Joe has a lot more than I can imagine. Great customer service, items are affordable, and the environment is clean.

Great place to go and get your Carribean fix. Once you leave Toronto there are not a ton of places so I loved finding this place in Burlington. Great products and service.

Excellent Customer Service! Just called to find out if they have a specific product. I could hear how busy the store is from the noise in the background; the young lady was very courteous and checked for me! Thank you! Thankful for your store and happy to pay a premium price to encourage local. I was heading for “Oceans” and remembered your store! You have what I need- see you soon on my way!

I love this place price is reasonable great staff always friendly I pick up food from there hot plate section it is sooooooo good when u get a chance try the egusi soup and pounded yams or any other varieties of foods they offer u won't be disappointed

To everyone complaining about prices - they're importing a ton of authentic Afro-Carribean products you just can't find a replacement for in Canada. Prices are going to be higher due to needing to source these products. They're not a giant retailer like Walmart, cut them some slack and support local businesses!

Their hot table is pretty decent too if you need a bite to eat.

I am new to Burlington and I was very happy to know that there is a Carribean/African store in Burlington. Customer service is excellent, the young man that was there was alone and he acknowledged every customer that came in and told them he will be a moment. He took his time and showed/helped me with everything I needed. This is definitely my new favorite store, I am thrilled I dont need to travel back to Mississauga to get my Carribean needs.

Tried their Pounded Yam and Efo Riro. Amazing. Never had something like this meal so I was a bit worried. But the Pounded Yam is so smooth and good. It matches the efo riro so well. The rfo riro has so much flavor!

The serving is also huge. I barely made a dent and feel so full. Super fast communication. Asked them if I can save and reheat and they answered me so quick!

The owners were so welcoming and helpful upon my arrival! I highly encourage everyone to shop here as it provides you with various food options and as it is a local black owned business! 10/10!

Wanted a couple of Patty's heated up told me I had to buy the box. Went over to the lunch counter and charged me $19 for rice, chicken and turkey leg that was as hard as my shoe.

Customer Service is terrible. They keep hair behind cahier. I asked to see the hair extensions from behind the counter, the girl at the shop said she cannot get up! Wow, how do I see what am to buy. She said she can't get up. I said your at work, she answered. I'm not to be here. So why have a business with people who don't want to work!

I will never come again and pray for another Store to open to give them competition. Very unprofessional place!

I was looking for a Caribbean store in Burlington for the longest while. It has lots of the stuff I need, to be honest I didn't really look at the prices, because I was so happy to find a Caribbean store. I think this is my new happy place

I was honestly soo happy when I found a African market in Burlington. When I went their the owners were very friendly and welcoming also very helpful. Store was very organized. I’m just pretty disappointed about the prices for they are very high. Also I tried the hot food and was VERY disappointed. First of all the price I paid for what I got was not reasonable at all! And the food made me sick to my stomach! Very sad experience!

I’ve frequented Joes since the previous location on John St, it wasn’t always convenient to me because of parking. I was pleased to see that they’ve relocated to a larger location with parking. As for the store it was clean, the staff was friendly and helpful, the specific cultural items were in stock and I feel that the prices are reasonable. There is now hot food being sold at this location and I look forward to trying on my next visit. I will be back.:)

This is truly a hidden gem. Lots of great Caribbean eats, spices, sauces, drinks, snacks, and frozen foods.

As a Caribbean I am very happy that this store is open not too far from me. The owners are lovely and will try to bring in items that they do not currently carry. 10/10!

I am very pleased with the excellent customer services that I get from everyone at Joe's African & Caribbean Market. The store is always very clean and organized at all time. The atmosphere is always very welcoming and pleasant. Their new location is easily acesssible, lots of free parking. I wish them all the very best in their new location. God Bless.

For all my fresh African foods at great prices, Joe's is my go to. I highly recommend for all your African grocery needs.

Nice African store, closest I could find to Oakville where we live. With most of the Nigerian food items available. Friendly and helpful staff.
