John The Plumber

I had a leaking faucet fixed and the service was excellent. Their estimate/price was less than Mr. Rooter, they were far better to deal with, and their technician was significantly more courteous and knowledgeable than Mr. Rooter’s. Very pleased and would highly recommend.

Michael was outstanding! He provided thorough explanations, ensuring I fully understood my options. Impressively, he completed everything in one session (despite concerns about potentially needing to order parts). He even arrived earlier than anticipated, after confirming it was convenient for me. I'm not familiar with typical costs of toilet repairs, but given the extent of the damage to the unit, I believe the price was very reasonable. His efficiency and thoroughness were very appreciated. This is the second time we've had guys come out from John the Plumber come out to do some work. I kept meaning to write a review for the first visit, so I'll combine both reviews into this one.

On our first visit Alex and Dawson came out to our house to diagnose a mystery leak. They were super patient, and explained everything they found to my partner, and really made us feel at ease. They eventually concluded they'd need to bring in a camera and send it down our clean-out.

The video was blurry, and it was tough to come to a solid conclusion, so they had two additional guys come out, Garret and Connor. They took another video with another camera at no additional charge, and they determined that the cause of the leak was due to roots in our sewer lateral.

Garrett walked me through the entire process, recommending that I contact the city to find out if the tree belonged to us or the city. If the roots belonged to a City tree, Garrett and John the Plumber would likely be out of the job of clearing the roots, but it would save us, the customer, a ton, as the city would be responsible. Garrett put us first, and in doing so, he made a loyal customer. It turned out that the tree did belong to the city, and we had the removal completely covered and we didn't have to stress as much (though we did still have to replace our floors due to that darn leak!)

Flash forward to last week when we had John the Plumber back in to replace our basement pipes. Since we are replacing our flooring due to the leak, we figured it'd be a good opportunity to get Garrett and his crew back in to chip out the cement and replace the old cast iron pipes.

Garrett explained the whole process to me and keep me in the loop at every step, and when we hit a snag, he figured out a way to work around the snag in a way that we could afford.

Zach, Dawson, and Leandro did a lot of work over the three days, chipping out the concrete (and carrying those heavy bags full of concrete and stones up the stairs and out the house), and were always positive and respectful every time we had a chance to chat. They were super professional, and even more important, I felt like I could trust them all.

After the wild weather we've had this spring, we've been dealing with several contractors fixing up different parts of our house. John the Plumber has been a shining star amongst them all, and I truly can't recommend them enough. They go beyond any positive review can even begin to describe. Thank you so much for everything, and if anything else goes wrong in my house this year, I am hopeful it's at least plumbing related so that I can look forward to working with John the Plumber again!

Michael was great at explaining what he will be doing as well as outlining the risks when I needed my kitchen sink declogged. He was very responsive and professional. Will be using John the Plumber again (just hopefully not too soon!)

The services is got (vent and faucet replacement) from Johnathan and Robert were done in lightning quick fashion and with great care and expertise. They were in and out in an hour and I am greatly satisfied with the services and customer oriented approach of John the Plumber.

Now I do not know if Johnathan is the aforementioned John or not, so I guess another customer will need to figure that out.

Excellent experience! Very knowledgeable and explained what was needed and how they were going to proceed in a clear and understandable manner. Also explained the possible complications in advance including the potential costs involved so we could be prepared for any extras that might be needed as the job progressed. We appreciated knowing what we could potentially be getting into before they started as opposed to being informed in the middle that there was a bigger issue to consider. Will definitely use them again and would recommend them to anyone needing a professional plumbing service. Thanks!

I dread calling a plumber. This was so easy and fast. Michael even offered to come out early. Everyone was super nice and it was a stress free experience

Tomas came to remove bolt-on bidets from all three of our toilets. While the news wasn’t great on the repercussions of the bidets, Tomas was wonderful and we truly appreciated his professionalism, transparency and advice! Highly recommend John The Plummer!

Dawson was very professional. He looked at the issue and then gave me a clear explanation of the scope of work. He also gave me instructions on what to do going forward and preventative maintenance.
He cleaned up after himself and he had Dawson, Eric and another fellow come with equipment and cameras back up. All of which were very polite boys

Michael came back again to solve the never ending problem of my leaking bathroom sinks. Even found out the pipes that had been previously replaced were not up to code in my building. So far, so good. Took three appointments from another company first. It seems to be resolved, now, fingers crossed.

Excellent, top notch service and explanation of the work we needed to fix some issues with our aging plumbing system. They replaced leaky and inefficient local and main shutoff valves and fixed a newer kitchen faucet that became wobbly.

We’ll be needing to work with them on a larger job soon, and thanks to their clear explanation of what might happen, and what they can and can’t do depending on the results of our issue, I have full confidence that we’ll be in good hands.

Very good experience, work was explained to me and options/prices were presented. Work was done very efficiently and then shown to me to ensure I was well informed. Would recommend and use again if needed.

Today I had the pleasure of working with Jeff. He was very personable and very quickly put me at ease. I had an issue with a clog in my kitchen sink. He quickly assessed my situation and provided me a quote that was half the amount from another high profile service provider. To his credit, the job was tougher than he thought (with unforeseen splashes), but he stuck to his estimate. I want to thank him for his professional integrity and for providing excellent customer service. He even cleaned the area under the sink with a spray cleaner for me. I have never had this level of customer service before. Jeff - YOU ROCK!

I would whole heartily recommend working with John The Plumber (and Jeff if you are lucky enough). It's rare these days to experience customer service at the level that Jeff provided!
