I was very happy with my experience with JD Swallow - I needed emergency heating service in some very cold temperatures and Colby and team did a thorough inspection and did not recommend anything more than what I needed, thereby saving me lots of money! Special shoutout to Kim as well for ensuring the best solution and checking all of the warranty information on my existing furnace to make sure I was taking advantage of everything I could. Highly recommend.

After changing my thermostat, I saw that the heating system did not get triggered. I put back the old thermostat, but it did not work either. Given the cold that was due next day, I had no choice but to contact JD Swallow for help late in the evening.
They responded quickly, and within less than 2 hours, Charles M.arrived at our home.
He quickly found the problem and fixed the issue with the new thermostat. He was very professional and walked me through the inspection and the fix.
It was a huge relief that we could have our heat back on before the cold arrived.

Cody and Ebenezer explained carefully what they were doing and were careful working in our crowded house. They also cleaned out a clogged dryer vent and made sure all our furnace vents were properly positioned. Very satisfied with the result.

Robert came to help with my humidifier which was using more water than I expected. He went further and taught me how to balance my HRV system with the humidifier, how to maintain both systems. While he did work on the humidifier, the rest of the visit was an invaluable education session. Thank you so much, Robert!

From the initial consultation with John to the installation of our cold weather heat pump and furnace by Colby and Patrick we were very pleased with the professionalism and thoroughness of all. Work was done promptly, clean-up was carefully completed, and Colby was generous with his time explaining the workings of the thermostat and the system. The office staff was always receptive to our needs and responded pleasantly and promptly.

We have been served by Swallow since 2007 and their work has been excellent, without fail. Maintenance of an older furnace, it's replacement, maintenance of the new furnace and maintenance of a gas fireplace have all been done with professionalism, courtesy and kindness. We would recommend Swallow to anyone looking for a heating and cooling service and cannot say enough about how grateful we are to have had them recommended to us and for our years in their care.

Made appointment to have furnace repaired @ 5: 00pm. Tech (Charles) showed up within the hour. He had the part on hand, and we were up and running by 7: 00pm.
If that isn't great service, then I don't what is. Kudos.

Judy and James both provided prompt and efficient service. First Judy was able to find my email (which had been put in a spam folder) and get me set up for the needed repair work to my dryer vent. James was very prompt and not only repaired my dryer vent, but secured it to the wall. He also explained the essentials for maintaining the vent on an ongoing basis. We have used J. D. Swallow's services for years- it is an excellent company with great staff; very knowledgeable about their business.

JD Swallow has serviced my own heating system since installed 10 years ago. Their office staff is polite and attentive when I call and very responsive for addressing my questions. Patrick was excellent. Not only did he come to the house earlier than expected, but also he did an excellent job installing the quick release valve for the natural gas bbq. He also helped me roll my bbq to the back yard so I could test the valve. Patrick is a credit to your organization.
