Jane Park Plaza Walk-In Clinic

I am giving it a 1 star because I can't give it zero stars. I was checked in at 10: 15am I was told the wait would be one hour. I waited around 1.5 hours, this wasn't an issue as I saw it was busy. When I went in with my son I waited another 10-15 min for the doctor to see him. I told Dr. Abouanaser that I think my son has strep. He did a swab and said he would be back in 5 min. NOW this is where I am upset.he came back in 45 MIN I was in the office for 45 MIN waiting for my 5 min results because the Dr. Abouanaser decided to take a meeting and not let me know. I notified the nurse I was waiting for 30 min and she knocked on his door and he told her to wait a few min, this took another 15 min. When he came out of his meeting he went to the other patient who wasn't seen yet and still didn't provide me with the results of the swab test. Once he was done with the patient. He didn't even see me. He went to the front got a prescription and told me yeah he has strep here is a prescription he didn't even ask if my son was allergic to anything.door wide open, while the nurse walked in to clean while I was still in there.

This experience was horrible I will never be going back. The doctor needs to prioritize his patients. I had my son laying down in the office sick for 45 MIN after waiting 1.5 hours. When there are signs in the office saying you'll have a prescription in 5-10 min! Even my son made a comment.

If the doctor plans on taking a meeting next time he should finish up with the patient he just saw!

Informed Dr. Ibrahim Magdy that I had a throat infection that was spreading to my ears causing excruciating pain. Ignored it and prescribed me a mouth wash for sore throats instead of amoxicillin to fight the infection and told me to just let it run it's course.

I know the difference between a sore throat and a throat infection as I've experienced both.

Unhelpful and a waste of money and time.

Edit: responding to the owner. No I'm not a doctor, but like I said, I know the difference between a sore throat and a throat infection because I've experienced them both before.

So I walked over to the walk-in clinic at 911 Jane around the corner and got the prescription I needed. Now here's the difference with the doctor over there and Dr. Ibraham.

The doctor at 911 Jane Street let me explain my symptoms and he LISTENED to why it was different from a sore throat.

Dr. Ibrahim on the other hand sat me down and asked me a series of questions that were unrelated to the reasons why I checked in, didn't bother to acknowledge my symptoms because apparently I don't know my own body?

This isn't the first time I've been inflicted with this infection and I remember clearly what this because of how excruciating the pain is in my throat compared to a simple sore throat. Sore throats don't burn the middle section of your ears and cause pressure to build up like a throat infection does.

Called in a day Prior to make sure that they do take in walk ins which was a bonus. Left work early to be seen, waiting in line until it was my turn to be registered at the desk to be seen. Proceeded to give the Asian receptionist my temporary healthcard paper. She then asked if I had my old card, that’s when I told her I recently lost my wallet. She then said I need to provide ID- so once again I told her I lost everything in my wallet- once again she asked for me to provide ID- once again I told her ma’am I lost everything in my ID.she followed my by don’t you have a passport. I said no i do not! That’s when she said next time have ID or you won’t be seen and I will make a note on your file that if you don’t have ID then you can’t be seen… told her don’t worry I won’t be back…

Washrooms are out of service so all urine samples have to been done at the nearby time Hortons and that’s what they gave me for my sample.

Been coming here for some time now I must say for a walk in clinic they are pretty good the doctor is amazing

Usually a good walk in clinic, however I did blood work and expected them to call with the results. Instead, when I called I was told the doctor looked at them and didn’t tell the Secretary to call me even though the results were necessary before I proceeded with further test.

Considering how difficult it is now a days to see a doctor, this clinic still functions great. All of the reception staff are kind and helpful. Dr Ibrahim is an absolute gem. He is very understanding and patient. He will get you the help that you need, and if he can not do it, he will send you where can.

Rude Staff. Receptionist had issues with confidentiality and privacy. Started with registration. Asked questions loudly in the front of people there. When said that I would write for her, she responded, “we do not have a space for you” (it was before the noon).

This walking clinic is great, but it needs some work done with the office assistants for example: I can sit over here and tell you why every patient is here the space is limited and they would ask you why you're here which could be a confidential issue. You can tell everyone is really uncomfortable with telling them why they're here but other than that they are great.

Better than most, decent wait time. Front staff are adequate. Doctor is what you'd expect.

Very disappointing experience. Receptionist was very rude. Was there 5: 20 PM and they refused to take us in despite them advertising that they take in patients until 7: 00 PM.

If you ever happen to need to go this clinic, you better hope you don't end up getting the old bald doctor with glasses. Totally rude and unprofessional doctor who cuts your talk explaining your severe problems and who rushes to conclusions just so he can get to the next patient for money. I really wonder how that man is still employed and people have not complained yet.

The people at this walk-in clinic are very rude. I called just now because my mother needs to get two prescriptions filled. She cannot come there because she is very ill with cancer and the rude receptionist said well she has to come in. That's the rules. Go f yourself!

From the first day I went to the walk-in clinic the service was excellent. Mariana received me and I felt at home. Then I met Viviana and her dedication was incredible, thanks to them when I need a walk-in clinic without a doubt I attend here without hesitation.

Staff does not know what they are doing. I filed a report against them. I actually tried contacting the clinic multiple times to speak with the owner of the clinic the reception gave me the run around told me he's here this day u call oh he's only here this day took 2 weeks for them to tell me he works at the pharmacy next door.

I came to get my heart checked. It hurted for no reason, and the receptionist didn’t even ask for the symptoms, she right away told me to go to emergency. I was not welcomed there!

First time they stopped taking patients almost an hour before closing, claiming they were full.
Second time around doctor didn’t fill the forms correctly, so had to go yet again. 3 trips for one concern. On the plus side, the wait times weren’t too long, but dr. Ibrahim is afraid to fill forms for insurance.

Staff is very professional and friendly. I've had an amazing experience, staff was so hands on and caring. My toddler fell cut his forehead open, they didn't turn us away. So helpful save us a trip to ER, which can be so hectic on weekends plus flu season.

My pharmacy called for wait times this past Saturday morning and was told 5 minutes. I drove directly there, (a five minute drive), and ended up spending over 2 hours waiting. So much for honesty. Staff rude, barely speak English and un-co-operative, loud and ignorant. Power tripping. Never again. Would give a negative 5 if possible. Run from this place. Still awaiting x ray results that were taken on Saturday, Dealing with possibly pneumonia here people. The worse service ever and im 75.

Waiting time is much less than expected, but this is based on the Doctor doesn’t check through carefully, he just spend 3 minutes for my eye infection and told me that’s allergies. When I was trying to ask more questions about my other health issues he just told me that’s okay and ran to the other patient! Didn’t even say bye to me! So rude! He give me a prescription that far more than I was supposed to get. I went to Costco Pharmacy and the pharmacist told me I don’t even need half of the drugs. I will never come to this clinic anymore!

Nasri is a nice doctor, I have the pleasure to know. I am grateful to have met her. She is always on time. She never rushes you. Wonderful doctor. People at the front desk too are very kind and cheerful. I recommend to my family and friends.

Short wait times. Professional and polite staff. Doctors only have time for one issue but still listen and provided referrals to specialists just to be safe. The lady who did bloodwork was effecient and got it done quickly, which I appreciate because other locations have had a hard time finding my veins. Would be nice of the doctors had more time to ask questions but for a walk-in clinic this is a really good one.

I went to this doctors office today and was disgusted with the way I was treated!
The doctor was annoyed from the second he walked in to the room.
He was rude and seemed like he was in a rush to get me out the door. I have gone to this doctors office many times in the past.
The doctors here don’t care about your health! If they did they would treat you with respect and compassion and at least try to figure how they can help you.

This is my first time to visit Jan park medical clinic. I find it very professional. I am glad to know them. Dr. Leo is amazing. He is caring and very knowledgeable. Sure to come again if needed.

Nice staff. Thought Canada had free health care, yet there's a "new rule" where they want $20 for a doctors note. Didn't think I would walk out with an empty wallet.

They lied to me on the phone and said I could leave a deposit for a lost health card. I drove sick all the way over there. Wasted my time and further delayed my recovery

This place charge for a copy of lab test claiming it is their policy. However, policy has not been published or never inform when we undergo medical test with them. All the other labs provide online access medical reports. When I inquire this, staff was rude.
Finally I had to pay for the reports. So better to go other lab for your medical test. You will get free access to your reports and faster service.

Some staff members are nice and some are not. However, doctors are nice and accommodating.
