Started off sharing the Kale Salad and I can tell you it is as good as any I've had in Toronto if not better. Had the Johnny's pizza and it did not disappoint. The flavour was very satisfying
ALL IN ALL, I'm very happy that I decided to give Johnny Roccos a try. I will be back for sure!

Went here for a baby shower with a set menu. Food was ok - the arancini was great - but confused about the starter salad. Good chicken parm and great cheesecake. Service was great even for large groups. The restaurant is massive and a bit of a maze to get to the bathrooms. Was ok for an event but I personally wouldn’t return for a meal.

Excellent customer service from our server, Mariol? She was so friendly and personable and it was refreshing and appreciated. Food is very good and the location is great!

We had the most wonderful party at Johnny Rocco's in St Catherines this weekend. Janine was so helpful in organizing everything for us and our servers Jake and Jamie took such great care of our group of 21. We couldn't have been happier with our service, meals or the atmosphere. We had an Elvis impersonator for the party and the Barrel Room was the perfect location to have him perform. We highly recommend this location if your planning a party or just looking to have a great night out!

Great food, Great Service and I am fully satisfied.
Must go if you are in this area and looking for a casual Italian food.

We have eaten here before and it was acceptable. Last time we chose this restaurant (Sept 2023) will be the last time we choose this restaurant. The service was terrible and we had to find our waitress to remind her of things 3 times. Three of our 4 appetizers came and we waited to eat until the 4th one came (soup) about 10 minutes later after we reminded the waitress we were waiting. 1 minute later our entrees came!

Once we got our entrees they were all horrible.

The place is so LOUD you cannot have a conversation across the table.

We don't expect this for a place that charges upscale prices. Last time for Johnny Rocco's

We were celebrating a birthday and the birthday girl chose Johnny Rocco's. We called ahead so had a last minute reservation, thank you for accommodating 5 of us.

Dining areas were all quite busy and service levels were strained. Our server was polite but maybe due to it being rather busy, it took a while to place our order, get our drinks, get starter salads and then entrees. One server almost dropped a load of dishes by our table, but she had a great recovery.

Food was all quite good, I had a burger and others had a panzerotti, pasta and tilapia. Presentation was good. I also had a mimosa, it was tasty but quite a small sized glass.

Thanks again for accommodating us, we had a nice celebration.

Food was excellent! We had a very nice waiter who was very kind. We got wedding soup that was home made. Our waitor asked if wanted to bring some home for free. He was very nice. They had great pizza. The pizza looked great and tasted great. They had the best spaghetti and chicken. They even have their own sauce. The over all experience was awesome. I will definitely be coming back next time me and my family visit Canada.

We recently ate at Johnny Rocco’s in St Catherine’s with our soccer team of 12 and 13 year olds. Kelly and Holly were our servers and they handled our group in a fantastic, friendly and very efficient way. Large groups can be very difficult at a restaurant but our experience was tremendous. Great service, great food and an overall excellent experience

My husband and I went for Tapas Thursday. It was excellent, lots of choices on the menu. Great service and there was a band. I would recommend trying it.

The atmosphere of Johnny Roccos is great but our food was just okay at best.
I found their chicken tettrazini had little taste besides the tomatoes. The famous parm chips weren't nearly as exciting as I had heard, just messy.
My spouse did like his veal parm though, so 3 stars!

Went her for lunch with my family. Quick service, food was amazing, large portions for lunch sizes (2 of 4 people had leftovers). Will definitely order again

Excellent food and service, I brought my young kids and the staff was really great at making it a memorable experience for them. It's a little bit pricey but absolutely worth every penny, wish I could give a higher rating because they deserve it

It was my birthday dinner with great friends, 6 of us and the server was awsome! She was informative and fast, Didn't miss a beat. The food was plentiful we had Tapas and Chicken Parm and we all left full. I would highly recommend Johnny Roccos!

My server and server in training was polite and prompt with service. I had the lemon salmon which was cooked to perfection and sides were very pleasent. This was my first visit and will definatly be coming back.

As a regular to this restaurant, we’ve been coming here for years I have to comment on our recent visit. My husband called at 4: 45 pm to make a reservation for this particular night a Saturday, and we were told that they don’t take reservations but it was only a 10 minute wait at that time. So off we go. We arrived at 5: 20 pm and were told that it would be a 30-35 minute wait. That’s ok so we told the hostess we’d be at the bar. It was here we sat for 2 hours while many groups as well as couples were seated ahead of us. Our bartender, Dan, was the most attentive person we’ve ever had. After an hour waiting, even he went up to the hostess desk and asked where were we on the list and came back and told us there were 2 people ahead of us. Another 1/2 hour goes by and still nothing so he went up again. This time he came back with there being 2 or 3 people ahead of us. By now we’re angry because we were noticing all the empty tables that were there when we first came in are now filling up with other people. My husband went and asked for a manager and Katie came out. She was so nice and so apologetic and found us a seat immediately and gave us a free appetizer. We finally got our supper at 8: 40 pm and while the waitress was very nice by this time I just wanted to go home.

I found out that apparently they do take reservations but stopped taking them by 5pm which is fine but if you are told the wait is going to be 30 minutes, I expect 30, even 40 minutes but 2 - 21/2 hours to wait is utterly ridiculous without an explanation as to why

This experience has left a bad taste in my mouth and it will be the last time we go there.

Used to be a regular here when I lived in St Catharines. Decided to do a special trip for my 27th birthday yesterday. I will never come back based on that experience. We were seated quickly and the restaurant was not busy, but it still took several minutes to get waters. Our server brought me a margarita drink that I didn't order or drink. I had ordered a margarita PIZZA. We had to check that our food order went in, as our chips came after our side salads. Our mains were okay, but not of a quality worth the increased price. We didn't order dessert due to the service. We had to ask the manager who was already at the table next to us (regulars who were also got incorrect orders that they were charged for) to bring us our bill as our server did not come to check on us once. We then checked the receipt as we were leaving and saw with horror that the server had charged us for the margarita drink that I never ordered. Very sad to see a place with great service, pricing, and food turn into mediocre food with appalling service.

It was very busy tonight which probably explains why the service Was so slow. We waited an hour and 10 minutes for our food And after all that, it wasn't hot. Just a little better than warm. There were 5 of us and we would rate the quality of the food at 3 and a 1/2.

Great food, nice atmosphere, friendly staff. For apps we had the goat cheese dip, calamari, and rice balls, all of which were absolutely fantastic. The entrees were all phenomenal, the eggplant parm was absolutely massive.

Great food. Great service. We are frequent customers and they always deliver both great food and service. Friendliest bunch of people you could ever ask for. They offer great family style take out meals that are a fantastic deal. Also they have an awesome rewards program, what more could you ask for.

Not very attentive. Food is meh. Very much like a can of stewed tomatoes heated up and dumped over pasta. Forgot bread. And was not that busy to be so absent. Disappointed

I've eaten alot of pizza in this area over thr last year, this was the best I have had. Loved the Sicilian

I would like to say the evening started at 6pm with reservation. Was seated right away in an area that the air conditioning was not noticable. It was 30 degrees outside and the doors were open. We sat for about 15 minutes before being acknowledged asked for a wine list and was told they do not have a list. The waiter told us this was his third shift. Took 20 minutes to get our wine. Very poor attention to our table. We ordered some appetizers it took longer then it should of as he apologies for how long it took for the appetizers. When we ordered our dinners he said he would get it in right away 30 minutes later our dinner showed up. Lacked flavour and the sauces were watery. Had shrimp as an extra that was so stylish could hardly eat them. We ordered a second bottle of wine and the waiter opened the bottle and placed it on the table not even offering to top up our glasses. When we asked for a cup of coffee it took almost 30 minutes to be delivered to the table and dessert it took so long that we just asked him to put it into a container to take home as it just took too long.settling the bill was painful. For such landmark in St. Catharines it should learn to stop abusing their customers. We were there for 2 and a half hours.

My Family and I were there on Thursday August 26 2021 And We Really Enjoyed The Food, And The Waitress Ashley Was So Nice And We Will Be Coming Back Again Next

Ordered on line at 749pm. Said it would be delivered by 845pm. Called at 930pm and they didnt notice my order. Manager didnt seem bothered. I asked for my money back and she said she would have to look into it. So we went to the restaurant. She said the food was delivered and on our porch. We asked for our money back loudly with a full patio and all of a sudden she had no problem giving us a refund. Got home to food that was mediocre at best. We didn't end up eating until 10pm. Would not recommend especially takeout. Terrible people and service. Way too over priced too! Also they had people inside at the bar. Didnt think that was allowed yet. They're lucky to have gotten one star!

We came for lunch. They have good food and generous portions. I have 4 stars only because we were seated on these patio (which we requested), and the table was not clean (we could feel grit or dirt on it). Not a huge deal for us, so overall we were happy with the experience.

Recently came in for a rehearsal dinner and the service and food were exceptional! The restaurant and staff were so accommodating and even set up a tent for us which saved us from the rain. The portions were great, everything was delicious, cannot wait to come back!

Always love Johnny Roccos! Had a great dinner on the patio. One of my faves to be honest. The food is always great & when there is the odd mishap they always go above & beyond to make it right.

Delicious food, amazing service. My brother hosted his wedding reception on their patio. They did a fantastic job.

Great ambience and great food. Service was good too! I feel they need to work on their dishwasher or the system in place as crockeries were not the greatest in terms of cleaning and wet, did not give a hygienic feel. May be we were a table of 12.

Wonderful rustic Italian Dining. The standard fare with some exceptional dishes offered as well.

It's unusual for me to give a 4 or 5 star review after my first visit to a restaurant, but I'm compelled to do so with Johnny Rocco's in St. Catharines.
Firstly, the service was A+. Our server (Rory P) was top notch; engaging, friendly, and knowledgeable.
Secondly, the food was excellent. My date had Eggpant Parmigiano, and I had Linguine Pescatore. We both oped for a rose sauce.

I look forward to returning to Johnny's soon, and fully expect to raise the rating to 5 stars.

I would like to say that after all these years eating at Johnny Rocco's we have never had a bad meal or service. Your staff are all super good and the food is amazing. Thank you for giving us a restaurant that we know we can depend on having a good meal without being disappointed.

The food was delicious as usual but there is no mocktails menu for me (I was the driver). And that was despionted. So we cut our night short and went home.

I ordered a Asiago Caesar salad which was great but the chicken parmigiano was the worst I have ever had. It was incredibly dry with a flavorless pasta and tasted like it was a microwave meal. For spending $65 on a single meal I'm very disappointed.

Great food! Nice Atmosphere, friendly service. We ordered several different plates and shared them - the chicken Milano was amazing!

Food was dry for most people at our table. Everyone said was ok, but not good. For my food I order Backed Chicken Penne, but chicken was missing, when asked waiter he said it is in there in small peices. We all 9 people checked it was just pasta. Then manager came by with chicken and said new kitchen chef said he might have forgot to up chicken on. But waiter never came back or said anything!

Been here a couple of times now, the food is high quality, food preparation was fairly quick, seating areas are spacious with booths, normal tables, bar and high top tables. TVs are positioned for everyone to be able to watch.

Sort of expensive. Good food, good atmosphere. We had a bad experience with a hostess being rude but management was kind and gave us free desserts!

We have eaten many times at the Niagara Falls location with never a problem.
We ordered the mussels to share, they were wonderful nice sauce, our salad and soup arrived as we were eating the mussels. My wife's soup was still hot and of course my salad was fine.
Our main course arrived, my veal and roasted potatoes was hot very good. My wife's egg plant was only like warm, we stopped one of the staff members walking by and told them, she appologized and took it away, I continued to eat, the fresh eggplant and pasta arrived and it was good and hot, most enjoyable according to my wife.
We were offered a free dessert to make up for it and we accepted. Tiramisu to share and Nesspreso coffee both very good.
It was New Years eve when we were there but it's no excuse for cold food.

Food came out wrong, then when it was corrected it then came out not hot enough. Very slow service as well.

Nice restaurant but food was cold and not worth the price. Ordered calzones that had barely any meat, they definitely cheap out on the ingredients.

Food was tasty, service was a little off - not a big fan of their sauce however this is just a preference:) willing to give it another try!

Clients wanted to meet here for lunch. Ordered the mussels and wings. They were both very good. They're also on Skip The Dishes. Our server was polite and very attentive.
