J&B Books

En route to Ottawa from Toronto and was looking for a couple of LGS to stop by - what a gem of a store! They’ve got comics, board games, sports cards, and Pokémon/MTG/Lorcana sealed product and singles. Super friendly staff too! Might have to stop by on the way back ;)

Beautiful and well organized store! I'll definitely be coming back in the future! The front has a great selection of Magic: the Gathering, Pokemon, comic books, sports cards, Warhammer 40K, etc.at very reasonable prices and the back is a beautifully organized and designed used book store. The staff are very friendly and knowledgeable. When I went, I saw many people getting together to play games, too, and they have a dedicated play space to help make that happen! I'm looking forward to the next time I can drop by!

Really enjoyed visiting this store. There is a large selection of fiction books and there is a large section of $1 books as well. You can find almost everything in the fiction section. The book prices are cheap. I will be visiting every time I’m in the area. One of the best book stores in the region!

J&B is a great place to go. They have a wide variety of books, comics, games and sports/trading cards. Lots of fun things to look at and the owners are very friendly people!

Hands down some of the best customer service I have ever gotten from an LGS.
My order was shorted due to limited inventory and the team at J&B hand wrote a note explaining the situation and backfilling my order with spare product. I was blown away by the next level service. Would highly recommend them!

Everything you could want, prices were a little high imo. But its hard for them to compete with the big box stores so I get it

A great card and comic shop for all the supplies you could ever need! They also have novels for those who are more interested in that than the world of nerd culture

Double check you stuff yourself. I didn't do that. I got told a card was just a nice memory. Sold it for cheap found out it was worth 600$-800$ after I sold it for 5$.

Combination used book store and nerd shop - what's not to love?

I've been in here a half dozen times and always had a good experience with both the staff and the selection. Pricing seems in line for both halves of the business. To be fair, I can't comment on their Magic singles pricing or inventory if that's important to your visit.

They seem to have a tonne of miniature gaming terrain and plenty game space as well. Again, I have no personal experience to share due to the current circumstances we are all embroiled but I will partake once we return to normalcy.

Excellent shop in downtown Trenton. Once I'm done my current haul of a dozen paperbacks I'll be right back in there for another 12. Oh, and they'll "buyback" any of their books for half of what you paid. Which really means I'm trapped in an infinite literature loop. Send help!

J&B Books has an amazing collection of sports cards, Magic the gathering, Pokemon ect. Are you looking to sell that rare baseball or hockey card, maybe even add a new one to your collection then this is the place to be. Also has all your gaming accessories, D&D stuff and so much more. Also they have books.

I've been going here for years, the family that runs the store are wonderful. It's the perfect small town feel when you are greeted by the owners. The store is very clean and tidy and the customer washroom is nicely maintained. It's an excellent store for all your nerdy needs.

Good variety and selection of games, books, figures, and sports cards. Very helpful and friendly staff. Came in one time looking for some specific hockey cards for my nephew and they helped me find what I needed and for a very good price. They have gaming tables for a variety of games. Would definitely recommend checking out out.

This store is awesome for board games and table top games. The back part of the store is an amazing selection of used books from all genres. Love, love the staff friendly and helpful every single time.
