Friendly and efficient service even with a full restaurant and 2 kids hockey teams in the back

This was a very big disappointment, I ordered the jims special club. I feel like it should be called anything but special. The sandwich bread was not just toasted but dried out, the cheese was not real that plastic stuff, the turkey breat was thinner then lunch meat from a store (a bread sandwich!). The fries were soggy with not even a lick of salt and the coleslaw was Salty as all get out. My partner also threw their food out after a few bites. The poor quality of food is not worth the amount they charge. WILL NOT ORDER AGAIN!

Absolutely excellent breakfasts. 2 eggs, bacon toast home fries and beans. Perfect amount of everything. The waitress Olivia was excellent too! We will be back.

Jim's is an old feel diner along with a traditional set of offerings. We both had the hot turkey sand which which was traditionally robust. The downfall of this glorious sandwich was Jim's famous gravy. It seems that it is famous for how incredibly bad it is! Tasteless brown liquid. It ruined what was by sight an honest diner meal.

Love this place. We come here every time we visit my family in the area. Food is amazing and staff are so friendly. We also lucked out and got our meal paid for by a generous customer so we paid it forward and bought someone else's meal. Thanks to the 2 guys sitting next to us:)

Great service! The waitress was so helpful & friendly. Good pie & coffee, also! Old & dated decor though. Still, worth the drive

Still waiting for my basic 2 egg breakfast over 50 minutes later. Good diner food but not sure I'll be coming back unfortunately

I was born there in town and returned after 30 yrs and it is still the greatest place to eat in Victoria were I live u don't get service like that in all restaurants great job and will return

Apple juice was crisp and refreshing, god I love apples. Loved the atmosphere here especially since all the other customers are on their last legs really bring out my youth, their lack of colouring sheets was expected but the variety of crayon colours caught me off guard, thanks for providing me with such a creative outlet for my time, ps give Olivia a raise she’s desperate for the money right now

Great food and friendly service. Nancy, our server, treated us like family and made us feel welcome.

Best club sandwich in town! Real turkey, real delicious! Comes with fresh cut French fries and coleslaw. Not really my favourite coleslaw, but that’s okay. I’ve had a great grilled cheese sandwich here in the past. Must do that again! I’ve also had the hot turkey sandwich. Oh, and the pizza is top notch! Lots of options when nobody wants to cook!

Great family owned restaurant. Interiors a little dated but the service and food were great. Good breakfast and price.

Jim's Restaurant is one of our go-to places. Prices are reasonable, and portions are plentiful. Everything is delicious.

Terrible experience tonight. Disappointed owner let another patron harrasss us 3 times after we even asked the waitress to move once. Owner refused to take accountability and let the patron who was harassing us at our own table stay. Yes I got loud, yes I wad offended. NO I will not be back. Food quality has dropped with new owners anyways. Try the Krave, or Cupboard way better food. ️ Low class establishment.

The most amazing breakfast you will get. Homestyle breakfast. Eggs, bacon, fried mash potatoes and beans. Big portions and great prices.

From the time we arrived to the time we left we were very well taken care of. The food was delicious and tasted like homemade. Highly recommend Jim's Restaurant for all your hungry needs

I’ve had the chicken burger a few times here with a poutine on different days and it’s consistently excellent. The staff are wonderful, we are always checked on.

Stick to breakfast and you will enjoy this restaurant.

We lived around these parts for 15+ years and have been to Jim’s for breakfast 100 times or more. Good value, portions, service, atmosphere etc… We had never been here for lunch, for some reason, till yesterday.

I had the hot Hamburg and my wife the hot turkey meal (incl soup and desert). The veg soup was little more than a bunch of frozen veg floating in tomato juice. Bad start. My hot Hamburg came complete with a burnt patty topped with a disgusting dark, thick and incredibly salty gravy, water logged frozen corn, and lousy mashed potatoes. My wife had the exact same slop except the beef was replaced by turkey. Now, it takes a lot for my wife to say anything bad about anything. But, she did call this “the worst hot turkey sandwich I have ever had”. That sums it up well.

We don’t live in the area anymore so we’re not likely to come back here but, as I said, stick to breakfast and you’ll come out satisfied.

Great dinner! Jim’s is like a downtown diner. It’s super clean with friendly and efficient wait staff. The food my husband and I ordered was delicious - fish & chips for him and shish kabobs for me. Both were served with more sides than we could imagine ever eating. Beer was cold and served with a big smile. If we lived here we would be here often!

My wife and I had a fantastic breakfast here! The place is hoppin', which is always a good sign. The breakfast sausages were crisp on the outside and scrumptious and very satisfying. Pancakes with whipped cream were just right, and the maple syrup upgrade is well worth it.
The home fries were made in-house, and just perfect, which my wife had with sunnyside up eggs and bacon.
The price was fair too. We might have to visit Arnprior again just to go here!

An Arnprior stablecoin for dining. One of the last affordable places to eat. Everyone is friendly and I have never had a bad experience.

Very good service and portion sizes. The chicken parmigiana was great. It could use extra slice or two of garlic bread though.

I ordered the pizza and it was not very good. It tasted a bit soggy or something.it was very floppy.

If your gonna charge 17.95 for greek souvlaki, please make sure there is more than a handful of fries, more than one scoop of rice, and if your gonna call it greek, please make sure you use some sort of spices for the dried out pork you call whatever that was, it wasn't greek. The greek salad had no taste of a dressing what so ever, the tzatziki sauce was runny, and it tasted like plain yogurt with cut up cucumber, not an ounce of garlic in it. Best part of the meal, was the garlic bread with cheese and bacon, won't be back
