Johnny Burger

Been there a couple of times now, had the poutine the first time. It was Ok, the fries were a good size, the gravy was good and the curds were as what you would expect. The 2nd time I went with my son, he had the same thing as the first time. The 5 jumbo wings I think. They came bare with the sauce on the side. Some people like this, I am not one of those. I had a 1/3 pound cheeseburger. It was ok, I didn't find it to be all that great. It certainly did not feel that it warranted a $9 price tag. All in all, I would give this place a satisfactory rating for an upper tier burger. When I left though, I didn't get the feeling that I got a great meal for the above average $$$ I paid.
Oh and the seating inside is horrible. You are backed up against the main door with a nasty draft during the winter months.

As locals we are huge fans of Johnny Burger. Some of our favorite items on the menu are their mouthwatering burgers of course, onion rings, poutines, and chicken wings. Friendly service.

Hats off to the owners and staff for amazing food and their professionalism when having to take care of a discrepancy.

I had my order get made wrong and the kids working remade for me. Sadly I think they are used to dealing with angry ppl because they literly thanked me for not being angry.

Reply to owners comment- thats so wrong that people think its acceptable to treat others that way. My heart went out to the two working because mistakes happen, thats why pencils have erasers

We have lived Is up here for 3 years. We love this place. I do suggest you order ahead of time on the website, especially on the weekends.

I ordered takeout from Jonny Burger and the Fish and Chips were pure fire! Fresh, flaky fish coated in thin crispy batter The portion was huge - enough for two people or one with a serious appetite. If you're on the hunt for some seriously good Fish and Chips, check out Jonny Burger!

You feel like part of the family. Very patient and understanding and what a menu! The Burgers were fantastic for every member.

I should have gone off my initial impression of the place and got lunch elsewhere. But since I had ate here many years ago and remember the food being good I ordered my lunch. The hotdog was decent but the bun was stale and cold. I guessed as most burger places they would toast/warm/grill them. The fries were barely cooked and unevenly at that. Overall not an experience I would recommend.

Great place for a homemade burger taste. Each time we stay in Innisfil Johnny's is a must.

Burnt burger, way over cooked and dry.fries were nothing special. Never again, WORST burger I’ve had.horrible experience.

Kitchen is very unorganized and dirty, might I add.

Came to support a local business but I WISH I went to Burger Priest in Barrie.

I’ve tried many many burger places, so my review is based on having tried many other homemade burgers.

I had a 1/2 lb burger with several toppings and I would say the portion was great. I was left quite satisfied for a small lunch. The burger tasted good. It wasn’t the most amazing burger I’ve ever had, and it feels like it should have been a bit cheaper in comparison to some gourmet burgers, but it was definitely good. The toppings were good and tasty, the bun was a tad on the dry side but still good, and the patty itself could have had a bit more taste.

I’d have given 5 stars if the burger tasted better, or if in its current state was slightly cheaper. Overall, I’m not disappointed. It’s a neat little spot and it’s very close to the beach for a post-beach meal or snack.

Though I didn’t get to try anything else today, I’d say it’s certainly worth checking out even if you aren’t getting a burger.

Took about 15 mins and they accepted card.

Great food, not bad service but nothing really to brag about either. Feels good coming and going tho will return.

I was hiking through the forest, enjoying the scenery when I realized I was lost. Night began to fall, and I had no idea where to go. That's when I saw a neon sign in the distance, glowing bright in the darkness. I headed toward it, and soon I found myself standing in front of Johnny Burger's roadside joint. They welcomed me inside, and I ordered a burger and a drink. It was delicious, and their hospitality was heartwarming. Ever since then, I've been coming back every Friday for lunch. The Johnny Burger tram make the best burgers, and I always leave satisfied.

As usual, my order of pulled pork sandwich and fries took an excessive amount of time. Three staff working, the pork just needs to be reheated on the flat top plus the fries were not freshly made so the order should have taken 3 to 5 minutes not +15 minutes, normally you could expect an even longer wait.
Also while eating at the outdoor seating area, the shade sail collapsed on to the table area.
Plus there are no restrooms, so if you gotta go you have to run across the street to Home Hardware?
Not an enjoyable quick lunch.

But let me tell you the service is top notch. Good Friday was madness for Fish and Chips so I ordered our meal at 1pm to pick up for 6pm
My husband brought home the food and they forgot a few things on the order so we were short food. I called and no questions asked they offered me a gift card for the balance and then to come pick up more food as they will the extra right now. We went and picked up the food and they went above and beyond gave us a whole extra order and was trying to give us a gift card on top of that. We couldn’t accept the gift card but thought it was so amazing how professional and willing to rectify the situation right away. We truly appreciate you all at Johnny Burger and thank you for making our Friday night

Update after 5 years: Well I went back to give them another chance, and nope that was quite wrong.

Fish, onion rings, fries, and chicken products are all cooked in the same fryer. @Management - Don't respond to me and say its not, I have functioning taste buds.

Food was great! Milkshakes tasted like they were sour but they weren't. I believe it's the chocolate syrup they use. I'm sure when the weather is better the patio will be a great place to eat.

My $20 burger and fries were cold, and the fries were burnt. My burger sat on the counter while they discussed who was going to clean the floor that night.

For the third and last time, ordering 2 burgers and fries took 20 minutes or more to get. Inexplicably, the burgers sat so long on the counter they were cold when we got them. This time we ate in the car to see if that helped. Nope. Still cold. I've tried calling ahead, this time I walked in and sat down until they were ready. Nothing seems to help with the wait times.

As an added note, on one other occasion they forgot my onion rings. They do not give you napkins unless you ask for them, and today I saw a cook drop a chicken skewer on the ground and didn't even apologize to the "manager" or really acknowledge they did it. Decent food, terrible wait times and even worse
organization.
