Go for their Tuesday night côte de bœuf special. The atmosphere, the service and the steak was so good 10/10

Verbally assaulted and physically threatened by the owner for no reasons. My friend and I had dinner last night and after paying the owner stormed at us, insulted us and threatened us without any explication urging us to leave and pay (which we already did with 18% tips). We tried to understand what was going on, what could have triggered such reaction that I have never experienced in any places I have ever been in Toronto or elsewhere. We just let it as we couldn’t discuss with him and left as clearly he seems to have mental health issues or was under the influence. Beware if it happened to me it might happened to you, I ll be looking at putting a formal complaint and should have called the police to press charges

Beautiful evening. As always Tuesday night is half price. No better place in the city to go for two people for under $100 for a steak dinner

Both food and service can be considerably better. Out of the countless steak frites I’ve had elsewhere, theirs is easily one of the dullest. Also, the server seemed bothered with everything and everyone, so that didn’t help either. Overall, meh.

Côte de beouf, steak frites and sharable encouraged appetizers. This combined with the intimate atmosphere, make for a great experience.

The côte de bœuf special on Tuesdays is a must try. The beef itself was delicious and cooked just how we like it, but omg the fries were a standout for me.
Service was great - friendly, polite, attentive. The back patio was super cute as well.
Make sure to reserve ahead of time if you plan to go on a Tuesday!

Restaurant deletes reviews about staff inappropriately touching guests. Friend went here with her cousin and the owner started touching and kissing her arm. Extremely unprofessional and just gross. Them deleting the reviews shows me that there may be more complaints they are trying to push under the rug.

Food was actually quite delicious.it give it that however, the lack of attention to service and automatic mandatory gratuity of 20% for group of 6 is what lost points for me.

I personally do not agree with the automatic 20% tip they make you pay for a reasonably sized table, even at any restaurant for that matter. I can understand if you're handling a group of 8ppl or more bc I know it can be chaotic BUT if your service staff can't handle a group of 6 ppl maximum, then they shouldn't be waiters and they don't deserve the tip. This forced tip is what made me give ️️️ and I'm inclined to not come back to this place unless they change it to empowering the customer to having the choice to leave a tip whether the service deserves it or not. And sadly, it was not. **FEEDBACK TO THE OWNER: IF YOU WANT TO KEEP THE FORCED TIPPING, THEN MAKE SURE YOUR STAFF IS WELL TRAINED AND ON POINT TO EARN THE FULL 20% TIP BC WAITING 20MINS TO GETTING A MENU IS NOT A GOOD START ND IT TAKES AWAY FROM THE WHOLE RESTAURANT EXPERIENCE. I do hope this restaurant can have the ability to feed themselves with this feedback to TRY and redeem themselves.

Made a reservation, they gave us a bad table. I asked to switch and they said no. I asked someone else and they said fine. Waited 25min and did not receive any service from anyone. I walked out. Very rude staff and the food did not look good.

Great french spot in Toronto. Highly recommend their onion souptables are a bit too crowded and the service wasnt up to standards.

Came here for the Tuesday special! Half off cote de boeuf board! Split between 2 people it comes to $25 each which is such a steal for a 24oz steak, fries, and a salad! Steak was cooked perfectly and we really enjoyed the entire board! We tried the escargot and it was amazing! Only down fall was the stale crackers they give on the side. Overall, Id recommend coming here on a Tuesday for their deal, I’d say make a reservation because it does get busy! Space is pretty small and server was great but service was quite slow and could’ve been better. We also ended off with the creme brûlée which was really good too! Food overall was great! Id come back again

Go big or go home, if you’re not getting the lamb or rib eye forget it. And even so lack of seasoning. We were told by the waiter, that the main version of the steak tar tar would be larger, but the size was that of the app. The toast that came on the side was stale. The ceaser salad croutons were also stale. The goat cheese app was presentable but too simple just goat cheese and bread with dry herb on top. If you value presentation over flavour this is the place for you.

The food was so good! The meat was amazing seasoned so well I'ddefinitely recommend medium rare. The dessert pear chocolat was really tasty, the chocolate really helped with the sweetness of the pear:) The waitress was attentive and helped explain and service was excellent:) Fries are plain though, and come with ketchup and mayonnaise but are crispy and good even though they are plain!

I mean Jules might be the best steak in Town. Love the out door back patio and the walk three the kitchen to get there. We ordered scallops and shared the 24oz steak it was amazing! I highly recommend the Red Hot Margarita, great service

Came by on a Tuesday evening for their half off Cote de Boeuf. I strongly recommend making a reservation ahead of time. Steak was delicious, excellently seasoned and cooked to a succulent medium rare. Without a doubt, they use high quality ribeye. The steak was left to rest before being sliced and retained a lot of its juices and flavour. Staff were quick, efficient and very attentive. Overall, I had an amazing experience!

Food is very good! The restaurant is a bit pricey but the quality of the food is there! Just maybe a remark for the snails, as they're cooked in cream and mushroom it becomes very soft. I prefer the experience of removing the snail from the shell with a little fork

The cote de boeuf is some of the best meat I've eaten. Great for date night. Go on a Tuesday.

Complicated feelings around my experience. Last night, we went to Jules Bistro for my friend’s birthday dinner. We had a reservation for 8 pm, and didn’t get seated until 8: 20. We then didn’t see a server for another 20-30 minutes to take our drink order.

The food and drinks were amazing, and the patio was beautiful. However, we didn’t realize gratuity was automatically added to our large party because no one told us, resulting in everyone at the table feeling like there wasn’t much transparency, and that this had been purposeful.

Food was fantastic, service was pretty disappointing overall.

Food was great. Had the grilled octopus, steak for two and crème brûlée. Everything was perfect. The server we had was brutal, never checked in on us, didn’t get to order a second drink with my main. Didn’t run the food, had to flag her down for the bill. The kitchen and support staff seemed good tho.dirty dishes didn’t sit on the table long and food came out promptly.
