably clean.

We only go here for dim sum on Sunday a couple times a year, so I have no idea how good the items on the regular menu may be. Jadeland is our new dim sum spot, as our other two long-time standard places declined in quality and atmosphere over the past several years. Everything today was fresh and tasty. There are only about 6 or 7 tables in this small place, but the one server was attentive and efficient. She spotted a duplication in our order, and made sure we got what we meant to order.

We went for dim sum again Sunday at 11: 30, and were seated at the only empty table. Everything was perfect. The single server was taking care of everyone, and food was flowing smoothly from the kitchen to the tables.

Ordered for delivery and was the best Asian food I’ve had in Ottawa! Food is super fresh and very nice staff, they took the time to explain menu items. I had the chicken and salt fish fried rice aswell as the salt and pepper shrimp (my fav)

Excellent food at a very reasonable price. One of my favourite chinese restaurants in Ottawa. Glad they are open for dining in again.

Sorry, just not a great meal here. Had a congee which tasted overwhelmingly of white pepper, and our veggies/tofu on the side were poorly done. Maybe we didn't order the right things for the style of cuisine, but just wasn't happy with it.

The absolute best chinese restaurant in Ottawa.

Absolutely legendary spot.

Not cost-effective for delivery. I live in Centertown and they charge $4 for delivery plus tip to the driver - the same person doing the delivery so say, $6 total just for delivery? Not even the food delivery apps charge this much for delivery to my place from anywhere in Chinatown. This is gouging.

I had not eaten here in years but, we ordered from here on Christmas Eve. After waiting well over a hour, our food was finally ready. I was frustrated, but these folks were busting their butts to get the orders out as quickly as possible. It was just a busy time everywhere. The food was so delicious that my husband said it was the best he has had and I said that I would do it all over again and wait for the food. That is how good their food is. Cannot wait to order from the again.

When you enter, don't be deterred by the plastic draping. Esthetically, it's a highly unusual and unwelcoming pickup experience (hopefully temporary, due to COVID), but the food is very good and the service, friendly. Just be sure to order ahead of time, especially on a weekend. Skeleton staff works very hard and the results are tasty.

Amazing and authentic! Great service. This is the only place my Chinese family will eat when we go out in Ottawa.

My family and I have been coming to this place for over 20 years and it is by far still my favorite restaurant in Ottawa. Their #224 (beef fried noodles) is always on our order.

Amazing Food. This is one of those special places. I was first brought here many years ago and I try to go whenever I'm in the area. When family comes from out of town everyone is eager to go eat here. Highly recommend.

The worst food ever. 87.00 worth of disgust. Never have I heard of chow mein with no sprouts and lemon chicken that we could not even chew. Very disappointing.

While I wasn’t able to celebrate the Lunar New Year with friends, nor able to share laughs, good food and well wishes for the year ahead, I did want to take the opportunity to reflect on these great memories.

I ordered some of my favourites (ahead of time) and scheduled a pickup for later that day. No issues.

Despite the challenges these days, the service was friendly. The wonderful food served as a gateway to past memories. It left me smiling and hopeful for what will be.

Doing a great job of keeping things neat and distanced for COVID! The food was great too and didn't take long to be ready

Ordered the Kung Pao chicken and fried shrimp noodles. The Kung Pao chicken literally was 3/4 veggies and was not even resembling a kung pao chicken meanwhile the shrimp noodles were first of all not fried and second more greens than noodles, and minimal shrimp. Will not be coming here again.

Instead of having an outgoing message that they're closed, they pick up the phone and breathe into your ear for 20 seconds, then hang up without saying anything.

Have been coming here for years. Excellent food and service! Szechuan spicy soup is a favourite of mine. Great place to go in Chinatown.

My favorite chinese restaurant in Ontario! I always visit here whenever I go to Ottawa. The place is clean and plenty tables, but not to many. The owner and server are very friendly and greets with lovely smiles. The food is absolutely fantastic, I love to order fish sauced egg plant, black peppercorns beef on sizzling plate and won ton soup. I was never disappointed at this restaurant. The price is very reasonable for a large portion. Highly recommend this place!

A wide variety of food on the menu, food was good, the food was fresh and flavourful. Staff offered good service. Prices were reasonable.

We used to be regulars but now think we won't be. It's become over priced the portions smaller and not as flavorful. I think it's had its hayday has passed or has new cooks in the back.

Not the best Chinese place for delivery but pretty good with not too much MSG. I would recommend the ginger and pineapple beef, the garlic spare ribs and the Cantonese chow mein. Unfortunately, they never seem to have the fried crab claw, which they don't tell you till you are waiting for your delivery.

Wait staff really know their stuff and made excellent recommendations. Will have to go back with a group to take advantage of more dishes.

Authentic Oriental food so tasty we enjoyed so much, thanks, I will visit again next time when I come to Ottawa

I enjoyed eating Chinese food in this Jade land Chinese restaurant. It was tasty food and the price is reasonable.
However, this restaurant is located on a very busy Somerset street. But, they provide a free parking.

We went here twice thinking maybe the first bad visit was an anomaly. The chicken was stir fried chicken fat. My friend’s vegetables had visible blemishes. We won’t give it a third chance.

Love this place. Best salt and pepper pork in town!:) Always wanting to come here and when I do I'm happy I did came here. I've never had bad food or bad service. I also appreciate the complimentary tea every time. It is always good. Small place and big taste.

Serving speed is really fast, however the food tho. I ordered my go to congee (pork and salted egg, I guess that is the English name? Never really paid much attention to their English name since I read order in Chinese) whenever available (lots of restaurants have this congee and its taste is usually consistent like McDonald's across all restaurants I went, very common congee), this probably the worst one I ever had. I havnt had any surprises up until now. The meat, doesnt taste right.a different kind of meat I guess. Right, I am picky, the side dish was not too bad, but that was my first time trying that dish.well other than that, it was a good experience.

Best Chinese food I've ever tried! Excellent hidden little restaurant with lovely staff. The sizzling black pepper beef, lemon chicken, crispy noodles and egg rolls are some great dishes! Highly recommend trying!

Hands down the best wonton soup in Ottawa. Obsessed. Love their food. Hidden gem with amazingly sweet staff.

Best chines food in the city

I have been coming here since i was vary young and me and everyone i have brought here has loved it.it is defiantly a good place to go if you want amazing food.the service is not that good (only about 3 stars) but the food makes up for it.

J'ai commandé un plat de nouilles avec du boeuf, du poulet et des champions à emporter. Les nouilles baignaient dans l'huile, il n'y avait pas de boeuf, ni de champignons et seulement quelques miettes de poulet. J'adore la nourriture asiatique et ce restaurant n'en ait pas du tout représentatif. C'est vraiment le pire que je connaisse. Je n'ai même pas réussi à finir mon plat tellement qu'il me donnait mal au ventre.

Si j'avais cuisiné moi même ça aurait été meilleur, et je suis mauvais cuisinier!
Nouilles extrêmement grasses (trop) avec des legumes surgelés, viandes quasi absente et surgelé
Je ne vous recommande absolument pas ce restaurant, il ne représente pas la cuisine asiatique.
