Johny's Barber Shop

My son use to hate his hair cut until we started going here. So when it was time for my nephew to have his first haircut we didn’t even consider anywhere else! Johny was so patient and kind and did an amazing job. At one point all the guys broke out singing baby shark.

Easy 5 star for Johnny’s! The entire crew have amazing skills to cut and fade. My son loves it here - they listen to what he wants, give him options and then take the time to ensure it’s done right. I would highly recommend.

Good place for a haircut and barber did a good job. The walk in is available and charges are $23 which i think is reasonable for Halton.

Took my son here and the have such bad attitudes. Haircut was not good. Place was dirty and we will not return or recommend

Went there, showed the barber a picture of what I wanted, he said he understood, and then he completely screws it up. Cut it way too short, and it looked nothing like what I wanted. Not going back.

Not very clean!
Took my son in for a kids cut and we were asked to wait a bit. In the 10 minutes or so that we waited, we observed that the floor was full of hair, the 2 men cutting took one client after another but did not sweep the floor, people were walking about with hair stuck to their shoes. We also did not observe them disinfect the clipper blades, or combs between clients. Can't speak of their hair cutting abilities but the lack of hygiene put us off and we left right away.

Would request the business to ensure they're taking all due hygiene care and precautions. Thank You.

Good place with great barbers, but if you're going to get your beard cut too, I suggest going elsewhere. It's $50 for haircut + beard and if you want it done with a razor (which obv you do) it's $60. Wayy too expensive. Beard should be an extra $10 TOPS with razor.

They did great job of giving me the hair cut asked for because what I ask for is usually very “confusing”. Overall I’m very pleased.

I don’t recommend this place at all! Terrible customer service, they didn’t take time to ask me if I wanted to have my hair washed, dried or styled. The barber didn’t use any hair products, just water. When I tried to tell him in details what kind of haircut I wanted and showed him a picture, he seemed very impatient and didn’t really listen to what I was saying. My haircut was done within 5 minutes! That was definitely the shortest haircut experience I’ve had. The barber was really rushing through the process and seemed very careless and not detail oriented which made me very uncomfortable. He didn’t even try to start a conversation with me, but he didn’t have any problems with talking very loudly to other barbers. That plus the fact that the barbers were speaking a different language resulted in an atmosphere that was very uncomfortable for me and I’m sure for other customers too. I must add that the final result was nothing like the picture I showed. After he was done with my hair, it turned out that they only accept cash which is not mentioned on their website! They should at least tell customers about it as soon as they walk in, but I only found out because I asked them if they accept debit cards. I didn’t have cash on me so I had to drive to the bank to get it. And I left with a completely wet hair because the barber didn’t offer to dry it even though it was -7 and very windy outside! They don’t care about their customers at all, they only care about money! I even regret I left them a $2 tip because they didn’t deserve a penny! If you care about a high quality service and a nice conversation, you won’t find it here!

Wow, what an amazing experience! After a not so nice haircut from a different salon, these guys saved the day! The shop is clean, the wait time was quick, and the men were each so professional and clearly good at what they do. They took care of my two year old with such patience and kindness we will definitely be lifelong clients! Thank you!

Took my kid's on the weekend for the first time there, 3 off the barber's did great job with hair cuts and style.my little boy always scared of the machine and does not like haircuts but there we we're surprised he did not mind cuz those guys very friendly with kids and took time whatever we asked.thank you guys.will recommend this places

I have been going there for a few years with my two sons. They are good.
This place is busy but they are fast. They would be faster if they did not argue that much between themselves! A couple of the guys smoke (eww - it stinks when you come back from outside). Good haircuts, they can be creative with younger boys, decent price. Favorite spot in Oakville.

I took my client who has a developmental disability here to have his haircut and the men working within the shop were so helpful and welcoming right from the get-go. The barber who cut his hair paid attention to detail and did an amazing job, I loved that he wasn’t bothered when my client started to get a little irritable towards the end, we will be back!

I've been getting my haircut here for about 3 years and the guys always do a great job. My daughter always wants to come with me when I go because they gave her lollipops.

This place is horrendous and over charges, rushes, really BIZARRE and I have no idea if those positive reviews are legit. RUSHES the job, charges waaaaaaaay to much now, first time experience is always good but dear god if you come back prepared for the rushed service, over priced haircut, (he'll probably say its quality) vigorously watching his wife like a hawk, forbid she uses the phone! Place is a hot mess.

Garbage service, all the barbers do is make fun of the customers in Arabic, I was able to understand since I am an Arabic speaker, when another Arabic speaking customer confronted the barbers about how much fun they are making of every customer that walked in they tried to play it off saying stuff like, "what's wrong with you" and "are you okay" as if they didn't understand what was going on. I don't accept harassment especially when an individual with long hair is made fun as a girl, it is unacceptable and unprofessional. In addition prices aren't competitive and the haircut weren't worth the money you'd spend there, and I would never recommend this place to anyone, and this is coming for a former returning customer.please don't go here, I don't usually write review but this place is terrible. It's so bad I hope people soon see that there are better places with better prices, and kind barbers who work in a professional manner. Ignore this trashy place and go spend your money elsewhere.

I have been coming here since I discovered the place with my 3 sons needing a hair cut on a Sunday. I tell everyone I know to come here, the guys are polite, friendly and actually get to know the customers. Great cuts, prices are on the board, so you can clearly see the prices. No issues ever.

great guys. I've gotten my hair cut from all of them and that all do a fantastic job.best spot in oakville.

This place profiles customers and makes up prices.lots of better options in the neighbourhood with genuine people. Went there twice and was charged $50 the first time for a fade, did not touch the top and trimmed my bread down to one even length with no outline. Went back a second time was charged $25 for the same thing but from a different barber.
The guy that charged me $50 wasn't even paying attention because he too busy coaching his girlfriend on what she should eat for lunch because thats obviously something urgent that one person can't handle one their own and needs lots support.all via his ear phones. Not worth it and plus you have to pay for street parking that barely exists. Disappointed my friend even recommended it.

Good haircut, but my barber revealed through conversation some unethical behavior of his (how he’s okay with hit and running cars in parking lots). Not a business or person I’m down to support.

You can go to anyone who works there and get a good cut. I prefer Chris, but that’s just because of my hair style.

I’ve been coming to these guys for the past 6 years and I’ve never even had a thought about going anywhere else. I’ve only had amazing experiences from these guys and I am always 100% satisfied after visiting them. They are also very friendly and always welcoming to anyone. Amazing fades. Best cuts in Oakville. I went one day (I'm from Mississauga) by recommendation because I was in town and got Hooked. I drive all the way down very time just for a haircut. Awesome atmosphere.
