Jollibee Toronto Eglinton

The owner decided to give out loyalty stamp cards this summer, but the employees don’t care. Since they expire next month, they are trying to deal with large residuals. I got three stamp cards for one meal. Also, I have tried to redeem them before, but the employees acted like they didn’t know what to do. Eventually, I didn't get it, whether they forgot or they just didn’t know how it works.

Other than that, the chicken is great. The quality of the gravy has been inconsistent.

The service is subpar; employees make up rules. Sometimes, you need the order number for pickup even though the email says you don’t. Other times they need your name, and sometimes they need the last digits of your phone. They get physically irritated when you can’t provide it immediately, even though it changes depending on the employee.

The employees are underemployed. Poor young girls obviously don’t want to work there, but they don’t have the skills to work anywhere else. The manager was super rude when speaking Tagalog with them. But that’s prob why they can only hire Filipinos.

The place is a little bit rundown, with dirty floors and overflowing garbage bins, also resulting from the underemployment.

They occasionally mess up orders, so you need to double-check. It’s not rude.

Besides the chicken, it’s a really sad and depressing place. My advice: order ahead online, take it, and leave immediately.

In my opinion Jollibee is the best fast food in Toronto. The place is clean, the employees are nicer and the price is good.

The female with lots of white hairs is so mean. She’s in the customer service job she should be nicer than that, my first and last visit in that branch. Btw I ordered regular/non spicy but they gave me all spicy, how my 5yo child eat spicy for heaven sake. Nagttagalog p km d nmn dn magka intindihan

I have ordered for delivery from this location twice and my experiences from them have been both terrible. They seem to always be in a rush and not double check what they put in their customers bags. They tend send out their orders that are incomplete.

Your typical fast food fried chicken. Nothing spectacular here. The atmosphere is slightly more dry then the chicken.

It took about 15 minutes for my order to be ready and they were very apologetic and they gave me free chicken and a pie which I refused. The customer service is good especially the lady manager.

Spicy chicken we used to get really spicy but this time it was hard to say spicy chicken, why spicy taste different each time?

Food is greasy and not much selection. One of the staff members was incredibly rude to me. But other staff members have been nice. Let's just say this concept does not allow the staff to be personable. It's basically a greasy food factory line.
FYI, this company does NOT recycle. That's bad, very bad.

This branch should be inspected for food safety. I got diarrhea after only taking 3 bites of the fried chicken.

Me and my roommates went on separate occasions and both after consuming the fried chicken, experienced diarrhea.

Food tasted 5/5 though.

What happened to the spicy chicken? Bring back the spicy chicken. That's the only reason I eat Jolliebee

I had a bad experience here, one cashier i remember her name was MARY was very rude to dealing with customers.

I go here like once a week and order the same thing: a chicken thigh and a spaghetti. The price is different Everytime I go. I came here today, Tuesday morning. I understand that there are rules and stuff when it comes to making a combo but I kept telling the waitress that I was okay with paying extra. I usually don’t write reviews but In the end I was still given a chicken leg despite telling her I wanted a thigh, and was okay with paying extra. I wish I could have enjoyed my food more. Very disappointed with the service.

Best fried chicken in midtown. Jr.got to try their signature spaghetti and washed it down with refreshing pineapple juice.

My husband and I got the WORST food poisoning of our lives from this place on July 2nd. We’ve eaten here before, but after this experience we will not be returning. I will be reporting this experience to our local public health department, DineSafe. This is completely unacceptable and I hope no one else suffered the same fate as ours this long weekend.

Waited more than 20min in line.then another 25min for chicken they said they ran out.but they don't seem to be cooking more or nobody seems to care that people are waiting

This fried chicken shop made me throw up all night. I ended up having to go to the hospital. That is food poisoning. The fried chicken in this shop sometimes smells bad. This is not normal. I hope the government can go and inspect their kitchens.

Finally tried the Jollibee here in Canada and ordered the sweet spaghetti, palabok and burger steak. I love that it has more sauce than the ones I've tried in the Philippines. Cravings satisfied indeed!

I got 2 pieces of fried chicken (spicy), fries, mashed potatoes, and peach/mango pie. The chicken was surprisingly tasty although the spices were very subtle and it stayed crispy from my walk home and it seemed less greasier than Popeyes (Popeyes always ends up getting soggy when I get home). The mashed potatoes were good and had a butter taste (or like theatre butter/margarine). I didn’t know that it came with gravy and the gravy was very good. The fries were typical fast food fries and were good with the gravy. The pie was average, but too sweet (jam) for me. The food portion is smaller and the prices are high for what it is.

The cashier was friendly. The woman whom packed the food was not friendly and asked to see my receipt and demanded to see the order number, but I didn’t know where the number was and could barely see from dirty glasses with condensation so it would have been appreciated if she looked at the receipt herself. I was on the fence of trying this place since I usually find Filipino food too sweet, but I’d return for the chicken and gravy on the rare occasion since I’m not a huge fast food eater.

I ordered through DD. I waited for almost 2 hours, only for it to be cancelled. No explanation, just cancelled. My dasher was in the store for 25 mins and no one told him the order was cancelled or if there was an issue. If an item is sold out, I would appreciate being called for my options.

I first tried Jollibee in the Philippines about 10 years ago.happy to report that it was the same as I remembered. I prefer the chicken to other fast food fried chicken options, it's tasty and wonderfully crispy.

The staff here is incredibly friendly, and always seem to be having a good time! They're also pretty tolerant and playful about my terrible attempts to remember tagalog from a decade ago, so the experience always lifts my spirits.

I got the palabok fiesta chicken pieces and mashed potatoes with a pineapple quencher. First off drink was good food and my side but the main dishes were lacking.my problem is very average the chicken pieces were very bland would have preferred getting KFC chicken over this. Was expecting more not for me, but worth a look at the menu to try ethnic fast food.

The food is ok but the staff is poorly trained and their ordering system is nonsensical and stress inducing. Too many annoying experiences.

Fried chicken was meh, only seasoning I could discern was salt it was greasy and they don’t offer a choice of white or dark meat. Mashed potatoes and gravy were ok for fast food. No mango pie when I was there at opening. Doubt I’ll return

The chicken is good but both times I have gone they got my order wrong.first time the bucket was supposed to be spicy and it was half and half.this time my 3 piece chicken was supposed to be spicy and it was mild.disappointing.

A Filipino fast-food chain. This store is newly opened and there are long lineups on the weekend.
Everything seemed to be overpriced, just because of the brand. For example, a drink is more than $6.
Most of the employees are very young and they get confused and impatient easily.

First time at Jollibee, I was impressed! The chicken was so juicy, crunchy, and I loved the seasoning. I ordered a 2 piece chicken meal with mashed potatoes as the side. The mashed potatoes came with gravy. I was able to get 1 piece of mild chicken and the other piece of chicken was spicy. It was spicy but the gravy cuts through the spiciness. The next time I will try fries as a side, the mashed potatoes were ok but nothing special. The chicken and gravy WOW! Very good combination! The staff were friendly and I loved when a lady said Have a Jolly good day!

Ordered online, food never arrived. They use doordash, had a terribly rude driver who lied over the phone about delivering the food and made it hard to get a refund. Avoiding from here on in.

Been many times to Jollibee but this time wasn't good. Chicken wasn't cooked good. And just not what I had before. Wife's Philippino so I tried it and loved it. But this time I give it a 3 out 10

So happy to have a Jollibee open up at Yonge and Eglinton! Service was amazing, staff was incredibly attentive, friendly, and quick. I ordered the spaghetti, burger beef steak with mushrooms, and ube pie which were all delicious! I definitely recommend this place to anyone in the area.

Why can't I order 3 pieces of chicken with fries? Sorry sir we only do 2 pieces with fries. You'll have to order that twice!
Came in to try this place, after seeing queues outside (which is generally nothing to get excited about in Toronto). I was excited about a fried chicken place opening nearby. I found it weird that it sells spaghetti too?
Anyhow, found the chicken very average and a little greasy. Would not really recommend.

Had two horrible experiences at this location on Yonge.

1st time: The chicken sandwich are severely over floured and impossible to eat.

2nd time: Bucket of chicken and literally all 6 pieces were half raw, extremely under cooked.

Warning save your money don’t buy from this place save your money.

The workers are ok, but who cares. I went there for food not to make friends.

Slow service and an absolutely terrible chicken sandwich. Spare yourself the trouble and go to Popeyes.

Usually have a good time visiting the jolly bee but this location seemed a little chaotic. Albeit, it was the first week of opening, but there was poor crowd control for Covid restrictions, confusing line ups that weren't clearly explained, and various items like corn isn't available.

Mashed potatoes weren't up to par at all. It was close to being hard and it didn't taste that fresh.

Hope to try again to maybe change the star rating but definitely won't be anytime soon.

At 2383 Yonge st, Yonge and eglinton location, very bad customer service and seems the employees don't know how to talk to customers.i wish I could give Zero star, for awful customer service and ignoring online orders.

I have been waiting a long time for this location to open and very excited that it's finally open. The palabok fiesta and the fried chicken are delicious. I gave this location 2 stars because of the customer service. As others have mentioned, the service is really slow and because of this, the store is often packed with so many people waiting for their orders. It makes me anxious waiting inside the store packed with so many people during this pandemic.

I also made two online orders after my first visit. The first order, I asked for spicy chicken, they gave the original ones. The second order, I ordered the combo and they missed my fries. It was a terrible experience.

EDIT: I updated my review because the store manager reached out to me to resolve my order issues. Store is also no longer as packed as before.

Menu doesn't mention what's included in the meal or sandwich, if you have a dietary restriction make sure to double check.

Honestly not impressed. Went there for lunch with a friend, the ordering and waiting area is tiny and chaotic, we were dining in, we’re not sure exactly how long we have waited for our order, but the entire time, the store played 9 songs; the sofa fountain ran out of syrup, all drinks we got from the soda fountain tasted like plain soda water, we informed the staff 3 time, but not only the issue was not being addressed, but the staff also disappeared after each time, didn’t come back to update us at all, when finally we brought this matter up again, the staff showed a very annoyed facade, and went to get someone from management, and replaced our soda drink with a pineapple drink instead. When we finally got our order, we were so hungry we were not even hungry anymore, the chicken wasn’t bad, but wasn’t good at all, unlike any Filipino fried chicken I’ve had at other restaurants, one could only taste salt and grease here. All in all, not impressed, not worth it, at all.

Yall can spam as many fake 5 stars for a place that hasn't opened as you want, and for every one I'll report and give it another 1 star.

Had it once in Manila. Didn't feel anything special probably because there were so many food options there.
