Our favourite ice cream spot. Their ice cream is so amazing and can’t even be compared to other soft ice creams available. Their dipped cones are great and so are their sundaes. I’m a huge fan of the strawberry sundaes when amazing home made strawberry sauce. But nothing on their menu is a bad idea.
One of the best ice cream places I've been to. Had their butterscotch dip and their frozen sorbet. They let you blend their sorbets. We had watermelon + peach blended and a Mango + Pineapple blended. Both were very satisfying. The butterscotch wasn't the greatest but the toasted coconut and peanut butter ones looked really good (and in hindsight what I should have gone for). They also have waffle cones for an add-on price. Will definitely visit again.
Good location, Grumpy Staff! No hard regular ice cream, only soft serve or yogurt. As this was the only ice cream shop open on a warm September afternoon, there were plenty of customers. The lady behind the counter was not pleasant, and very slow! It took 10 min to serve 3 cones, 2 yogurt, one soft. The place is dark, the selection of flavors only visible when inside, (only one person at a time) made this for a slow and frustrating experience. The yogurt was good, as was the soft serve ice cream, but very basic. Rocky Mountain chocolates has fantastic ice cream as does Scoopers which was closed. The Boathouse has soft serve for roughly 1/2 the price.
Tried for the first time. Asked the server for his recommendation and he suggested 'Butter Tart Blizzard'. Loved it! Wasn't too sweet, the flavour was perfectly dominant. Perhaps going to visit every week to check things off their lovely menu. It's so pretty in there, a classic feel radiating ambience.
