Offers a wide variety of free programs for kids. I recommend especially if you are trying to see what activities would interest your child.

Played on the outdoor rink a few weeks ago during a warm evening. Women's shinny time. Only had brief interactions with the young staff. Nice people. Had a great time.

I've always visited the park during different times of the day. I also enjoyed the tennis courts at least once a week in the summer. Yesterday, was my first time in the recreation centre and I was impressed. It's got a gathering for every sport, the place is clean and tidy. There's a lot of action that doesn't show from the street level. I'll be back to explore my options in a higher level of detail at a later date.
Lots of residents in the area frequent centre, from pingpong, basketball, skateboarding to swimming everyone can find their groove.

Used the pool at the cetnre. The facility is pretty old but kept very clean and organized very well. The staff is unbelievably friendly and helpful. Although the centre locates a prime area on Queen East, there is a small parking pad for centre users and there are plenty street parking spots if the pad is full.

I go there for badminton on Mondays. It's little bit small court compared to some of the other centres, but when you are playing it doesn't matter right. Its well maintained place and everybody respect each other's space.

I recently found out that you can shower there and I recently became homeless and they treat me and my wife just like everyone else not looking down on us because we are homeless

Good community center. It has swimming pool for lessons, ping pong table, decent size gym, outdoor hockey rink, tennis court, soccer field, kids playground.

30+ years living in the area and this was the first time I was inside the building and for all this the covid vax. Can't complain it was well layout and timely.

It is wheelchair accessible, but the slope to get up into the place means you need to be very strong or have someone able to PUSH you to get up the very steep slope or have a electric chair with a good motor.

Great park for many different sports. They have a tennis court, baseball field, soccer filed and basketball nets.
Just watch out in the mornings for dog owners having their dogs off leash.

I've used this Rec center and surrounding park for years I'm 36 years old and I began playing here when I was 12 or 13. I was a member of many of their youth groups I used to skate on the rink and play badminton in tennis in their Court. When I had my son we spent nearly the first full summer of his life at the wading pool. I love this park and all its memories. Even the dog walkers here are reverent and respectful LOL

It is small but great for the community. This location has a pool which everyone loves.but the parking lots can only hold 5 cars.its best if you live close by.or street parking / p parking is your friend if you can find a spot.

Convenient community centre with a 25 metre pool for adult swims during the early mornings, lunchtime and evening free lane swims. Other programs offered. This is a city owned and operated facility. They also have an ice rink a newly refinished tennis court in 2018, a large park area with a soccer field, and a playground with wading pool.

Pool is well kept and water well treated.
Only 2 fast lanes split.

I did my bronze med and cross here. I loved the people. It's mostly elders playing ping pong or little kids in day camps. The staff were amazing.

Lots of drop in program for free, friendly staff and very accessible for all. No parking on location but street parking available

Rough.kids took one week of summer camp.councillors were not aware (or does't care) what was going on. Bullies and big boy throughing basket balls at little kids, pushing. I will never use that camp or facility.

Great place to play indoor sports year round, make sure to to look into there sports online through the Toronto recreation online directory. They also got a good indoor pool here you can check out, the lane swimming times change depending on the season.

Nice basketball courts. We were outside but inside seems to be pretty nice as well. It can get crowded during lunch breaks. There is also a tennis court, soccer field and hockey ring.
09 August 2019 6:11
Lockers are really small for the pool area which is a problem unless you bring two locks or bring your bag into the pool area. The pool and shower is warm which is nice as well.
