If you really wanna taste true Nepali-thali, then you must visit here. Great foods with great atmosphere. Sekuwa, and Momos are absolutely incredible. The waitress was so kind and friendly. Highly recommended.

My boyfriend and I went to eat and I noticed the waitress took orders of people who came in to after my boyfriend and I came. It was a little annoying but we thought maybe they called ahead. My boyfriend and I ordered, the table beside us then ordered and then the group ordered after. The group somehow got their food first, then the waitress topped off everyone's food (because Thali is kinda like all you can eat) and then she brought out my boyfriends food. Then after she came back and said the dish I want they ran out. I asked them what took them so long to realize that after 15 minutes they don't have that dish and she said that there's only 1 cook in the kitchen and that they're busy. I've been to restaurants where it's way busier than they were so I was very annoyed. I will not be going back to this place even though their food was delicious.

It was way too cold in the restaurant. The food was good. But it made my experience not good enough cause of the cold.

Went here on an extremely cold evening in Toronto. The place is pretty small so anytime someone walks inside, there's a gust of wind chill that hits making you feel cold and reach for your jacket. The tables are pretty jammed that there's barely space for people to come out. The food though was pretty good. We ordered the chilli chicken which was a lot spicier than we expected but the jhol Momos were great. The thali was ok - we didn't particularly enjoy the spread and ended up wasting most of the items except for the chicken curry which was delicious. Their honey ginger tea and mango Lassi was pretty good as well.

Thali is so bad with tasteless achar and the weirdest pickle with uncooked meat
No taste authenticity

The only drawback is they keep beef menu which is prohibited in our Nepali culture. So, can’t come back again. You should replace it with mutton or Buff.

This is a long awaited review of my favorite restaurant in the town. I keep forgetting to review it but I had to after eating Buff momos, yes not beef but buff momos, bhutan and buff choila after ages. Who knew one day we could eat buff momos in a restaurant in Toronto. Kudos to the team for trying to recreate magic of Nepali momos. Sel roti and tama tarkari is to die for. And our waiter was very welcoming. Will surely go back for more Jhol momos and bhutan

Namaste, I recently had the pleasure of dining at Jimbu Kitchen
and I must say, it was an experience that left a lasting impression. From the moment I entered the restaurant to the final bite of dessert, every aspect of the dining experience was exceptional.

The ambiance at Jimbu is effortlessly elegant. The tasteful decor, soft lighting, and attention to detail create a warm and inviting atmosphere. It strikes the perfect balance between sophistication and comfort, making it an ideal setting for any occasion.

Now, let's talk about the food. Each dish that graced my table was a masterpiece. The flavors were thoughtfully crafted, and the presentation was visually stunning. It was evident that the chefs at Jimbu are true culinary artists, as they skillfully combined ingredients to create unique and tantalizing flavor profiles.

I wholeheartedly recommend Jimbu Himalayan Thakali Kitchen

Small but beautiful. Food was great. Chang (Tibetan rice wine) was delicious. Re fill was even better. They come around to give you more food except for the meat.
Oh for some reason the floor was slippery. Just gotta be careful.

Heard alot about their food being top notch and the thakali set for me was top tier
Re-fill was generous and the service was really good as well. Guess this will be my go to spot for nepali cuisine from now onwards.

Sharing a meal with my friend at Jimbu Himalayan Thakali Kitchen was an absolute delight today, and I can't help but reminisce about the experience. Our visit to Jimbu Himalayan Thakali Kitchen turned into a unique adventure, complete with the anticipation that comes with a bit of waiting. Despite the initial wait, the experience that followed later made it well worth our patience.
The restaurant, bustling with activity and a lively crowd, spoke volumes about its popularity. The food at Jimbu Himalayan Thakali Kitchen was a delightful treat for the taste buds. Each set boasted authentic flavours that transported me to the feeling of back home.
Apart from the dining experience was the outstanding service provided by our server, Preetika (apologies if I got the name wrong). Despite the bustling atmosphere and a sea of customers, Preetika went above and beyond to ensure our comfort and satisfaction. Her kindness and attentiveness were truly commendable as she navigated the busy restaurant with grace and a smile.

Its a cozy small place and you have to wait a little for dine-in but it was worth every minute we waited. Definitely coming back again with my family as they were missing nepali food and jimbu hits the spot.

With all the self-claimed “thakali sets” in restaurants these days, which will merely have any of the ingredients, this is the closest to authentic thakali khana you can find in GTA reasonably priced with decent proportions served. Would have been more convenient to drop in, if their area was more spacious but nevertheless, the staff will try their best to accommodate to your needs
Ps. Their mustang daal steals the show
