Food is good but the selection is not that good. Especially packing in the dessert section.
Prices are decent. Service is quick and courteous.

They add 15% tip to the bill then HST charged on the total with the tip - so you have no choice in paying tax on the imposed tip. So the net tip is 17%.

Since they charge tip as part of the bill, why does anyone bother to give service right? Our water jug had no icr, was never refilled, the waiter only cleared the used plates at the ends of the table. I am quite sure the tip is NOT given to the staff, hence the lack of service. It's vexing to impose a 17% tip that the wait staff typically doesnt get, so that's a deal breaker for me. They should simply increase the declared price to $31 for lunch, to include the tip. But then that would put the stated price in the realm of more expensive restaurants with better food and service.

The food was mediocre at best with the highlights being deep fried tilapia, stewed lamb, baked chicken drumsticks and several vegetarian and rice dishes. Desserts were the usual Mediterranean sweets. There is no ice cream or cakes or alternative desserts. Last time I came here (before covid) the food was the same but the price was lower. This time the price was about 30% higher, offerings a bit less and now the imposed 17% tip. Not going back.

Decent buffet. Didn't like the seafood at all, too fishy tasting. Everything else was good.

#1 Mediterranean Restaurant in the GTA, and my personal favorite buffet. The food is a whole vibe, even the desserts. Also excellent service.

We recently hosted a lunch event for 50 people and had a wonderful experience.

Our guest complimented the incredible service and attentive servers. Our table was often cleared between each plate.
We arrived at opening around noon and the buffet was well stocked with fresh, delicious dishes.

Highly recommend for Mediterranean cuisine!

Great food selection in the buffet. I would fast for a day prior to going their again. The belly dancer comes around 8 pm, and it gets a bit loud to talk. Also, bring small bills if you want to dance with her looks like it’s customary to tip.

Great variety for a buffet lunch. Called in to make sure it was halal and it was but no certificates present on site. Seating is very nice and great ambiance overall.

The food was flavourful, there was a great variety of options. The restaurant inside is beautiful. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful!

We went for the Sat lunch buffet. It was barely $35. For the price paid, the quality of food was really good. All proteins were so tasty, salad and condiments were amazing, desserts were great too. The service was good, and the restaurant was very clean and well maintained. Recommended.

Amazing take out food! The chicken is nice and crispy, their veggies are way better than other places. For example their turnips aren’t neon pink. Customer survive is friendly and fast. Would recommend for a takeout lunch spot.

Very good Middle-East food with great taste and variety. Live music and belly dancing are super additions. It is always a great pleasure to have lunch or dinner here. The take-out is also amazing.

Great food and lovely service. Removed 1 star because the music was painfully loud and never ending. Could barely hear my parents from across the table and they're hard-of-hearing so they didn't hear me at all. The dancer was also very lovely!

This restaurant is amazing! Great service and a fun environment and evening! Will be going there again and even ordering out BC the food is delicious!

Very unique menu. Waitress was unique too. Very humourous and helpful explaining the dishes presented.
Many new and interesting tastes and textures.
Reasonably priced too.

Excellent food. We had the all you can eat. The spread was big, the mutton and beef roast were delicious. But cherry on the cake is the service. Would definitely visit again.

I really try to like this place. The food is very good but service struggles if you choose pickup. 3 times now (about 25%), they have erred on my order. They have forgot something or did something slightly different. I now check my order in the bag before leaving.

I put this to a very disorganized kitchen and desk. I am currently sitting on hold to place my order - waited 10 minutes, then called back and waited another 10 minutes before placing my order. After this wait, I find out they don't have spinach for the flatbread. I tried on-line ordering but that doesn't seem to work.

It is sad - a family restaurant making great food, struggling to adapt to an on-line and take-out world.

Yesterday we ordered takeout for a birthday celebration at our home. Two of the items accidentally were not packaged in our order. The restaurant was nice enough to deliver the missing food to our home. Thank you for a great dinner and excellent customer service.

Well. Great place to come and hang out. Service and customer service was great. Food portion was good but poor selection of food with compare what You pay doesn’t add up.

Very low quality food and service, disgusting taste, very expensive, no variety of dishes and drinks and salad bar

We had our son's wedding rehersal lunch there. The staff could not have been more accommodating. Nicolas was very helpful in organizing this day. We were about 30 people and the time of our lunch fell between the regular lunch dinner hours. The chef and his staff prepared a beautiful buffet for our group. We were the only patrons in the restaurant at the time. I highly recommend this restaurant. I will definately be coming back and recommend to everyone.

Try their buffet. It is totally worth the prize. The service is top notch. Food is amazing. It was too good that I forgot to take any pics. We went recently after the covid 2nd wave and they are taking all precautions. So it is safe as well.

Good quality food but the ambience felt dated. All the meats in the lunch buffet were cooked very well with a wide selection of desserts. Service was terrific but I felt it was over priced.

Delicious! So far I've had only take-out and delivery. Very much looking forward to eating in the restaurant.

The best falafel and rice pudding anywhere! Try their tiger brownie - a brownie with coconut.delicious. Service is always fast and friendly.

Ordered ahead and everything was ready when I arrived. I had the falafel sandwich and it was well worth it. Great food and service.

At the moment you step in this place they give you an excellent feeling. Very congenial stuff, it is a good place to go out with friends and colleagues or with your date.tasty cooking, specialist chef, decent pay and excellent service. Highly recommended.

It was alright. We ordered the Artichoke Salad, Kebab Supreme for Two, the Maza Plate, and some Baklava.

I've been curious about this place since passing by it each time I visit Sutherland-Chan, and my curiosity is satisfied. I dropped in to place takeout order after a massage.

The Artichoke Salad was awful. It contained so much of the hard inedible parts of the artichoke that we kept spitting out pieces like it was fish bones. We ended up throwing this out, which is a huge shame because we love artichokes.

The Kebab Supreme was decent, and we would recommend it. The tomato sauce with onions was nice and tangy. The sauce suited the meat very well. The rice soaked up the sauce nicely as leftovers for us the next day.

The Maza Plate was okay. We didn't care for the mixed pickles. Perhaps it was not to our preferences. The Tabbouleh, salad, and pita were fine. The Taheena and Hummus were fine; not memorable. We didn't finish the dips, which ended up in the compost.

The Baklava was serviceable. Also not memorable. Probably should have skipped this. However, we've been spoiled by Crown Patisserie and Patisserie Royale, and it just could not compare.

Service was fine during my takeout order, and they bought my order to my car. They packaged the warm items separately from the cold items, which I appreciated.

Plenty of parking. Located inside Shoppers plaza near Leslie and 401/Sheppard. Takes credit cards.

Avoid the Artichoke Salad. The rest is okay.

The atmosphere and the layout are nice in this restaurant.
1) it is a 5/5 for the buffet, which has a nice selection of cold meals and salads and sometimes really good Middle Eastern dishes (e.g. Stuffed chicken, roasted lamb, stuffed veggies etc). Their dips such as hummus are also nice and tasty. The deserts' taste is substandard.
2) it is a 2/5 for their take away food. The mana'eech are terrible. They look and taste more like cheap pizzas. Their taste is below average and is nothing like the authentic Middle Eastern mana'eech. The sandwiches are really really bad, chunks of tasteless chicken put in bread with flavorless salad. It is surprising that this take away and this restaurant are at the same place as they serve totally different quality of food.

Always a great place to have lunch. I work nearby and this is a great restaurant for large groups. Food is great and there is something for everyone. Lots of vegetarian options too. Service is fantastic as well.

We visited Jerusalem several times -it always have a great variety of Middle Eastern food with a lot of vegetarian options, great baked bread and a lot of action - live music, belly dancer. Service has always been courteous and we were always happy with the restaurant, except the last time we went there something we ate gave us stomach pains, hence only 3 stars. The washrooms can be better looked after as well.

Loved it. Lively fun filled atmosphere. Didnt like all the food but that's because its culturally different for me. Whatever i did like was really great. I would go back for sure.

Lovely staff and service with a positive attitude and very prompt table service. The food was well prepared and every dish tasted fresh and delicious. The restaurant itself had a pleasant style and there was even a dancer who made a few rounds around the restaurant and really livened up the mood!

Only group people will have the most fun, I mean even if you are 1 or 2 ppl you will still enjoy it but this place is made for big number of people, the food is no where close to disappointment, make sure you go with empty belly there is no way you will stop eating. You better not regret the extra pounds you witness next morning #LovedIt

The best middle eastern food I have had in Toronto! Wide range of varieties, delicious selections. So many dessert options to choose from. Just loved the fact that middle eastern food can be more than just shawarma! Little expensive on the weekends but totally worth it! Heard there are belly dancers sometimes in the evenings, so cant wait to go for dinner:)

Definitely one of the best open buffet places in Ontario.
I would highly reccomend you go there at least once if you're with friends or family.
The food is just remarkable and perfectly cooked everytime, staff are friendly and the environment is clean and home-like.

My wife & I have been regular customers of Jerusalem Restaurant for over 20 years now.
The place is perfect for birthdays, all family or business gathering or just a dinner or lunch for 2 or 4 or.
There is a take out section too.
Earlier today my wife & I went there for dinner. The place was packed but customer was turned away that i know of.
It is a buffet restaurant.
I took as follows: lentil soup, 2 bowls (5*) ; kofta kebab (5*) ; lamb (5*) ; tabbouleh (5*) ; baba ganoush/baba ganouj (5*) ; rice pudding, 1 bowl (5*).
Earlier today we just went there, but as a rule, we make a reservation.

I went to this restaurant for afternoon lunch buffet. I ambience and cleanliness of the restaurant was appreciative. To be Frank the effort they take to maintain the restaurant's hygiene is not reflect on the food. I didn't like the food at all but other people would like that. But Its not my cup of tea.

1. Good selection of Mediterranean food (Starters, main course and dessert)
2. They have a belly dancer that performs here.
3. Great ambiance. They have a tree in the middle of this restaurant.
4. I saw a lot of birthday celebrations and families and happy faces here.

I liked it a lot. There were tons of vegetarian/vegan options. I didn't feel like I paid a unfair price for just salads (because that would be most buffets unfortunately).

Our server was so lovely too!

I've been here for several years. Although I've never eaten at their restaurant, always their take out.

I've tried their kebab supreme, all their sandwiches, falafels, a variety of salads, and probably all of their kebab plates over the years.

Staff has always been friendly and I've never had a problem with food quality. I've brought my parents on a few occasions and my family love all the dishes too.

Great food!

p.s. So, they have a small eat in area separate from the restaurant in case you feel like eating there instead of take out or the buffet.

That's how I can take my family even though I haven't eaten at the restaurant.

Food was good for an All You CAN Eat Buffet. Service was wonderful, and the entertainment was lively with the dancer and musicians. Would come back another time.

This is great place if you like middle eastern food.
Delicious and always fresh.
Lots of seafood shrimps, fish and squid.
Grilled kabobs, Chicken and Beef.

Lots of fresh salads like, tabouli, fattoush and Greek.
Other great items like, falafel, okra, and soup.
We went on a Friday, fun times with a live belly dancer.

I wish the restaurant would do some renovations, it would make it even more spectacular.

Actually I was expecting a variety of Arabic, Turkish and even Israeli foods and better quality.
If you are looking for somehow middle eastern restaurant with reasobanle price this place might be the one. However if I want to spend about $20 I prefer known Persian or Turkish restaurants.
One of the stars is for their staff. They were nice, helpful and professional.

We have been to their buffet many times which is always so good. Last weekend we ordered their dinner for 10 for our house warming and everyone loved it. We are glad to be closer in our new place.

This place is amazing one to Dine with family or friends. The atmosphere it creates is amazing, I went with my friends and the time we spent was good. Really liked the food and the freshness. I would suggest to go early as possible to sit and enjoy your Dinner as they have a lady belly dancer who is a fantastic performer with her charismatic moves. I loved Falafel, so crisp and crunchy. Their Lamb, Fishes and Shrimps were delicious and perfectly cooked! And last but not the least their desserts, out of the world taste! I Was almost full with everything else on their counters but i could not stop myself to go for Desserts. Baklawa is my favorite one while i consider desserts, it was so juicy and perfectly sweetened. Really Nice place to have GOOD FOOD!

I've been there many times. There service is good.ambience is good. Food is ok. They are known for their buffet service. However the variety of items is not great and the food taste and quality is rather low. Recommended only if you're craving middle eastern food and looking for a buffet in the area.

5 star chief the food was perfect the hummus was smooth like cream the lamb was juicy fall apart in your mouth. The tobillule was crisp and fresh the grill was special really got the smoked taste and beatuful grill marks with out drying anything out. The staff great the GM respectful and polite the whole experience was be far one of the best.

The food is absolutely delicious and there is a surprising great variety. The service is impeccable too. Great place that makes our long drive worth it.

Be warned! Visited the restaurant with my family and my in-laws. The food selection had little variety to offer. When asked about the shwarma I was told to ask the waiter. Considering it is an open buffet, I was completely humiliated in front of everyone when I asked for a second serving of the only decent food option. Apparently the shwarma is meant to be served as an appetizer and you can only get a small plate. The customer service needs a major revamp. I will never be visiting this place again.

Zero Hospitaility Level, Selfish, Money hungry & stingy.

Lunch time is 11: 30 to 3. We arrived at 2 but they ran out of many buffet food varieties when asked for availability, the guy refused rudely. We Paid & left. Never Ever again.
