Completely garbage customer service. Even when going through Home Depot or Rona. Will never again use a single product. Poor quality and customer service. I see why your rating is so low. I would highly recommend using gentek or guardian glass. Was 100x better in quality and service.

Purchased a simple single hung Jeld-Wen window online through home depot. Took 3 weeks to arrive. It was inoperable as soon as installed. Lifted window the sash came apart, would not come out of frame, totally useless. Contacted Jeld-Wen for service and was told 4 weeks, followed up just now and told Sept 19th. My message don’t buy Jeld-Wen windows, if you have problem with product service takes months. Very disappointed and I am a patient person

Purchased a brand new home 6 years ago from Claysam homes in Woodstock. They used Jeld-Wen windows and doors. My windows need to be replaced because they are warped and let water in. Going to have to be replaced out of pocket because they only provide a 2 year warranty. What window company provides only 2 years of warranty? What a joke would not recommend windows from Jeld-Wen or homes from Claysam. Absolutely disappointed.

Bought a new home with lots of windows (Jeld-Wen Windows). Must be a cheap builder window. Everyone one of these windows rattles with the slightest of wind. The whole subdivision has the same problem. I’ve never heard a window rattle like this, makes it very hard to sleep at night. I blame the builder for buying cheap windows and I blame Jeld Wen for making garbage windows. This product belongs in Lowe’s and Home Depot for the do it yourselfer, not in a million dollar home.

VERY poor service. We received our French doors with a MASSIVE amount of damage. It has been 99 days since we were told that our claim had been approved. We still haven't had them repaired. It has been 20+ days since we have last heard from Jeldwen when we were told that the doors were in and we were waiting to have them scheduled to be changed. After many emails Jeldwen has completely stopped responding to our emails. So here we are now well past when Home Depot will do anything for us, and a renovation that is complete and we have massively damaged doors. Built a home in St. Thomas in January. The door we ordered was not available, so rather than asking us to pick another door they just picked a front door for us. Which by itself is terrible but spending the following 9 months going back and forth on the second door we picked while taking multiple days off work for a door that never seems to come is really where Jeld-Wen has screwed up. I would 100% not recommend Jeld-Wen as they are incredibly disorganized and the customer care has no intentions of being nice or helpful. More of a "deal with it" attitude which just adds to the overall experience. Do not deal with this company when looking for anything as they are truly a terrible operated company.

I bought a brand new build 4 years ago and all my windows have problems closing or sealing properly. Every season they are getting worse, by next year I’ll probably need all new windows. 0 stars.

Window fell out over a month ago. Called numerous times. Winter is around the corner, no body getting back to me. I don't know what to do. Will call Tarion. This is un called for for a company.

Update: Same window they repaired fell out. They said it wasn't under warranty. Booked 2 service appts, they missed the timing on both. This is just wrong.

I wish had read your reviews before purchasing Jeld-Wen product. I’ve been dealing with a defective sliding patio door for 2 years. Case 11A22A71

I was called a few weeks ago and confirmed a 3rd appointment for a tech to show up between 12-4pm June 28 2022 and nobody showed up.
I took the afternoon off for this.
No call or communication.
1st appointment cancelled for COVID reason understood.
2nd appointment cancelled because of union strikes understood
3rd appointment and nobody showed up. Extremely disappointing.

I’d like to escalate this issue to senior management.
I’d like a call and a resolution please and happy to remove this review after resolution.

If there was an option for zero stars, I would give it.

We built a new house in London, ON. Upon moving in FOUR MONTHS ago, we discovered NONE of our windows on the main floor worked. In addition, we did not have a screen door. We are still waiting for these things to be addressed. They make promises that are not kept such as telling us they will address these issues and not show up. They tell you they will be by to address the issues but never show up. Absolutely terrible product and even worse customer service. I highly recommend not using this company and telling your builder you do not want them. The houses on our street that used Golden Windows are very pleased. If you want to avoid headaches, go with another company such as Golden and steer clear of Jeld-Wen.

Absolute worst customer service I've yet to experience. I filled out the service request form on-line, as directed by one of their customer service agents and was told I'd receive a call within 3 days-radio silence. After a second attempt and a completed form that said I'd hear back in 2 days-crickets! They may offer quality windows however their customer service is terrible!

Terrible service. We got the new build but with frame crack on lots of windows. My builder only gave one work order with one window crack to JW in April, JW came and measured the window in April. Then we waited until the beginning of this August, one worker from JW came and tried to install the window frame, but the frame is the wrong size. So he said he has to reorder. On the past Tuesday, another man from JW came and replace the frame, after he gone, I found out he didn't do the sealing around the frame, so I called JW yesterday. And the customer service girl was quite rude. I told her the situation, she asked me to call the builder to give them another work order. But I mentioned it's not belongs to another work order, this is the unfinished work order that need to be done by JW. But she refused to listen to me finish my sentences, and keep saying "Mam, mam, let me say it". In the end saying"I can't help you in this conversation, so I will transfer you to my manager voice mail to leave the message. But I still suggest you to call your builder. " with a very aggressive tone. I left the voice message for her manager, but no one call me back at all. I left a message for my builder as well, but no one reply me either. I feel like both of my builder and JW are playing kicking the ball, terrible experience ever.today is raining, the rain will damage my window frame for sure. I'd like to claim for this.

Poorly made windows and customer service. My window has a hand print and suction cup marks between the layers. The recoil mechanism that keeps the window broke and my warranty service consisted of a replacement recoil mechanism which requires the window to be DISMANTLED in order to install it.
