Is been 3 months of hell and nightmare with this place. I have a police case open and transport minister Ontario case open about a car a buy 3 months ago and I just reverse it

Got a vehicle from these guys December 2nd, 2023, we have had nothing but issues since we got the vehicle to the point where I refuse to drive it. Here are the issues as followed.
1. First day of having the vehicle noticed front tires had very little tread on them and hubby almost ended up in a ditch, then I almost T-boned someone because the vehicle wouldn't stop due to snow and bald tires. Contacted the company and apparently the front tires were sitting on the floor of the shop, they said to get a quote from a tire place here so they can rectify the issue, January 19th, 2024 and still haven't gotten the new tires as the company is really hard to get ahold of.
2. Noticed the traction control light was coming on, so took it to our mechanic to look things over as we also felt like there was sliding going on in rear end of the vehicle. Mechanic looked at the vehicle and told us a few things that was wrong with the vehicle, front tires shouldn't have passed safety, rear rotors shouldn't have passed safety, and error codes popped up when you plugged the machine in under the steering wheel. Hubby called service department at Janex and the guy was quite rude and told us that the mechanic was making stuff up so we could get free stuff out of them. Which is not the case at all I would like to have a safe vehicle to drive with my children! So me and the mechanic contacted the MTO here and got them to do an inspection on the vehicle and then forwarded the report to Janex on or around December 18th, 2023 and still never heard back from them, left voicemails asking for a manager to call me. Finally got a call back on January 10th, 2024, the guy told me to send him the quote to have the rear rotors replaced and for the tires (again) and sent both quotes the following day. It is now January 19th, 2024 and still have not heard anything if they have paid the bills for the tires and repairs so we can drive a safe vehicle, if we didn't need this vehicle I would cut my losses and send this vehicle back and I will not be recommending this place to anyone looking to get a vehicle! Oh and to boot we are financing this vehicle even though we can barely drive the damn thing!

I bought a bmw 2013 328I 2 years ago from them with a warranty cost me (5000$) before the purchase they told me they repair the timing chain problem, after 3 month my check engine light came on the dash i been several time to their garage they told me nothing its included in my reparation when i had full coverage warranty i change the thermostat at another garage because they told me its not included. I been 20 times to their garage they told me its was the timing chain problem they probably didn't repair it good and they don't want to assume i talk many time with the manager he didn't help me he kicked me out of the dealership. Im stuck now with a 4000$ problem in my car i do not recommended at all buying car from them u will put all your money on reparation.

The worst experience ever. Stay far far away from them. They just scam people over and over again. Check out Yelp reviews. Do NOT BUY FROM THEM. I’ve been waiting on my weather tech mats since feb. They had to rewrite my bill of sale 6 times because of all the extra hidden fees I kept questioning and demanding they remove. They won’t fix mistakes. Return calls or remotely give you what you’ve paid for. I have emailed, texted, called and been put on hold for the last 6 months. They have no intention of giving me what I paid for. I have been told the mats are in the mail, being delivered or are shipped out constantly. They just make up lies and excuses so you will leave them alone. It’s disturbing that so many employees follow management / owners leadership in scamming people. Just to give you an idea about the extra hidden fees, if I financed through them and didn’t fight their fees I would of been paying an additional $6000 over 3 years. Scam artist. Stay away. There’s a lawsuit against them for how awful they are.

Do not recommend this dealer. Purchased a car a year ago, although it seemed to be a good deal at the beginning with the salesman (Sal), I ended up having up having to pay more than promised at the time to hand over the car. Since it was my first car purchased felt that I felt like I had no choice since I had given the down payment. The price was shot up by “protection packages”. Better off negotiating on marketplace.

Very satisfied with the customer service from Janex auto sales. Abbas was very helpful and provided all details and help immensely also we are new comers to Canada. Really appreciate the help we got from them!

I bought a Toyota Rav4,2010, my sales person was Kovadis. The purchase was smooth, the sales person did not push me to buy any of the cars, and was explaining about the cars I selected, and showing me the car proofs until I decided to take the Rav4.
In addition, I found little noise a day after buying the car, I returned next day and brought this issue to Kovadis and manager, who instructed to fix the car immediately (it was driver bearing) without any additional costs.
They did not add any fees, other than government taxes and government registration fees, no other additional fees at all.
The shampooing which is done in a nearby garage, was very bad all although was done twice. However, I am happy that I bought my car from this company and got served by the sales person Kovadis.

It was the best experience I've ever had shopping for a car. They have a wide variety of cars at very competitive prices. Sal was absolutely a delight to work with. He is knowledgeable and helpful of all my inquiries. Though I wasn't able to buy a car from them, it was still a very pleasurable experience. Highly recommend this dealer

I asked more than a couple of times for all the documents regarding the sale and when I double checked them after I got them, the price they sold us the car for was more than what we agreed on. The biweekly payment was also increased and they did not let us know about it. They sugar coated everything which made it sound fishy. I trusted them and I should have had a little more discretion when signing the papers. They delivered the car on time but with the dealership plate. I had to drive all the way back again to get my actual plates.

Very happy with Janex. I dealt with Sal for a Volkswagen and he was very helpful, professional, he respected my time, and super knowledgeable.

I got great value for my 2011 Ford Edge when I traded in for an awesome 2018 Ford Edge with just over 52,000 km. Sal and Jude helped to smoothly transition to the new and improved Ford Edge. I bought a car from Sal this week, it was a 2017 Chevrolet Sonic, my first car and I really love it. It's such a peppy car and with mileage at only 53k km, I got such a great deal! At first I didn't know what I was looking for, but the Salesman helped me find a car that fit my needs.

Me and my husband just bought a car from Sal, we bought a 2019 Volkswagen Jetta R-Line that was basically brand new! Sal helped us with the financing and he got us approved and ready to roll the same day. Lovely team over there too, very nice receptionist and generally positive environment overall. Recently bought a 2017 Mini Cooper S from them. A quick experience overall, but during the pickup process the salesperson just left me at the table there to go to another appointment, leaving me there for around 15 minutes until what seemed to be the supervisor called him to come back. This happened 2 times during the pickup, which threw me off a bit. The detail on the car was also lacklustre and could have been done alot better (There was still salt from the winter in the drivers footwell) especially considering that I had paid an extra $800 for a detail among other things. Would possibly recommend to a friend, but personally wouldn’t go back myself.

I got a used 2013 Nissan Murano here. It was a really good experience with a good deal. I'm so enjoy talking with them, they made me feel relaxed and sincere.

Went in to see a 2009 Honda fit. The dealer was charging more for the car than others but refused to change service items due for replacement such as the battery, to make good on the car despite their higher price and their high service fee. The dealer did not want to fix a rear brake problem on the car if it didn't interfere with safety certificates, even though it made driving the vehicle more difficult and was an immediate maintenance concern. The deficient items would have resulted in service soon after taking ownership of the vehicle regardless at my cost. My argument was that for the price they were charging, they should have sold a complete car, which they were not. I do not appreciate the lack of good will and business acumen from this dealership.
Edit: After leaving this review, Sal started texting me in a threatening manner with accusations of slander. He demanded I remove this review. He continued harassing me with these text messages even after I told him to stop harassing me. To make matters worse, he used my deadname to address me in the most recent messages, something he would not have known unless he went digging through some personal information, such as the legal name change certificate that he saw when I visited them. Deadnaming is a dangerous process of using a transgender person's previous name before coming out, in a manner designed to harm or endanger the individual, and it if quite hurtful to the person's sense of self and security. It saddens me to say that this business is not 2SLGBTQ+ friendly.
2nd edit: They claimed on my wife's review of their location that they cleared things up with me but they never did. They also told her that I was more interested in their salesman than buying a car. As a lesbian, I find this incredibly homophobic and plays with transphobic stereotypes that are dangerous. The lying from the owner is very disturbing. I stand behind my original assessment that this dealership is most definitely not 2SLGBTQ+ friendly, avoid at all cost. Worst dealership experience of my life.

I like their selection of cars, a young italian salesman helped me get a car for my daughter yesterday, and she can’t wait to pick up her car. Great young guy that knows his stuff and is honest enough to admit when he doesn’t know the answer to things. We’ve been at many dealerships in the past couple days, and we decided to purchase here because of the great service and how honest the salesman was. I look forward to picking up the car!

What a wonderful team there at Janex, I was first greeted by Sal, and he walked me around the lot, he was very knowledgeable about cars and about the specific SUVs that I was looking at.

They weren’t pushy at all, very nice people. I decided to come back another day and purchased a 2018 Mercedes-Benz GLA. I really like how they don’t pressure their customers into buying cars.

Once again, I just want to recommend this dealership to everyone, and especially French customers, as Sal is fluent in French! It was easy for my parents to communicate with him and he took the time to explain things in both languages.

Unfortunate experience. Traded a vehicle in, received the new vehicle 2 weeks later than was told. They never paid out my old loan so I had to go back and fourth trying to get someone to even answer me. Was getting charged by both old and new banks. Took them a month to finalize the payout of the old loan so it impacted my credit score because I was "late" for payments that were not supposed to be mine. No one followed up with me or anything. Poor customer service.

The Janex family is second to none in the auto dealership business and I have to say Sofiane was very professional and took care of what I needed. I got exactly what I wanted and more. Could not be more impressed. If I could I would rate it 10 stars.

Only the receptionist answers the phone, no one else is ever available to talk and they will never call you back. Still waiting for Jan to call back since feburary. I purchased a 2015 Mercedes glk250. Needed to fix several large paint chips that I hadn't noticed when originally looking. All window wipers needed to be replaced (Mercedes specific). Roof racks didn't come with keys so I needed to pay a locksmith to remove them and there was rust all where the racks had been mounted. The thermostat was not working on the car, wouldn't heat up and set check engine light off right away, cost me $550 to fix and their warranty did not cover (dont bother with their warranty, cost me extra $2500 for nothing!). Back brakes were at 20% when I got the car. They said I would get 4 new all season tires, they just put 2 new on drivers side and 2 almost bald used on the passenger side. Real shady fix up, and it took them an extra 20 days for to hide the problems. Buyer beware!

If you're looking to buy a car from an honest and helpful team, I highly recommend Janex Auto Service.

BEWARE. When you buy from Janex Auto, they will quickly cut off contact and refuse to help you with anything related to the car that you purchase from them. My vehicle came with a missing part and they refused to do anything about it, even though it was in the contract. When I called, the receptionist put me on hold until I hung up because she didn't want to deal with fixing the issue. It took them 3 weeks to finally get back to me (after calling over 20 times) to get the answer that they refuse to do anything about it. Every person I talked to was completely unprofessional, disrespectful, and couldn't care less after they know that they've received my money. My advice: stay away. If you run into any problem with your vehicle that you purchase from them, they are unwilling to do anything about it. You'll end up dissatisfied and having to spend more money.

Also, the reason why you see so many reviews is because they offer a free oil change for a POSITIVE review, after you've bought your car. Its nothing more than people trying to get something free, opposed to actually having a positive experience.

EDIT (response) : If customer satisfaction and your reputation was the highest priority to you at Janex, you would have called me back the first of TWENTY times that I called, and fixed the issue. Instead you ignored me, hung up on me, or put me on hold until I hung up - and ultimately not providing any resolution. And the fact that you don't remember who I am is concerning and also goes to show that this happens often. **Avoid this place at all costs**

Came in to look for a car but didn't end up buying one just yet. I will probably be back very soon, as the atmosphere is friendly and the deals are fantastic. Sofiane promised that he would be able to hook me up with a 2004 Saab 9-3 that I've had my eye on recently. See you soon!
