Portions are massive, food is amazing and service with a smile. Good place to eat in town.

Food was amazing. Environment was great.

But

Service was terrible. Had to wait 20 mins+ just to pay the bill. Staff was lost and busy in servicing others. Could have walked off and no one would have noticed but waited for that time just to pay the bill.

Highly disappointed.

They need a manager for sure

Love the food and the portion sizes are incredible. But turn up the heat. Too cold in the restaurant. Other customers were commenting and complaining too. If not, see you next summer.

Was there for the first time today. What a great experience. Will most definitely return. The service was first class, The food fantastic, plenty of it. You will not go home hungry. Clean. Can`t wait to go back again.this time to try their breakfast.

A great diner with large portions and a reasonable price. John's is a great place for breakfast, lunch or dinner. I have eaten there many times and never been disappointed with the food. For breakfast I get the deluxe breakfast (all bacon). I am particular about my bacon and order it crispy. The restaurant always takes the time to get the order to my picky specifications! At dinner I often get the chicken parmesan and it always comes out crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside. The service has always been great. It's one of my go to places to eat and talk with friends.

Food there is great, service was okay. But one thing that bothered me was they dont sanitize condiment bottle's.after each guest

Went to the restaurant a second time and i was delivered a plate of grease. Had to ask for a new plate so i could transfer my food, than had to goto the washroom and wash off all the cooking oil that was on my hands. Sorry now its a 1 star

Well, the foods good. 2 of my last 3 visits they got my order wrong, and today they charged me an extra $2, why I don't know. All you white knights can mount up and ride to your hearts content, but this place is hit and miss. Consider yourselves cautioned.

The good was great. The portions was good. The staff was friendly. This was my first time visiting and I would go again.

DO NOT SUPPORT THIS BUSINESS. They discriminate against human rights and will refuse paying customers. Let them fail.

We have ordered from here numerous times and have never been disappointed, and I'm super picky! We often get breakfast so tonight we tried some of their Greek food and it was TO DIE FOR! Thank you for feeding us well

We arrived around 10 on Sunday and good
thing too as within 30 minutes the line was outside the door. Covid guidelines followed on entry. The menu is varied and hearty portions. Staff very friendly and the atmosphere was relaxed. We did not feel rushed so were able to spend time chatting after we finished. This will not be the last time we eat here.

I went for the first time this week. I had heard positive things about it beforehand, but even still was surprised at how pleasant the dining experience was. I ordered the chicken fettuccine alfredo and was impressed at the quality and richness of the flavours. The restaurant was Covid safe, they checked our vaccination properly, there are plenty of barriers and customers were nicely spaced out. Service was polite and helpful. I will recommend it for my friends who are looking for a casual dining experience with excellent food.

Great local restaurant in North Brampton! Delicious food and friendly service! We decided to try John’s based on a recommendation and excellent reviews. We were impressed! The restaurant was clean with nice decor. We felt comfortable due to vaccination policies and solid plexiglass barriers in place.

The staff was very friendly and our server, Sammy, provided great customer service with a smile (we could tell she was smiling behind her mask!) and a lovely sense of humour.

We ordered calamari, cheese ravioli, chicken Milano pasta, gyro dinner, and the chicken souvlaki dinner. Very flavourful food, generous portions, and everything cooked to perfection - our compliments to the chefs!

We would definitely recommend John’s Family Restaurant and will visit again soon!:)

Amazing! This place has friendly service food was hot, tables were clean, bathroom was clean.worth the visit and the wait. I had the Eggs Benedict with hashbrowns.yum yum!

Absolute top notch service and the food is delicious! I had the chicken fettuccine alfredo and it was delectable. The garlic bread is outta this world. This was a journey that my taste buds savoured!

First and last time, won't recommended it even to enemy

It was my first time visiting this breakfast place. I wasn’t impressed by overall management as I had to wait for 20 minutes in the line up to get in but the food compensated everything - It was definitely worth the wait.

We ordered Avocado Benedict, which was their meat less twist to traditional eggs benny and it was phenomenal.

We also ordered blueberry pan cakes which were absolutely above average. No complaints regarding prices and portions too. It’s a bang for the buck.

They could add couple more servers on the floor though considering how busy the place is.

Overall I highly recommend John’s family restaurant.

Waited for an hour people whom showed up after us were seated first despite a table for my exact group size (4) and it took us anthe 20 minutes to be asked for our orders. Worse they're were bees inside and people took off they're shoes and had bare feet. The service was terrible. I once loved this place and it has gone down hill as I'm typing ths it's taken 20 more minutes we got our order taken. After the food came some of the meals were cold. And also the wrong item SMH I will not return the coffee was burnt and the holendaise was separated our server came to us 2 and both times we had to ask her over tl: Dr bad service, bad food

2.5 hours from start to finish for breakfast. Once finally seated took food order prior to drinks. Ordered coffees and waters, we only received coffees. Food arrived, typical breakfast, decent. Weren't given any cutlery or napkins so after waiting we just grabbed our own from the bar. When asked for more coffee was given half a cup since they ran out. Asked for bill which took almost half an hour.
The service was so poor you couldn't just sit there and not laugh at what was going on.

Service was 2/10. Food and Portions were 7/10. If go back, but clearly no effort on training staff. 6 staff members chatting and doing menial tasks while twice we had to flag them down for attention to get a refill or order something. Cold and rude staff as well. First time.last time.

Went before covid and enjoyed it so much but since it opened up again I been twice and it wasn’t the best experience.the first time was on the patio which is very nice I really enjoyed and the food tasted good but the rice was VERY uncooked, also our waitress wasn’t the best we got more help from the other waitress who wasn’t even our host!
Second time I went was for breakfast.it was horrible the eggs were wet and uncooked, the menu said it came with fresh fruit and when I asked about it the waitress said because of covid there’s no fruit. I ordered a coffee and the waitress forgot about. I’m not sure if I would come back

Great service, short time wait for food and excellent friendly staff. I have to give the waitresses credit for the way they dealt with a group of three males that intent on giving them a hard time, they were being complete as**ole. They were very rude to the staff and very disturbent to the other customers, including myself. I recommend john's to anyone because of the friendly atmosphere and delicious food.

Ordered the chicken souvlaki for lunch - really good portions. Chicken and rice were cooked really well and the salad with dressing is a refreshing. Love supporting local businesses - try this one out.

I went there twice in 1 day.

First for breakfast at around 1. Then for some munchies after work and a beer.

Food was dope. It belongs in rehab.

Staff was also extremely good and courteous.

I'm definitely going to go back at the next opportunity.

It was nice food other than my omelette came and after a couple bits into it. I started notice a crunch when I was eating my omelette. I found out the whole omelette had broken egg shells in it. Worry just check your omelettes or eggs product when you order them there.
The waitresses were nice. We didn't have to wait long for the food. Nice surroundings, atmosphere. They just have to be more careful prepping the food.

Been here several times.great portions. Thank God they have older servers as the younger ones are not very attentive and forget things.
I ordered pickup and the girl put 3 heavy dinners in 1 bag and 1 light dinner in another. As I was about to mention we should split them up, a senior staff made her fix it. Experience makes a difference. Will keep going back

Awesome restaurant for brunch / breakfast …. Or really any meal! I love the eggs Benny. On weekends it is super busy so be prepared to wait for a table during brunch time. Portions are huge. Bring your appetite! Prices are fair. Most of the time service is good and attentive (have been there when they are short staff and although they try there is a lot more waiting for food and service) and the staff are super friendly.

Salmon eggs benedict was great. Loved that they offered a small and large choice. The meals are large portions and all reasonably priced. The patio section was nice and shaded as well.

The food is excellent at John's! Portions are large. Prices are very reasonable. The menu's posted on the website are old and not updated. They should reflect what is currently available. Whatever dinner item that I get I can never finish. They have only take out now.

We had the chicken parmesan for dinner Saturday night. The portions were huge and the food was fantastic! We have always loved our big breakfast out at John's but, now we will be having dinner from them too.

Great restaurant. Food is tasty and portions are generous. Staff are friendly. Prices are fair. Restaurant is clean. Lots of space to sit with booths by the window and tables in the center. All round good value.

The food is constantly well prepared and flavorful, cashiers gives fantastic customer service. I like how neat it is and ambience. Will come visit again.

I come to this marvelous place from time to time as I love the special air that is outline this restaurant. The team is extraordianrillyremarkably attentive and well trained. The service is certainly fast. Not to mention, the food they prepare is excellent. I frequent often and I was always delighted. The rate is honest. I highly recommend this restaurant to all my friends.

I was so impressed by the overly nice staff. I Ordered 2 omelettes, they were ready impressively fast, the portions were huge, and very reasonably priced. I will definitely be going back!

Used to be great food. New owners cheapened up the menu with lower quality stuff and it shows. Used to go all the time now I wouldnt wasre

Personally John's is one of my favourite breakfast spots because the quality of food is good and consistent. Service is good as well.

The food here is really good. The price is kind of steep. But we'll worth it. For seven it was 110,4 were kids. I'd go here again for sure. It's also really wheelchair friendly.

The food and portions are good, the staff fast and friendly. The reason for the lower star ratings are a lack of vegetarian options in the lunch and dinner menus, but also a lack of a change table. For a place that calls its self a family restaurant, not having a change table is not very family friendly. The very small counter in the bathroom is neither convient or safe for changing a diaper.

Sunday morning say 1040 am. Line to get in 25 min. We assumed by that line that it be worth it.
Host was nice and came instantly when we sit down. Food came in about 25 min more.
By now people in line are told 45 min wait.
Food came and yay but mine was cold not room temperature but cold but I was so hungry I ate it. They offered to change it but I did not want to wait. Eggs are ok, pancakes nothing special but my partner enjoyed the Hercules breakfast. I liked it but not worth wait. Sorry

Ordered their dinner pork souvlaki. Honestly one of the best pork souvlaki out there. Tasty and fresh. Waited a bit but it was well worth it. Large portions as well.must go with a big appetite or be prepared to take some home. Would recommend this place. Friendly staff good place to relax and catch up with friends and family.

Had the club sandwich. I've never tasted such dry chicken ever before. The fries were the only good thing.

A few weeks back, my wife and her sister ate there and said it was good. We decided to eat there since I haven't tried it yet. We ordered take out and with one order of chicken and the other one order of pork souvlaki. When we got home to enjoy our take out dinner.both meats were over cooked and very dry! The rice and potatoes was very tasty! But extremely disappointed with the meats being overcooked. Will we eat there again? Most likely not.

Atmosphere is friendly and makes you feel like you're eating in the comfort of your own home! Our server malaree was so sweet to us, always making sure we were good.make sure to leave a nice tip for the servers! They are all so kind. 10/10!

The food was delicious, with very reasonable prices. The serving sizes will leave you full and satisfied and ambience is laid back.

My boyfriend's family comes here regularly and I will definitely keep recommending John's to my family and friends.

Note: the tzatziki is REALLY good.

Unfortunately tonight's experience was not good. The food was great as always but it was extremely slow coming out of the kitchen.

Update: they seemed to have worked out the kitchen issue and things are back to great. Increased from 3 stars to 5.

Excellent fresh food. It will become my new favourite. The atmosphere is good. The price is good value for your money. The portions are huge. I ordered the Canadian omelet.loved it

Had a wonderful experience. Came in hoping for all day breakfast but were pleasantly surprised with the delicious chicken parmigiana and 12oz steak. Our server, Mallory, was absolutely lovely. So personable, funny, and thoughtful. She made the experience 5-star! We will definitely be back! Huge portions (took more than half of mine home with me) and deliciously prepared. Great family friendly resto.

Food was very good, divine French fries, portions too big for me though. The only let down was our waitress was inexperienced and we had to ask for things we needed before we could eat.
