1- garbage 2-filth 3- toxic 4- dangerous 5- Mistake By The Lake 6- someone is currently unresponsive but breathing in 1North mental Health unit 500 in a chair by nurses station since 5: 45pm (approx) nurses didn’t intervene till 9: 05pm and they were unable to wake him up barley he was mumbling and they put pills in his mouth and water idk if he swolled it but at 10: 10pm he started drooling and his breathing is very shallow. The nurses threaten us to take our phones away when we ask for Patient relations info they say they will have our phone taken away. The nurses pick favourite I ask for help I’m given 10 seconds of attention and told they gotta go but they sit in some patients rooms talking for 3 hours. The Md put in orders to have my blood pressure taken every 4 hours and I’m only getting it at wake up time and bed time and my blood pressure while resting is approx 175/105 resting heart rate roughly 109. Map-114.there’s so much more to this I’m not even gonna start about my mom getting punched in the head twice 80 hours after major brain surgery when she was transferred from the General… 7south 100 manager Jennifer would not co-operate with police! DO BETTER

Just went to the ER because my daughter suffered an injury and was unable to move her arm. She was triaged quickly and saw a doctor shortly after. The DR diagnosed the injury as an elbow subluxation and performed a manoeuvre to correct the injury. Within minutes my daughter had regained full mobility of her arm and was running around the ER as if nothing had happened. The entire journey took less than an hour. The staff we were friendly and professional. I wish the parking didn’t cost so much, but other than that it was a great experience. Thank You to everyone at the hospital for working so hard every day.

Had the greatest if you can say at the ER today. Great people, hard working. Taking care of the sick. Me included. Nurses were awesome, triage fast and friendly. Finally ER, Dr MacDonald great knowledgeable, patient and offer a solution. A referral. Something I couldn't get from my GP who I've known for 20+yrs.

Came here once then again for my little sister's wound over 2 weeks. The Indian doctor in the ER is an idiot with 0 empathy. The doctor we saw before him was also an idiot that said it will heal in a week. Basically had to beg both to spend more than 10 seconds looking at her stab wound. And of course, his conclusion was "this is normal and it will heal". I went back and forth with him as it was clear he didn't know anything and was just talking out of his a**. Also basically begged for pain meds and a school note for her Stab wound. Saw a specialist a week later, specialist confirms this is very serious, rehabilitation, physio and custom splint is required. Pathetic Healthcare system. Only doctor we liked is the Irish man. Also service sucks here, shocker.

Bad stuff for tonight Dr was around the rooms but not visits after couple hours his come and hi didn’t do anything will give the description he said the nurse will coming to u soon couples hours same thing. I don’t know they do
to bad my dad get more sick here waiting for nothing down

Worst hospital I’ve ever been to. The doctor told me that I could get into trouble for visiting the ER for non-emergency… oh, I’m sorry… but I had no idea that my blocked airways and breathing problem is not considered an emergency.

Be warned. Clueless doctors and only want to send you out as soon as possible with no treatment.

I have not seen ER but my good friend has been treated like gold here after his life threatening car accident. He has an amazing room with a view, nice nurses and the main hospital looks clean and not very busy.

By far the most gorgeous hospital I have ever seen. They had live music in the main entrance, (piano) which is insane to me. The place has very obviously been extensively renovated and looks state of the art.

Too slow look patient in hours, I don't understand why hospital doctors and staff are too slow, they don't work just shows they are working, I have a proof they don't work doctors are just sitting in rooms and chat.

This hospital is a joke. If your referred here for any reason beg your doctor to send you elsewhere. If your in urgent need of medical attention your best to make the drive in any direction to literally any other hospital.

Dangerously incompetent. First off, the nurses working IN emerge, past triage are great, compassionate and HUMAN. As for the recently graduated doctor, not so much. I Spent 8 hours there and I had to go to another hospital because the doctor literally did NOTHING. Barely talked to me for more than a few seconds, didn't examine my leg, and the ultrasound tech was barely functional and didn't go over the area that I said was hurting. I'm genuinely convinced that it's because I was there with my boyfriend, because other patients did not receive this lack of treatment. I've had discriminatory doctors before so it wouldn't surprise me.

Went to the emergency this afternoon at around 12: 30 april 24.

The two women at the triage desk were busy talking about their shopping day while 6 people were sitting there with cards on the desk. Thats fine, dont mind them talking about stuff while they are not on break, while people are struggling with emergencies beyond these ladies shopping days.

Second. I asked these lovely ladies if i could have some water to soothe my ulcer, in which they said no and there was a vending machine. I walked over to the vending machine to see only sugary juices and sodas. And if they were qualified in anything beyond wasting company time, theyd understand, you cant drink those with an ulcer.

It took a volunteer to go get me a much needed water, while these two lazy women at the triage desk did nothing to help, let alone do the job they are paid to do by my tax dollars.

We visited the emergency care unit yesterday and we cannot emphasize the amazing experience we had:) It is a clean and organized hospital!

A big thank you to the emergency staff on call as they were receptive & responsive to any questions/concerns we had and were very communicative. The care unit has comparatively short wait times and an efficient patient triage!

Even though our initial examination was inconclusive, they invited specialists to review and found our underlying problem! Our concerns were not sidelined and the whole team did a thorough job in providing the best care!

Thank you so much to the hard working team of ER nurses and doctors. We really appreciate everything that you do for our families.

Rude lady in registration counter. I know not everyone working there are bad. But this lady is very condescending and rude. I wonder wether the management itself is so sub par that it has to hire these kind of incompetent individuals. Specially when dealing with the public on daily basis

The best experience giving birth! Great team of nurses and Drs. Very short staffed but they worked as a team and we loved all the care we received

Left hip replacement Sept 29th. Had a wonderful experience from Doctors office to Pre-Op to Operation to Post Op.well organize and caring! Can’t say enough good things about all the nurses, doctors and support staff! Despite being short staffed their level of care and attention was beyond my expectations.

This applies to NICU team of Joseph Brant. What a great team of doctors and nurses. They looked after our babies so well and I couldn't have thought they would care so much. Everyone in the NICU team was kind, caring, and simply good people. Special thanks to the nurse there Arianna who went over and above for everything for our twins.

The phone service had an abrupt and unfriendly tone. Very poor representation of what a caring and nurturing health facility should be.

Maritza Shadorsky was a nurse for my mother, who has Alzheimer’s, and was admitted 9 weeks ago to the hospital. My mom has had many great nurses while there but Maritza was a SUPER HERO nurse that went above and beyond everyday for my mothers care! She even helped her when she wasn’t assigned to her! Maritza is soo kind and totally cares for the people she serves! Isn’t that how you’d hope for your loved ones to be looked after? Thank you so much Maritza!

Last month I was admitted to Joseph Brant hospital for the surgery. During my 4days stay in ICU and emergency I was pleasantly surprised with my experience with all the staff. All the Doctors, Nurses and other staffs were very helpful and they took good care of me. Even though there is extreme shortages of the Nursing staff, all the Nurses were very cheerful, helpful and compassionate. I am very happy and grateful to all of you. Please keep up the good work.

I had an incredibly positive labour/ delivery plus follow up care for my daughter here a couple weeks ago. Thank you to all the wonderful doctors and nurses involved.

If I could rate this hospital anything below one star I would. My grandma has been there for about a week now and I’m having to complain 2 separate times about nurses who are just awful at their job. The one picked up my grandmas IV bandages off the floor multiple times and kept putting it back on her. What in the world is wrong with this person that they think they can take a bandage off the dirty floor and go ahead and put it back on my grandmothers open wound with no care in the world. Then today I go to put away my grandmas lunch and I over hear her new nurse talking about my grandmother saying how “she’s so weird” and she has “no idea why she’s here”, get your situation together and look at who you’re hiring. Nobody comes to the hospital because they want to be there, it’s because they need medical attention or they have a family member who has ended up there.if these nurses can’t think for a second and realize that the people around them are suffering and need care and compassion they should really save us all and pick a new profession. Im so beyond disgusted with how these health care workers that get into the field to “help people” are treating my grandma.

Very unprofessional handling by the ER. Despite brain issues no scan was done. No report given on leaving the emergency. When called later to send reports to our family doctor they said "the family doctor need to request for reports in writing - Despite giving them our Family Doctors information.

Now since we have returned home the situation is deteriorating and our doctor is trying to get hold of the reports - what a waste of Government resources.

Diagnostic Imaging receptionist is incredibly rude and condescending. Called on August 19,2022 @ 2pm and communicated with a woman about my appointment. When asking for my health card number she worded it by saying "Well I can't help you, I don't know who you are and I don't have your health card number, are you going to give it to me or what? " Such a sad and disappointing way to speak to other patients like that who are vulnerable and sick.

I have advised the Patient Relations Team about this woman's behaviour.

The mental health manager talks from both sides of his mouth and is not honest.
This manager must go. He bullies and harassment staff. Don’t work for this hospital because it there is unprofessional sneaky management.

I did NOT have a good experience at this hospital May 22. Dr. Fung was so RUDE and seemed more concerned to end her shift. I can’t believe how a doctor can be so rude especially when i have severe anxiety. She was snappy when i told her what was wrong. So ignorant. Im not impressed. The triage nurse in emerge was very nice and I felt cared about. Dr. Fung was telling me her shift was ending and i could take it up with the next doctor how unprofessional. I was VERY impressed with how clean this hospital was! Love that! Today May 27 i had to go back to emergency and met with Dr. Faulkner AMAZING doctor very respectful and kind, informative, covered all the basis, he was very quick on letting me know when i got my results back instead of making me sit there for hours like Dr. Fung did, and he had an answer for me. I didn’t feel i wasted my time with no answers today …. Doctors like him deserve a raise or more ️The nurses were also very sweet today, I give 0 stars for my first experience and 5 stars for today. Again soooo clean. Thank you Dr. Faulkner for all you do it makes such a difference in our health care system. Greatly appreciated.

My Dr.sent a requisition for a CT Scan to my local hospital marked URGENT. When I called the hospital to follow up, I was told it was coded-as NON URGENT by the Radiologist. I called several Hospitals, Oakville, Joseph Brant, Credit Valley and Mount Sinai. Most gave me the standard response of "it will be triaged and reviewed by the Radiologist. " Apparently the Ministry of Health has dictated 4 guidelines to code whether something is urgent, or not. The only person I spoke to that was remotely interested in helping me, or recognized the urgency was a lady named Billie in the CT Booking office at Joseph Brant Hospital in Burlington. I called her on Tuesday. I faxed her a copy of the requisition that same day, along with the reports from a recent Ultrasound and X-ray. She called me the next morning and said I could come that afternoon (Wednesday) or the next day (Thursday). As it was already late morning when she called, I chose the following day and had my CT on Thursday. 2 DAYS! I haven't heard anything back from any of the other hospitals I called. Staff were all pleasant and very efficient. Answered all my questions and kept me informed throughout the whole process. I would highly recommend Joseph Brant for their responsiveness to clearly something they recognized as urgent, when no one else did. I would like to personally thank Billie for the kindness she extended to me and for her promptness in getting my appointment so quickly. Can you please see she receives the accolades she so deserves.

Drive to Oakville or Hamilton.went in today with chest pain’s and feeling very dizzy, Dr decided to treat my symptoms with pepto and starvation.after not being allowed to eat for over 15 hrs and no drinking water I checked myself out and went to a different hospital

Today we visited Joseph Brant Hospitals GIMRAC Clinic accompanying my son. We had a great experience! The staf was welcoming, supportive and very efficient. I so thankful to them!
