Jean Sibelius Square

The young kids area is in my view not well designed, the cements that surrounds the play area gets covered with sand where little kids just slide and fall.
No access to the water for the kids to play unless you put them in there and again it's cement!

Not well taken care off, lots of broken plastic toys mixed in the sand.
It's a big cat litter.

Outside the playground is beautiful.grass, trees benches picnic tables and washrooms.
There is an unfenced dog park too.

A very sweet, gem of a park. The Annex is a lovely neighbourhood and Sibelius has a small playground, some picnic and sitting benches and in the winter there’s a community-supported and run ice rink

Nice atmosphere. Chessboard table. Restrooms. Wish there was more grass/plants instead of just soil.

I lived next to this park for ten years. I still can't walk through the park without hearing "Finlandia" (written by Jean Sibelius) play in my head. The climbing structure is marvelous. It's a great place to bring kids. It's not the best park for a casual drink with your friends as it gets crowded, but it's doable.

Quiet neighborhood park with a bunch of benches and a few picnic tables and lots of green space if you want to play games or spread out blankets. Even has a washroom and a bike share dock!

Great playground for young children, slides, swings, and a lot of grassy area to run around and kick a soccer ball or throw a baseball around!

My favourite small park in Toronto! Has great benches, picnic tables, swings and playground! The playground is enclosed by a gate!

My local park. Excellent for young kids, with a small climbing wall, a sand lot and many toys. It has a washroom and a small area that is iced in winter for skating. Nice place to chill.

The community adds a lot of life to the park. I love watching the adults play with their children.the dogs walking through with their owners and the older homes surround the park as a beautiful back drop.

Definitely the neighborhood hangout for families with younger kids. There are swings, climbing wall, natural ice rink, and just green space. During the weekends, and after school, there are usually lots of folks.

Great playground and mural. The sand pit in the summer is a great place for creative kids to get dirty. The rope climbing structure is great for older kids. There is also a small field to toss or kick a ball around.

Awesome family park. Creative play park for the kids and ample grassy area for sitting and relaxing.

Nice park but the kids at the rope pyramid threw sand at me while I was climbing. I'm 35 years young.

I lived on Brunswick just North of the park for 70 years and remember playing baseball football and hockey there in the early 50s, with a lookout for police who tried to stop us. I remember the day the park and monument was dedicated when mayor Nathan Phillips unveiled it, a gift from the finish community in Toronto. If it were legal, I would ask that my ashes be scattered at the base of the Sebelius monument as I am a lifelong lover of the music of the Finnish master.

Love this park, very peaceful with people walking their dogs and children playing enjoying themselves. Very nice

This park has a washroom, climbing web of rope, sand and water play area, picnic tables, trees, and grassy area for free play or sports. All of this is in a residential area in the Annex.

It's a big and beautiful park. It has an ample of sitting spots and tables to if you want to go there to have lunch or something. Also has swings for kids.

Green space a short walk from home and always activities going on. Nice to sit on a bench and watch a park doing what it's meant to do.
