Went for Dinner, absolutely love the taste of Chicken 65, butter Naan with lamb Rogan Josh! And Chicago Dark was great beer. Nice servers with great recommendations. Surely I'll visit again and try breakfast too.

After eating the free appetizer samples which were distributed in front of the restaurant, I happened to try their new menu which had great Indian and Hakka cuisine. I tried their chicken biryani, which was amazing. And my friend had Buddha's delight with steamed rice. He quite enjoyed too. I am definitely gonna come when I crave some authenitic Indian and Hakka food.

Tout était parfait. Des prix des années 80. Avec l'économie d'aujourd'hui, ça nous en prend des Johnny G's Cafe.
Nous allons revenir à nouveau.

Nous y reviendrons tant qu'on n'a pas goûté à tous les plats du menu.

My daughter and I tried the new Hakka menu that is served after 4pm and we were impressed with the presentation, value (portion size) and the service. This was one of the best dining experiences I’ve had in a long time. There was even a complementary treat from the chef Lots of vegan options which was nice to find in our neighborhood?

Johnny G's has been a regular stop in Cabbagetown for me since I started spending more time east of Younge.

Its not just another greasy spoon The food tastes incredibly fresh and well-made, and the plates look fabulous. Breakfast here is always good, and stopping in for an omlette or eggs benny always feels like coming home. I love to stop in in the mornings anytime I have the time. It's just that good.

The real surprise, though, is dinner. The owner recently changed out the dinner menu for Hakka and Indian dishes. I can tell you the change is good! I had never had Hakka-style food before, but I can tell you your in for a treat. I adore the chili-chicken, it is light, spicy with a hint of sweetness that brightens my palate with every spoonful. The Creamy Garlic Chicken was a surprise hit. A rich, smooth, garlicky sauce with some incredibly tender chicken, and I tell you I would have wiped the plate clean if I could. The Manchurian, chicken or veg, is crisp, fluffy, and the sauce is too die for.

That not to sleep on the proper Indian offerings. This chefs Biriyani is out of this world and probably makes my favorite samosas in the city, I get them every single time.

Great place to have a little sip & sup, for frankly a steal, any day of the week. Is it fancy? No, but not every place needs to be, especially when it feels like home.
I love what this chef is serving and will keep coming back.

Had a great experience today. The service was fantastic and they suggested me to have saag lamb and cauliflower bites. Me and my wife enjoyed a lot. Keep it up.

Started with fried chilli chicken momos which were really amazing and had aaloo Gobi with garlic naan as suggested by the server. It was so good. Then we had a mango lassi which made the food more divine. A perfect dinner at a warm welcoming restaurant.

More than a breakfast place! It is a great place for breakfast, and it is also a wonderful place to enjoy Indian food in Cabbagetown. Our dinner was beautifully presented and delicious. It had a distinct “homemade” feel to it - it wasn’t overdone with extra oil, butter, etc. Super friendly staff, excellent service. Reasonable prices, and very clean. Will definitely be going back for dinner here!

I found this restaurant by accident and decided to stop in for breakfast. I was professionally served by Passan (Spelling?) who took considerable time and attention to connect me to the restaurant wifi using his own phone. This allowed me to get my Ukrainian work done while eating breakfast. I ordered a smoked salmon omelette which was delicious and generously filled with smoked salmon. Passan was also very gracious to the two tables besides mine. His energy seemed to make the food taste better even if it was already delicious.

The food is awesome.
I recommend any one who wants to enjoy food of classic with spicy Nd especially for any style.as the chef's special is awesome.wish u the best.
And also the drinks are awesome.

Honestly, a hidden gem in cabbage town, went for a walk and on the way saw this restaurant then decided to have something to eat,
The servers were really humble and suggested to eat Florentine Benedict
And yes the food was also really awesome.
Thanks to entire team and I will be there again.

We had brunch today just before noon. It was extremely busy and we were okay with the wait. The Parisian eggs Benedict was underwhelming with the mushrooms looked like they were steamed than sauteed. The hollandaise sauce and eggs were very good. Indian omelette was delicious, but I could do without the lime chutney for it was far too sour and spicy, which overpowered the omelette.

Went for dinner, ordered the Brie Pakoras and the Shredded Lamb in Hot Pepper Corn. Both dishes were delicious and the Lamb had great heat.

The staff were very polite and attentive and always smiling. Definitely will be going back soon!

A friendly and welcoming atmosphere. Saya sat me at a wonderful table where I could observe Parliament street on a beautiful Saturday evening. The Indian dish I ordered was a perfect balance of savoury and spice. Besides, Saya treated me to a fun amuse bouche before my meal arrived and a fun shot of mango lassi to cleanse my palate. 10 out of 10, would recommend! Thanks everyone. I observed a great team in action.

Cozy cafe with open windows in Cabbagetown, I was casually going for morning walk and then saw this beautiful cafe with all the flowers. They had amazing options of breakfast at reasonable price. Had the warmest of welcome this morning and also found Nepali people working there. So glad to have found this place. Best wishes to the team

Excellent tasty food, great portions and lovely service from our impeccable waiter, Sian. Definitely coming back!

I thoroughly enjoy this place. I'm there every few months or so. New management has only made it better. I'll keep coming back as long as I live nearby.

Great service. Foods not bad. Fairly average place. But great little place to be and eat with friends.

Went with friends, had a Johnny G burger which was absolutely delicious, loved the ambience with those flowers and last but not the least Great service. Loved it! (P.s. Shot of mango lassi is cherry on the top)
