I have mastered my last 3 song projects with Joao and have been thrilled with the results. I try to do the best job I can with my final mix, and it's hard to put into words, but when I get the mastered version back, it just sparkles in the high end and kicks in the low end, and passes the all the car, headphone, ear-bud, Bluetooth speaker, etc.tests for consistency. And I appreciate Joao's generosity at offering revisions - he truly wants you to be happy with the result, and I always am.

Mike Marra's mastering on my first batch of singles is so wonderful. Very sensitive and tasteful to what the songs were needing. I am so grateful for the quality of the work, for the kind and clear communication from Mike and Bryan, and for the existence of the Night Shift Mastering at JCM altogether. I've worked heavily with Joao and Bryan over the years, most notably on the Juno-award nominated album Die Every Day by Tasha the Amazon, and her 2019 album Black Moon. We've never been disappointed. They nail the quality standard that we need to hit, and understand how to work with our style, including the thick bass that defines our production. They're always in communication and always on time. They deserve the international reputation they've built.

João has mastered all of our recordings since 2014, and he and Bryan have always been a joy to work with - very accommodating with our schedules and extremely passionate about their work. Highly recommend them!

I’ve been lucky enough to have 3 albums mastered by Joao and his team. They are truly the best in the business. They are always super quick and kind with responses to any questions I might have. Turnaround is surprisingly fast-especially considering how busy they are. Their prices are beyond fair and the masters have come back perfect the first time every time. On top of that, there is a caring touch to their service. I always feel like I am working with friends.
