I went to Jesse back in the early to late 70's and it was GREAT! I have no complaints about the teachers, fellow classmates or facilities. One of my best friend's dad was the famous actor Don Harron who played Charlie Farquson on the TV show "He Haw! " We had the mini wading pool that we would play in during the summer. I believe the pool is is no longer there. There was the long hill that we would slide down in the winter unfortunately has been flattened out. The one thing that everyone dreaded was walking up the stairs to the big room to get all of our injections. I believe it has turned into a guidance facility. I loved the two gyms they had. One for the girls and the boys. Overall, I enjoyed my time at Jesse and I'd relive this experience again.

I went to grade 1 to 8 here circa late 90’s into mid 2000’s. Amazing memories, strong friendships, amazing teachers that I still think about, and some years the Raptors visited us and showed us all a fun basketball filled day, and other times the Blue Jays or select players visited and showed us baseball stuff, one time Chris Bosh talked to us! It was awesome! Other times the Toronto Fire Department boys visited us and taught us so much fire safety, and had cool smoke demonstrations! I also remember the Toronto Police Department coming by and giving us all millennium 25 cent coins in the year 2000. I still have mine!
This school also had such amazing field trips! The Toronto Zoo, the island, blue Jays games, museum trips, up north camping trips, Quebec City trips, etc. So many fun memories at this school’s playground as it has changed multiple times over the years. Many life lessons learned and memories made. Lovely staff and culture. I feel it shaped me in a very positive way as I am now almost 30, I still reminisce on my 8 years spent at this school.

We there for Grade 7&8, accepting of anyone, and has a great community. Many teachers can be a bit harsh but it’s not that bad.
